    From my understanding the Celtic Druids would make wands out of the Wood from a Holly Tree. Wands made out of Holly Wood. So, today we get Magic coming from "Hollywood"

    I make wands at times but I like using antler, wood, bone and stones in one wand. A blending of nature. I'm just doing what I feel. I give them away. I enjoy the process but I like art to be set free. It's nice to see you doing your own thing. It's easier to appreciate others art. There's nothing like seeing a smile on a person's face giving them a one of a kind wand.

    I remember camping and picking up a pine branch. I used a knife to shave it down to a desired shape but left the knots in the wood. Now I have a willow staff, and a pine wand.

    I tried to follow the video step by step - However none of my spells seems to work with my wand, am I using the wrong type of wood?

    • @DrawbridgeProps
      @DrawbridgeProps  5 років тому +5

      The type of wood doesn’t matter. It’s the insertion of a single hair from a unicorn tail that makes a wand magical. I didn’t show this step on purpose as I have to keep some of my secrets to myself.

    • @lunalovegood7724
      @lunalovegood7724 5 років тому +1

      You have to use a magical core:
      Unicorn Hair
      Phoenix Feather
      Dragon Heartstring

    I'm crying. Years ago I made mine from the handle of a wooden hammer and it was so rough but I took my time and smothed it and then put wax and polised it. It truly feels like my own wand 💛 Amazing job with these

      I like short wands. Wands that are too long seem awkward and too heavy. I agree they are on the smaller side and the ends aren't as thin as I like em

    hi there.
    first of all, fantastic work !
    So much I probably am gonna try this myself if I can, it would do a nice Christmas gift for a certain someone I know is fan of those (or myself^^). Problem is, I have next to nothing to start except the wood and patience to learn through trial, and certainly not the budget to spent on any those power-tools (would not be wise if it is for a one time thing).
    Would you (or any one here) have some tips or cheaper hand-tools to achieve such results ? knifes ? Chisels ? anything is welcome.
    Anyway, good continuation !
