Nah I wouldn't say you were a "Negative Nancy" with Evercade. I mean they came out with some different versions of their VS and EXP systems, which to be honest did we really need different versions of those systems the original versions were fine. I really don't like the color scheme on the VS-R. The black is fine, it's the seafoam green that really ruins it. It makes me wanna puke. then there's the whole stock availability issue cause some retailers preordered way more than was available. Then there's that most of their new games were more old game collections, I wish Blaze would focus more on these new upcoming retro indie games and less on already existing games from the 80's and 90's, I'm not quite ready to jump ship on Blaze, I hope I won't have to. But I sure hope the get their shit together. But yeah this dual cart is already on Blaze's upcoming games page and I've seen both games already. And I can say they kick ass.
I'm still saving my pennies to get these on Genesis, but it's totally cool to see them getting picked up on another platform. Kai has also made a sequel to Life On Mars called Life On Earth, it picks up the story but plays more like a Gunstar Heroes/Shinobi III love child.
Metal Dragon has that Smash TV vibe, looks really cool! Life on Mars looks really cool too. Newer games on old consoles is just such an exciting thing.
That’s a great comparison! It’s like I don’t even know why we call old game systems “retro” anymore because new games keep coming out on old systems and it just never ends.
Nice one PK! This is really cool. I did like the look of Metal Dragon as a fan of Ikari Warriors & Commando, and I love Turrican so this is definitely my thing! Hope you don't feel too rough when you wake up, you posted this as Europe was getting up out of bed! Thanks for sharing! 👍
It looks pretty sweet . Yeah, I think I posted this at like after midnight here so, it’s always a great feeling to wake up to all the comments. Definitely gives me a boost to my day.
I think I might pre-order this one. I’m not too interested in a metal dragon, but I remember when life on Mars was announced for second Genesis there was a real buzz about it.
I played Metal Dragon quite a lot when I had Antstream and it's not a bad little game....but I'm really not convinced it's going to be worth purchasing a £15-£18 dual cart for.
@@PKInTheUniverse Metal Dragon was better at the demo point. The fully released version has some awkward A.I, they swarm you too much, and not in a good way. It just becomes a little frustrating. But, these are an excellent addition to the system. And Kai not only have a new jrpg on the way, but they're porting their other MXS games to MD, do future collections very possible.
@@yandman26 a JRPG would definitely be up my alley. I think I saw that they make some Intellivision games as well. I look forward to seeing if blaze can get some more of these games for a future cart.
@@PKInTheUniverse Thr JRPG is in a cyberpunk universe. It's very Snatcher esque. Looks really cool, I'm hoping to get a review copy for Max-Play Magazine, yes that's a plug in a comment.
@@PKInTheUniverse The real gem will come in collection two with : Life on Earth. A Cyber Punk anime inspired run n gun. It has a few questionable level designs, but it's so much fun.

Thanks for the shout out mate. ❤ I couldn't believe it when it was online I pre-ordered it straight away.
No problem, man! I can’t wait to get this collection, It looks great!
Saw the game on a FB post last night. Immediately purchased it!
HYPE !

That’s awesome! It’s neat that the sequel changes up the style of gameplay.

This looks like a instant buy. Very exciting
Absolutely!
This is a day one purchase for me. Always down for a good metroidvania experience.
I’m definitely gonna pre-order this one for sure.
Cool. Maybe cooler than Taoplan 4, but still looking forward to Taoplan 3 more.
I'm excited for this collection 😊
Same!
Nice collection for indie fans but longevity could be an issue with these titles? Keep up the awesome work!

I’m most intrigued by life on Mars
That’s awesome. I might pick it up, not sure yet.
It looks pretty cool!
Looks quality let's hope we get them
Since it got leaked, I bet they’ll announce it soon. Typical Blaze . I’m just shocked I beat Crazy burger to making a video about this.
Looks cool! Definitely more into the Ikari Warriors style game than the Metroidvania for me.
It’s good that they put two different styles of games on it
This is awesome!
Indeed ! Life on Mars looks so good!
These look cool, but I'm probably going to hold off until I see some reviews, rather than pre-order the cart.
Yeah, I’m curious on how they will play on Evercade. hopefully they don’t have any hiccups.
Thanks for the info x
A big supporter of Kai Soft. Metal Dragon 8s the weaker of the two. But still fun.
That was my first suspicion as well based on looking at these games. They both definitely still look fun though.
