Hate to say this - honestly I can't believe I am really; but Joe Rogan actually raised a sensible point. That if Jake Paul wasn't a UA-cam creature that nil imagination idiots had been watching since the guy was a teenager - he might be viewed as a legitimate up and coming boxer. After all, the whole showmanship angle - despite being outside the vital qualities of a good boxer, is still a valuable attribute to have. Personally I loved mike Tyson because he was pure boxing, no nonsense. No strutting bullshit - just pure shark-eyed predatory skill in fighting.

You forgot the very obvious.. that Mike's an old man. At most, he'll last 60 seconds before gassing out and if Jake survives the first minute, it's over for Mike. The fight will actually look quite painful after that and all you'll see is Mike covering his head for the rest of the fight with his gloves. A big part of fighting is making the most of your natural build. Just about any body type can do it.
@@phillipadams4691 I'm not any kind of fighter but I'm an enthusiastic athletic conditioning. I do sprinting and jumping and throwing javelin and salsa dancing add some Shadow boxing and hitting the bag and boxing footwork especially the pendulum step.
So I'm into movement and fighting movements are one branch. That branch of movement is very good for muscular development because of the impact of hitting the bag. It's a jolt and all that jolting builds a particular kind of fighters body. Explosiveness and sudden deceleration when you impact the bag.
I also do the Tom Brady band exercises look that up. It gives you a nice stretch in between hitting the bag.

Mike is a boxing machine with human intelligence.
I've worked with plenty of men who are close to retirement age who are still close to the top of their game in their manual work and can run rings round the younger workers, most of us have known someone similar, just so happens this one is a former world champion with a killer instinct, natural ability and muscle memory, he is back in amazing shape, any slight loss of ability is more than made up for with his experience, I don't think JP stands a snowball in hell's chance, I'd also say he's either very brave or dumb as a box of rocks.

Power is the last to go, speed and chin go first. He still has the speed. Big question, and my only concern is if he can still take a punch because Paul can Crack with that right hand. If Tyson can take Jake's power then Tyson will demolish him. It's all about if Tyson can still take a punch with his age.

I'm 54 and I still feel like I did when I was 30. Active and exercise daily with no aches or pains. If Tyson feels as good as I do at his age he'll be just fine in this fight.
Totally agree. I am up there in age with you and I run Marathons, i am in the gym 4-5 days a week, TKD and sparring 4 times a week.. I feel great. My exercise routine is likely not even close to Mike's. Add the experience and killer instinct and he is still a force. Of course age catches up to us but late 50's aint what it was when our parents were in their 50's. Real fight or scripted fight this MF can easily pump out the rounds.

I know it might sound crazy, but I've actually thought from the beginning that it may be a good practice match that could end up turning into an all-new, up to date, rematch between Mike and Evander. I could be wrong, but since I've seen Evander on the scenes a lot lately, and he appears to also be in good shape, they just may secretly have a match in the making. I guess we'll see some time soon.

@@Nickxxx85"good shape", as in; to be a man of his age range, he's not all out of shape, overall. Ring rust is a different thing. But it doesn't mean that a man of his fighting caliber, couldn't work himself back into boxing match shape. I see that a lot of folks really dint have true vision, and are only able to look at things from a surface level. Smh
