Thank you. I picked up the smallest trailer harbor freight sells because I had the same concerns with parking and I’ve never actually driven with a trailer so I figured I would start small. But I like this idea. Even roof racks seem like a hassle especially on tall cars like an Armada

Great video. I got the same hitch cargo carrier to put a fishing cooler and a storage tote container on. That’s about all I can fit to keep my license plate visible. It’s a must have if you want to easily utilize your vehicles hitch. This model is nice as it can fold up when you’re not using it. I like that it has holes for ratchet strap hooks vs a bar so your hooks and tie downs cant slide. All I need is this and a cargo box on my SUV’s roof and we’re pretty much set for any trip.
Mine folds and got it at Walmart 👌 I need a hitch clamp so it won’t rattle as much when my generator is on 👍

bought same one with coupon $99.00 bought 3 locks had my 14 yr old daughter help me assemble it, Quality Time Bro's 👍she read instructions us men don't read instructions then i hit a snafu 😅 she pointed it out and i let her take the helm. i have power tools but used hand tools 10 mm open end wrenchs and a 17 mm open end wrench. leave bolts loose so that you don't run into holes not aligning. suggestion put a lock and the folding pin, if not, rack can be slipped off and you'll just end up with folding bracket. other than that you did a great job with your video

Maybe a stupid question but is there any device that maintains it in place upwards? I accelerated today and gravity brought it down 1/4th of the way until it hit the pin.

Are the storage containers the same size? If so what size or quarts are the sides , they looked like they fit well together next to each other.. i need to stack 2 high 2 across.

55 gal tote: 45.43 in. L x 21.13 in. W x 19.52 in. H
the other on the bottom was i believe a 17 gal tote, I no longer have that tote so could find actual dimension.

Its not just about this cargo carrier rating, its about the SUVs hitch nose weight limit which is 500lb for 99% of them
@@Mark300win Correct and cross-overs is like 250-300 lbs tongue weight. DO NOT PUT 750lbs on this.
No. Bouncing up and down would exceed weight limit. Most, but not all, 2 inch receivers aren't rated for 750 lbs. tongue weight. You would lose your motorcycle on the road and likely kill or injure anyone behind you. Bad idea!
