    Let Jordan Morgan develop at his pace. There’s no hurry and it’s clear that he would have to outclass a veteran to start week one. Get better every day and learn from your mistakes should be his goal. He should only get in in case of injury imo. He has a ton of potential and eventually he needs to settle down to one position, I can’t imagine how hard it must be to cross train 4 different positions in your first camp.

      @WoodyZappa1 3 місяці тому +2

      He has to outclass either an R7 or a guy who’s never started in order to win a starting job. It’s not like he’s needing to beat out Sitton or Bulaga. Tucker Craft is a dude who showed close to nothing last year until the Chargers game. Let’s hope Morgan lights the lantern like Craft did. Let’s not pretend the greatness of the guys in front of him is the obstacle. It’s his job to win.

      @@WoodyZappa1 I personally don't think he will start week one unless of an injury. We have a line full of vets and I still believe in Rhyan. There's no pressure to start Morgan now and it's perfect for him.

      Green bays obsession with cross training really annoys me sometimes. Like I get it, versatility is crucial, but you wonder if you miss out on just having a guy focus on one position

      I freaking love Doubs. And I still see people that think that he is maybe a number 3 WR. I don't know what they are seeing but I see number 1 WR all day. Whether or not that's his future, he's no worse than number 2. People forget how easily he got like 120 yards in that Cowboys game and made it look easy💪

  • @danverdick3825
    @danverdick3825 3 місяці тому +3

    What’s hysterical is how we’re sorting these receivers like we have enough data. For all we know Doubs may rise to be the top of the group. He’s got all the skills and was clutch all last season and has worked with the QB a lot too

    • @Onelove2000
      @Onelove2000 3 місяці тому

      🎯💯🎯 I can't wrap my head around it too. Does anyone remember how easily he racked up 151 yards and a touchdown in the playoff game against the Cowboys. I see number 1WR all day and absolutely no worse than number 2. Its hard to even classify our WR's yet. We have a bunch of guys that so many NFL teams would love to have this problem💪 Hell, Wicks or Reed could be our star WR but the fact that people are doubting Doubs because of metrics is ridiculous. The eye test doesn't lie

    I get what you are saying about Doubs: its not like he has done anything to warrant less snaps/targets. But Watson will see way more balls if healthy, Reed's playing time will at the very least be the same if not go up, and Wicks probably deserves more playing time as does Melton. Well there are only so many balls to go around: almost by default, that means Doubs would see his targets go down.

      Gute and company saw something. I'm sure you could find plays with every first round pick where someone got the best of them. None of that matters until we get on the football field. We can talk shit if we go into year 2 and he's getting smoked

    Thx Andy. Not worried about Morgan, he doesn't need to start so its not like he's going to ruin our SB chances. Much more interested to see whether LVN can produce this year if we're looking at our 1st rounders.

    Not sure I understand the “last day of school” mentality. Wasn’t minicamp just 2 days long? Or have the guys been around doing non-practice stuff for a while. I thought the e CBA limited the amount of contact teams could have with players during the offseason?

    In terms of player health, the Packers saw positive developments with tight end Tucker Kraft and offensive lineman Zach Tom, both of whom are on the mend from pectoral injuries. Tucker Kraft, who had been spotted in an arm sling during earlier offseason team activities (QTA’s), has made noticeable progress. Matt Lafluer shared his satisfaction with their recovery, stating that “Both Tucker Kraft and Zach Tom are showing great promise in their rehabilitation. While they would prefer them fully participating their current progress is encouraging.” The team’s secondary was notably without Xavier McKinney, Jaire Alexander, and Keisean Nixon during Tuesday’s practice. Matt Lafluer clarified that their absence was pre-approved, as each had met or exceeded their workout bonus targets. “Excusing them from minicamp was a decision grounded in acknowledging their dedication and effort,” Matt Lafluer explained. This trio’s absence allowed younger talents to shine, particularly safety Zayne Anderson, who impressed with 3 interceptions. Matt Lafluer praised Zayne Anderson’s growth and his positive influence on the team’s defensive dynamics. On the offensive side of the ball, receiver Malik Heath’s progression was highlighted by Matt Lafluer, who commended Malik Heath for his physical improvements and deeper understanding of the Packers playbook. Matt Lafluer also discussed the rookies adaptation to the professional level, praising their physical skills while acknowledging the steep learning curve they face. Our offensive tackle, rookie Jordan Morgan, our 1st-round 2024 NFL draft pick, was singled out for his potential and the need for continued mental and physical development. As the Green Bay Packers move through their final days of the offseason program, expectations are high for both seasoned players and newcomers. With plans to conclude practices with a likely team-building event, as has been Matt Lafluer’s tradition, the focus remains squarely on fostering a strong, unified, and healthy team ahead of the training camp in July. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

    Maybe they should quit drafting projects in the first round and they wouldn’t have to worry as much about the kind of stuff going on with Morgan. Graham Barton probably not having these problems. Josh Myers over Creed Humphrey all over again lol.
