Facts. The only losers don’t make the 53 or are not a PS call up

It's true. I'd be exhilarated to just be on the team at all. But my bar for that for myself is low 😂

Royce Newman still on the roster just baffles me. Maybe he figured something out? Maybe they are just short of pure guards? Maybe he's just hiding in the locker room?

That was funny just picturing Royce hiding behind a big laundry basket in the locker room.

It’s awesome to have this much high level competition. I know it’s the NFL and all competition is high-level but this feels different.

Hot take i been sitting on from yesterdays episode
Jeff Haffley is a winner, he was unhappy being a HC. He got to go the NFL, he has been promoted dispite, some people i hear, saying he didn't work out at BC
And if he makes a good defense, he will probably be a HC candidate in 2 years esp if we have a NFCCG win.

HC at BC? I'd pick the Pack also and I hope he succeeds as I am sure you do too.

Royce Newman needs to be off the team. He’s a complete liability when he’s on the field. What a bad draft pick

What if they plan to repurpose Dillon for the role that Deguara played. Now they have a low cost player in that position that can do more damage because of his higher skill set. I think it is interesting that you noted in your film study that Jacobs had some bad plays because of the o-line failures in Vegas but Dillon had some horrific blocking early on last year as well. Dillon is highly motivated, appears to be quite serious, and I believe will play a role on this years team. Injuries at the running back position are guaranteed, and you have a versatile athlete who can be an important back up as a runner, blocker and pass catcher. I think that people who expected him to be a replacement for Aaron Jones were delusional, Jones has rare vision, and feet, and made bad blocking look good. But that does not mean that Dillon playing an important role on this team is out of the question, if you look at his best games, he did some remarkable things.

That's one thing, people dive in on Dillion but that O Line run blocking was horrendous for him when he was the primary back in the first half of the year. Holes never opened or collapsed quickly, defenders on him in the backfield. Yes he needs to be better, but the situation was pretty bad for him especially early on

    • @AnthonyA-t8f
      @AnthonyA-t8f 3 місяці тому

Exactly bro. The line run blocking was atrocious early in the season aaron wouldn't have been nearly as good behind that trash. Dillon will still be RB 2 this year no doubts. Rookie will get his touches especially passes, he's too talented not too but he has a long way to go in blitz pickup

Green Bay’s special teams unit ranked as the 7th worst last year. Anders Carlson struggled, posting the 6th-lowest extra-point percentage in the league and missed 6 field goals. Special teams proved costly for the Packers in 2021-22 and 2023-24 against San Francisco. If the Green Bay Packers aim to contend for the championship, they can’t afford to repeat those such costly mistakes. According to Fanduel, Green Bay holds the 5th-best odds to win the NFC and the 8th-best odds to win the Super Bowl. If the Packers can maintain their health throughout the season, they have the potential to compete with any team in the NFL. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

Do you know where the Chiefs ranked in special teams or the Lions? Or who was in the top 10? Because I don't remember the top special teams teams being the top playoff teams. But I do know that the Jets were up there.

I really enjoyed this episode and the framing that it is not about the actual performance of the players but rather thinking two or three moves ahead and considering their place in the system as a whole.

AJ Dillon and Aaron Jones are (were) our household's favorite Green Bay Packers. Say what you will about skill, AJ has the heart of a Packer. As does/did Aaron. That's really all we care about. Wouldn't be good GMs, but we just enjoy watching guys with heart play. Would rather watch us fight for 9-8 every year than watch 52 drama queens win the super bowl.

You’re delusional. I’d rather be winning superbowls. I’ll deal with drama queens if it leads us to multiple superbowls.

In my opinion McDuffie played better than Walker. This leads me to believe that it's more of a problem for Walker It was a first-round tablet and has not been a perennial pro bowler in terms of his play.
