My best friend bought this exact model and color new in about 1987? He kept it for years. Always kept it in great shape, never leaned against a wall or laid on the bed when done playing, always put back in the case AFTER being wiped down. Anyway fast forward to 2012, he got killed in an ATV accident at 41 yrs old in Montana where he was a policeman/paramedic. His parents made the 1,482 mile trip to collect his belongings from his home. I do believe they have that guitar in their possession, and it should be mint condition or damn close. I would love to have it. I haven't been able to get hold of them. They moved out of town. Ive been shopping for one of these. A couple of pawn shops in Dallas had one, not this color though.
Just pick up a Pantera recently from Camden Market in London. Just missing the bolts at the head stock for the trem. I might need to take the base off and put a regualr floyd rose one on if it will fit then put bolts on to keep in tune. Other than that it is an absolute monster Guitar! Really superb!😉
Great vid. Just bought one. It is really high quality, and precision-built. They are very, very redolent of mid to late 80s rock. Rabin is an absolute genius musician. He essentially brought Yes into a new era imho.

@@GuitarFromTheTomb yeah i bought 2 , my plan was to restore both and sell the better one! the candy apple red one has a tone control (they came with both a tone and no tone)and is in slightly better condition

Rabin was in Yes in the 80's, early 90's, has done a huge amount of movie soundtrack work, and played with almost everyone in the music industry 👌
Playing the Pantera right now. It makes the Thunder seem so crude and cumbersome.
