I'm a Christian with a body count of ONE (my wife). I accepted Jesus into my heart as a young man and I was protected as a recent high school graduate. I was driving to the Mall with my friend and my friend tried to pass a slow car and got involved with a another car changing lanes and go ing 85 mph my friend hit the brakes and we immediately slid out of control. We slid sideways and hit the guardrail and we jumped the right hand side guardrail DUKES OF HAZARD style perpendicular to the right guardrail!! The embankment fell over 30 feet nealry VERTICALLY on the right side of the highway making this particularly hazardous. I calculated as a PHYSICIST that had we not hit the right guardrail totally perpendicular to the guardrail and hiway, we would have rolled over and over crushing the top and losing our lives. Neither of us wore SEAT BELTS!!
I am convinced it was 1 in a 1000 to 1 in 10000 that we survived this high speed crash!! We landed PERFECTLY FLUSH AND STOPPED IMMEDIATELY IN SOFT GRAVEL WITHOUT SO MUCH AS A SCRATCH!!
This was JESUS protection!! I am now a Private school Christian teacher of Science as a second career and im helpjng to win souls for Jesus!!

This just spoke so deep to me right now, i just prayed hard that any chain to be broken and to be set free in the name and blood of Jesus Christ to be.

This is serious!!! I can appreciate his transparency with his testimony!!! And yes, some deliverance does have individuals spit up and throw up. Those that are gifted in this ministry understand it well.... be careful of saying "weird stuff" as others are getting set free!

With respect, it shouldn't be. The deliverance ministry is "interesting" because it's flashy. But the apologetics ministry is doing the hard work.
Deliverance is important, but apologetics is necessary. We are all called to be able to defend and present our faith.

@@selderanedeliverance is part of the process, there is absolutely no reason to diminish it. It was 1/3 of Jesus’ ministry. Has nothing to do with being flashy. Many Christians are simply scared of it bc they don’t want to face their demons or believe that they could have demons. Fact is, many Christians have demons, especially if they have never received any deliverance.

Christians can't be possessed by demons. It's not possible for a demon to possess someone who has the Holy Spirit.

I’m not a fan of deliverance ministries because the focus for the most part is demons and not Jesus. This isn’t all of them but most. Disciples should be able to cast out devils but it’s not 90% of Jesus’ ministry. I believe the point is missed and people also blame everything on spirits instead of their own decisions. Preach Jesus and if you encounter you can do what needs to be done because you are full of the Word and not demonology. I believe Kel’s encounter but those steps are a little weird to me. 🤷🏽♂️
Jesus literally said “You will cast out demons in My name…” no one can cast out demons on thier own, only in Jesus’ name.
I'm not pentecostal and have never seen a real life exorcism, but a huge portion of Jesus' ministry was casting out demons. Plus, it is the power of Jesus Christ alone that allows ppl to xast them outsoi believe Jesus is front and center in these ministries. I totally get what you're saying, but just like we go to specialist doctors for certain problems, I'm so super grateful that there are deliverance ministries and "gaining popularity ". So many Christians don't even believe in Hell because the spiritual realm has been ignored in churches, and look at the state of things. No, everything isn't because of demons, but the devil has been running rampant and societies everywhere (especially the West) is in such decline.
Exorcism is a sacramental. The most powerful way to get rid of demons is through the sacrament of the confession and the of course Holy Eucharist.

Do we just believe every spiritual story that someone tells? That's how we get the Kenneth Copelands and the like. Some lie about it to get attention, and some lie cause they think the story will inspire people to believe in God. What is our checklist?
