I just discovered this a few days ago, maybe a week ago, and just a few minutes ago i finished watching “Fury” for the first time. When the SS - (I forgot what they were called, the SS Battalion was it?) was marching down towards that crossroad and singing something, it took me a few lines at first until i finally recognized that this was the march they were singing. It only took me around the line “Wir pfeifen auf Unten und Oben,
Und uns kann die ganze Welt” that I finally recognized the lyrics. At first, though, the melody was very familiar to me.
In short, today I only found out that this was sung in the movie “Fury”.
