amazing, you are for sure a glass half full kind of guy. i used to have your energy age and injuries have slowed me down , don't stop doing what you are doing
Congrats Jay, perseverence will pay off. Great to be able to watch and learn on recovery from highly difficult places. Look forward to what will become of these buses.
Great series!! The topping on the "cake" so to speak was seeing that little tree still planted on the roof as you pulled away with 15-wndw on the trailer, LOL.
Dude, you got a beautiful day, it's 98% on the trailer, you still have all your fingers, no gaping wounds (okay, the bus has them), and you have a cold beverage to enjoy and celebrate the victory. That's what I call a very good day.
That intro brings back good times and the theme song sooo good love the part with Mustie1 haha. Huge congrats, epic journey, insane will power hope your not down too bad but its not all about money. Lovely colours and weather like walking around in a Bob Ross painting. Had a pretty stressful end to my week so really appreciate the hard work to get this episode finished.
YES YES, OH YES!! Now can you get it off the trailer?! Well done, Jason?! I never doubted you buddy! I can't see another rescue ever being more challenging than this one. It's all gravey from here on out..
What a amazing 4 part? i lost track vlog a thon! only one ive seen worse was when you and Musty were just dragging home sheet panels! Thanks for all th time and effort you did to bring this to us all. Cant wait to see that earlier bus rescue! THANK YOU!
WoW! Your VW finds & rescues are getting more & more agricultural, It makes for great viewing watching you dig this relic out of it's muddy resting place, Kudos to you for having the brains & muscle to manhandle that bus out of there.
Im glad to see you remembered the blue door off the other bus. I kept seeing it in the background and thinking, hes going to forget that. Fair play, true to you're word you stuck it out till the end. What a brawl of a job.
Congratulations! It's a bittersweet ending. Hate to see the Buses in the Stream series end, but I am truly happy that you got it home. Lots of hard work and perseverance paid off. You are an inspiration. Hope you get yourself some well-deserved rest. Looking forward to the next rescue. Take care!
Another great video! Thanks for takin us along. Next is an even OLDER bus?!? I love old buses. Gotta say, my '61 panel I got when I lived in Albuquerque looks 'show-room' compared to that 15 window, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
Yay you did it well done, you got a never give up attitude, soo positive, I can't wait to see you rebuild it and the same with the other one, I literally love watching and I'm soo excited to see the rebuild thank-you
I have to hand it to you - you don’t give up. Many would have quit on the second day!! BTW, in the 80’s I lived in Gotham NH, right at the base of Mt Washington. Best state I ever lived it!! Back then the “old Man in the Mountain” was still there. Nice job!!!!!
I hope you grabbed what appeared to be a back seat for a bus that was at the barn. It looked like it had the brackets and bar that you commented on. I believe there were other vw seats scattered around. I might have looked at the engine case and thrown that in. Congratulations on not giving up on an unbelievable tough rescue.
Aw, kinda sad that "the little tree that could" growing out of the roof, did not make it all the way down from the mountains. Since about 50% of that bus dissolved in the stream over 60 years, I'm wondering if it can really be restored so it will be able to move without the help of a winch? Nice job Jay, and keep that tetanus shot up to date! -Burt in NJ
Struggle on Jason. You did well getting it onto the trailer. What a mamoth effort but you did it and its home. Im rebuilding a type 200 basis transporter that i came across15 years ago. As far as i know its the only one in New Zealand where I am. If you dont know its the predecessor to the Mexican Hormiga . It was sent to NZ from Germany for a sales evaluation to see if they could be sold in here. Kombis were selling well and this truck is the"3rd world povety pack". Basicly made from what they had kicking around the factory and some left over steel packing cases. There's one in the Wolfsberg Museum. You cant miss it as its super beetle orange. The same colour as your kombi. Its so basic it doesn't have a fuel gauge. It doesn't need one because you know when its out of gas because it stops. LOL
One thing is certain you will need new floors! If the bus has been sat as long as you think then I think the mileage is correct Jason. Look even if you 'lost your shirt' on this rescue you have to admit it has been fun for the most part. Is that a new trailer I see or did you borrow it? If you bought it then it looks more robust than the old one and I would fix the winch over the trailer hitch on a sturdy frame, that way the winch is not obstructing anything. A great series Jason thank you for taking us along for the ride (in your Mall Crawler!) 😃👍👍
From montrose to that guy singing your intro song. I'm just not feeling it, Jay! I'm hoping that sucker is on the trailer this time! I'm rooting for you!!
This gave me an idea for a set of dolly's for each wheels with some chunky tires on, or maybe there already is such a thing? Only see them on castor wheels usually
Hi J, you know I like your channel mate so please don't take my comments the wrong way, but I hope I never see a 15 window vw ever again and just incase you never went to school, Einstein was intelligent. See you next time. That's if Jen doesn't murder you. 😅
Be sure to film Larry's reaction when you pull up to his garage, and you ask him to help you with the patch panels. Congratulations! You did it.
😆
OMG so glad you finally got that beast out of there, the spirits did their best but never expected you!!! lol
Must be a very satisfying feeling to get this bus on the trailer at least.
Greetings from Germany
The spirits really held on to the very end, but you "Did It" !!! You never give up!! Well done!!
What's your plans for this? Restoration? Parts bus? Let us into your brain...😊 buy the way, that's a 57 chevy hub cap...
HELL YEAH DUDE!! I LOVE YOU MAN!!! Thank you for saving those beautiful Buses!!!
Well done Jason ! A terrific achievement to pull both of them out of that watery grave, sitting 60 years. 🎉. They will make fine VWs once again.
All the time and effort. The 15 is in the driveway! This is such an impressive accomplishment. J is the man that brings them home.
Wow, the spirits DID NOT want you to have their bus. Great job! I look forward to watching you clean it up and getting it off the trailer.
props for your dedication and perseverance.........................................
My favorite is the tree growing out of the bus
I love that kind of area you're in as well. Good job getting that bus on a trailer! 😉
amazing, you are for sure a glass half full kind of guy. i used to have your energy age and injuries have slowed me down , don't stop doing what you are doing
Excellent Jay, so glad you got the bus home. That was an adventure and a half.
besides all the beautiful scenery, all this work will pay-off later cuz this is just your beginning, you 've made your bones...Well done Grasshopper
Congrats Jay, perseverence will pay off. Great to be able to watch and learn on recovery from highly difficult places. Look forward to what will become of these buses.

I would like to thank my arms for always being by my side, my legs for always supporting me, and my fingers, because I can always count on them.
Glad you got it home , great series. True dedication to the end . Good luck with it 😊
Victory. Finally. I feel like this one almost beat you though given the apparent exhaustion at the end. Looking forward to the next one!

there is no limit on how far a dream can take you.thanks for sharing and taking us along.
Congrats, you conquered the struggle bus!
What a amazing 4 part? i lost track vlog a thon! only one ive seen worse was when you and Musty were just dragging home sheet panels! Thanks for all th time and effort you did to bring this to us all. Cant wait to see that earlier bus rescue! THANK YOU!
Absolutely brilliant love watching everything you've done with mbw buses
WoW! Your VW finds & rescues are getting more & more agricultural, It makes for great viewing watching you dig this relic out of it's muddy resting place, Kudos to you for having the brains & muscle to manhandle that bus out of there.
I bet if you washed it, it would look amazing😂
thanks Jay, and well done!!! Hope to see you restore this!!
Im glad to see you remembered the blue door off the other bus. I kept seeing it in the background and thinking, hes going to forget that. Fair play, true to you're word you stuck it out till the end. What a brawl of a job.
The spirits let you save the Bus!! Sun shone on you :)
You made it! And finally a dry day.
Hopefully this series can get somewhat viral so that you can cover your expenses.

You would've lost signigicantly less if you would've hired a chopper and lifted those things outta there straight to your house!😂😂😂
Cheers man!
The winch spirit was strong this day.
There aren't many things I'D rather do than trying to salvage a desired vehicle from a junk graveyard. Time well spent.
Yay you did it well done, you got a never give up attitude, soo positive, I can't wait to see you rebuild it and the same with the other one, I literally love watching and I'm soo excited to see the rebuild thank-you
You did it! Great work man. 💪💪

Beautiful Job, the bus is happy and smiling. Now go grab a Jolt Cola and a bag of Doritos and celebrate.
Thanks…just thanks for the work.
Yay, the " Buses on a stream" is finally complete!
I’m not ready for this series to be over, but I’m excited for you that it is! Been super fun to follow along this journey! ✌🏼
Well done !

Awesome episode buddy
What an effort!
The intro is great.
mud, sweat and cheers!
Here's what you should have done:
Thanks for making the videos!
Congratulations ,on your success on getting the bus on the trailer and back home with you …
Jay this is certainly a momentous event. I’ll miss you and Josh interacting with the spirits. 😎👍
Jay, its almost sad to see the rescue of the 15 window come to an end. Quite a story watching you battle the spirit weekly!
Hey, there's a nice Model A Ford chassis , just waiting for a new home too!!
Gotta admit.... felt sooo good to see it move onto the trailer.... Ha! So much frigg'n effort!
Great serie! Good work! Well done!
for me , watching him drive screws thru the flattened tire into the skidding boards i'll never forget that . f'in amazing.
Killin it! Get back out there and save more vws
Jay: A Hell of an Act to Follow.👏
You did it.👏 I don't think, it was worth all that work. Time will tell. Next time, bring Rob and Taylor with you. 😁
“I always sleep with a chain saw…you just never know” funny stuff!
So I assume you can find another bus with no top half to make a whole one???
Told you you’d get it, well done
Good job, good job, good job !
Any video is a good video. Its what YT is about.
Nice work sir. Those woods looks just like they do here in parts of Sweden. 4:38
Wow man think you’d make a deep breath long winded 🤣🤣
Hey Jason im from Germany and i said das ist wundervoll gredings from germany

The struggle was real lol!

Warrior, Victory, Feb 61.
I am soooo jealous right now
2 for 2 well done 👍
Success 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
a couple of weeks refurb on chassis, will be fantastic resto project
The real reason you want that 15 window…sleeping quarters!
Wow cant believe the damage on that Datsun 510..🤦♂️ so sad
This gave me an idea for a set of dolly's for each wheels with some chunky tires on, or maybe there already is such a thing? Only see them on castor wheels usually
When are you going to take that crap off the roof of the van?
You may have lost some of the battles, but in the end you won the war.
If you had of bought the property instead, you wouldn't have to have moved them! The spirits would have been pleased...
Hi, do you still have all the rescued cars? Can you show your garage and all the cars in detail?
Oh.... and you got to battle disagreeable spirit(s). A win/win situation!
Barn looks to in about the same condition as my neighbors, they have 2 Ghia’s, 2 square backs, and a bug around the barn and buildings full of parts.
what would life be without a warm up fire...
Can it be saved? Run from this ! hahahaha
Awesome job man. How much you want for it?
Hi J, you know I like your channel mate so please don't take my comments the wrong way, but I hope I never see a 15 window vw ever again and just incase you never went to school, Einstein was intelligent. See you next time. That's if Jen doesn't murder you. 😅
Not a VW guy, could the top half be cut off and attached to a different lower body/chasis? I know the more windows the rarer
cool
You never considered those corrugated sheets before now ?
you can do as a swedish guy...take of the roof with windows...and weld it to a better bottom body and make a nice clone.
