- When all else fails, here is how to get your Keurig Coffee Maker to start brewing coffee again. The method is a bit archaic, but it works for me.
So, your Keurig coffee maker just hums away, and sometimes it dribbles out a bit of coffee. You tried cleaning out the little plugs, you put your finger over the overflow, you removed and replaced the filters....and, it still doesn't work. Well, this is the last resort to save your coffee maker.
Coffee maker. Broken coffee maker. Keurig coffee maker. Broken keurig coffee maker. How to fix a keurig coffee maker. How to fix a coffee maker. How to fix coffee maker. How to fix my keurig coffee maker. How to fix your keurig coffee maker. Coffee maker won't brew. Coffee maker will not brew. Coffee maker does not work.

Was about to purchase my fourth Keurig. Call me a glutton for punishment, but I like the convenience of this thing. Took your advice, bitch slapped it a few times and we’re back in business over here! Amen brother!
cool
😂😂
I laughed when I saw this approach. I tried it and it worked!!!!! Nicely done. Thank you.
Omg it worked!!! I am so glad I came across this video I was literally ready to take it apart.
Works every time! Thanks for the support.
Yeah, looks like I have to take mine apart. It's that or buy a new coffee maker. All the banging around didn't fix mine. Bummer.
I gotta be honest, I was laughing at you as you were shaking and hitting it thinking that's never going to work. And guess what? It f'ing worked! Thanks man! You are the king. I watched 9 other videos before I came across yours. Your title is 100% appropriate and accurate. Job well done.
Thanks. After watching this a few times, I guess I could've done without the introduction and just shook it to start with. Video would've been only about 10 seconds. Thanks for the support.
I must admit, I had little faith that this would work on my coffee maker, but it's the only method I could use as I was short on time. I WAS AMAZED IT WORKED! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Excellent video... short, to the point, with useful information. Thanks again. Point of caution to others using this method, be prepared for a substantial amount of water to drain from the coffee maker as you bang it upside down.
Amazing solution, enjoy
It worked! I had tried the advice of a number of other videos to no avail. But your method solved the problem. Many thanks!
simple beating usually does the trick on everything.
I cant belive it!!! I tried everything to get my machine to work and then I tried your scientific method of beating the machine and voila it brews coffee again- unbelivable...Thanks for posting
Yay!. Also, see my other video on "COFFEE HACK"..you can just make a larger hole in the bottom of the cup with a golf tee or pin or something sharp. Then it works every time.
coffee hack ua-cam.com/video/iXRY9JCzllA/v-deo.html
Thanks for the information. Mine stopped working this morning. I was online looking for another one. Then I was watching UA-cam and came across your video. My Keurig working better than before. Thanks again.
Hey, that is great!
Thank you so much! This worked perfectly to fix my mom’s Keurig today! Being it’s Thanksgiving, we were going to be stuck without any coffee, so this video was truly a God send!
works every time.
I didn't think shaking it would work, but it actually did! Awesome method 🔥
This was my last ditch effort to fix it after I tried all the UA-cam suggestions (which do not work). Just beat the machine until it works. Glad I could help. :)
@@battlefoxx your the real MVP🔥
I can’t believe it. You’re a genius. I was ready to throw my expensive Keurig away and now it’s working perfectly.
yay
It WORKS!!!!! I like so many others was watching your video and laughing very entertaining. Never thought it would work, but after trying everything, this is what I turned to and awesome it works! 😊
Mine quit again yesterday, so I just beat it into correction....then, it worked! amazing how a little tough love can solve all problems.
I had the same issue today with my Keurig machine and now it's working after using your fixing method 🤣🤣
You just saved me from buying another coffee machine! 😅🤣🤣😂
thank you for making this video 🤗
yay
WOW!!! It worked!! I almost went out and bought another one until I saw this! THANK YOU!!!
tadah!
Well damn my wife was laughing her ass off seeing me trying to fix it and now who's laughing it actually worked thanks
Ha ha ha, seriously thought this is the dumbest thing to do but IT WORKED!!! Thanks
works every time, thanks for watching.
After countless UA-cam videos, I finally stumbled upon your and it worked like charm! Thanks so much for sharing this tip!
hey, glad it helped.
I was skeptical when I first started watching this as I had tried a few other ideas on how to fix the problem. My wife laughed at me when I began the shakedown. After a few minutes of work, I plugged it back in and wallah! It was back to normal!
aha....who got the last laugh...and the first cup of coffee. Thanks for watching.
i cant believe that worked! my keurig kept turning off after i hit the brew button and was looking for troubleshooting online. i tapped the side of the coffee maker with a pestle and it started working! Thanks!
I am here to help.
My partner sent me this video. I told them there was NO way this works. Like 0 chance this works... Needless to say yep it worked for me and I got more coffee in my then I'd normally get. Thank you, never would I of even thought about beating it until it worked.
Aha! A little coffee kick.
Thanks so much---of all video's on these, this resolved our Keurig Express not brewing without having to tear into to it.
Again many thanks !!!!
Amazing the easiest solution seems to always work
I cannot believe this worked. Mine has not brewed correctly for months and finally stopped today and ive tried the compressed air and unclogging the needles and this helped! 😊
Yay!
I was so frustrated with our Keurig this morning, watched your video, and just like the previous commenter wasn’t sure the ‘shake it off‘ method would work, but it did! The first time, I didn’t shake it very much and it only worked once, but then I mimicked your shaking/whacking and it ran for me. Can’t thank you enough!
That is the same way I figured out how to shake-and-fix. Otherwise, it was about 5 feet to the trash can.
Yup, I watched the overflow video, too, and had high hopes. All little prongs cleaned out, all stray grounds gone, I already had figured out a bit of thumping often improved things but...aha...upside down...let gravity help! Thanx so much....
Amazing what a little 'tough love' can do to an appliance. Glad I was able to help.
Bought a keurig from a yard sale for 5$ figured it was broke when I bought it which it wasn’t working just found your video and tried and vwah la it works 🎉🎉🎉
Congrats! Can I send you a bill for advising services? :)
Brilliant! Mine was only putting out 1/3 - 1/2 the volume of a large coffee cup selection. I ran the vinegar and water rinse, unplugged it and shook it upside down as suggested. I followed up with a nice cleanup job in the sink, dried it, and filled the reservoir. Works like new. My sweetie said to tell you "Thank you!" as she is the coffee drinker in the house. Now I have to figure out another gift for Christmas. *Egads*
Glad my scientific method works. You might have to shake and beat it about every 30 days or so, though.
I swear I was just expecting him to slam that thing on the ground😂🤣🤣🤣... (Cause I was ready to do it myself). ..... But it did work!!! Thank you 😃
No matter how advanced technology gets, the time honored methods still apply. It worked 70 years ago and is still effective.😂
Like hitting your carburetor with a hammer when your car doesn't start.
I fixed my keurig thanks to your video. Thank you sir!
Excellent!
I have the K-Express Essentials myself and this morning no water was coming out with the same noise you have. After trying a few things like using a paper clip on my needle, it was not even going on descaling mode. So anyway I end-up doing what you just did, shaking it in every direction and then I left it upside down for a while and there we go it's was working again. So yes your trick, this trick works.
Works every time! Thanks. Enjoy your cup.
Welp, I tried the shake method this morning on my Keurig K-Elite and I'll be darn, it worked!
Thanks for sharing! 👍🏼☕️💜
I can't believe it! It works! You're the MAN lol....
Thx for liking!
Now it works!! Thanks for the video. I got a good laugh also.!!
Every time😀
Well I'll be damned, it worked 😅 I cleaned it recently and I'm assuming there was trapped water. Good looks!
Well lah dee dah!
This really worked!! Thank you!
perfect!
How to fix your Keurig, Man style! I tried this method followed by the cleaning the needles and it worked.
thanks for watching.
Awesome... it worked for mine too.... it works perfectly now! Thank you!!!
cool, thanks for watching.
This actually worked!!😂 Thanks for sharing this, was about to buy another coffee pot!.. was also good anger therapy giving this pot a good beating for putting me through this
Wonderful
Man I was about to threw it came across your video work like new again thanks
Hey, cool it worked!
I have a Keureg slim. Believe it or not, shaking and beating upside down, Worked!
Yay. Hope you didn't make a mess.
Omg I was like no way. But it worked. Thank you❤
every time. glad i was able to save your coffee machine
This was my last resort & I'm happy to say it Worked! Thank you!! ;-)
Hooray
What’s with the hat? Had four Keurig coffee makers that stopped brewing and Keurig would sent me a new one every time I complained. The last new one I received I gave away and purchased a Hamilton Beach that’s been working 5 years with no issues. That was the best fix for us!
I ended up tossing out my Keurig and just buying a miniature no-frills one for $40 at WalMart.
I have only used it twice and it worked fine. I tried your advice and it still won't work. This is my second one. They are more trouble than they are worth.
Bummer. Based on the number of comments I am getting, these Keurigs are pretty lame.
This one really works.I tried every other way to works but it did’nt thanx a lot😀👍
Yay!
Worked for me. Thank you!
@@JoeV2020 any time
70 years old, I drink about 10 cups of coffee a day. So, yeah, I'm dribbling coffee, too!
I am going broke on K-dups. so, now i just use the same cup twice.
Worked for me, thank you 🙏🏼
super
I don’t have the same one but i pressed the plunger in the bottom underneath the water holder and it came on! Thanka
that works sometimes, but then the problem seems to come back. sort of a hit-and-miss thing. glad it worked.
It worked, thank you for sharing
yay
I couldn't believe it but this actually worked 😂
Every time.
HOLY SHIT! THIS WORKED!! THANK YOU!
desperation
I tried it twice but failed for me. I think mine is plugged worse. It was ok for months and months until I decided to descale and clean it. I think I broke the stuff loose and its really plugged. I ordered a new one and will take this apart later and get to the packed up plugging in the top section where the hot water cannot get through. Will be interesting, I hope anyways. New one is smaller as I am n=by myself. It does k-cups, loose leaf tea and reg java grounds. So will be fun seeing if it works for me. Thanks for the video! It did make me laugh and was wondering if you were serious OR maybe at the end just smash it on the ground as a prank. Seems it works for almost everyone so great job!!
Works like a charm! thanks for watching.
This looked like complete BS, but a little rough housing with the Keurig and it's working again! Thanks.
Why would I lie and gimmick up a video for you? Glad it worked. No BS from me.
Thank you, really fixed my problem,it was faster than time I watched the video 💯👍
I rewatched, and it does take a bit long on the video. But, glad it worked. Thanks for watching.
Putting my finger over the overflow did the trick for mine. Thanks.
It did for me too, but only for one or two cups, then it went back to being broken. I hope it works for you.
Love it! I had the same problem and I did the same thing...tough love...
Beat it into working condition, like an old TV.
i flipped it upside down and gave it a spanking and now it is working again thanks to you! this was an oddball - if i put a k-cup in, nothing. if i put no k-cup in, water came out. annoying!
sometimes I need to 'double puncture" the K-cup. 1) put in in, 2) remove and turn, 3) puncture again. Helps with the water flow. Also, good to have a few 'water only' runs to clean out any grinds that get into the needles.
The first thing I did was save this! I’ve had quite a few keurigs !
Yay
It really worked!! Thanks for the tip!!
Glad it helped!
Great Sir, but let me tell you if you disconnect power cord and wait for 10 second and put it back then its works. Your direction is also great. Thanks
I tried that, too. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. But, I hope it works for you just fine. Thanks for watching.
I did the same I sat down the coffe maker on the floor and I kicked like soccer ⚽️ and now it's better, Im getting 2 cups instead of 1 awesome 👌
😂 these comments and video make me not feel so alone with my coffee addiction 😅
@@tendresexton4957 I agree 👍
I got mine to work enough to get a few cups but it's going downhill again so I'll beat it around some more. TY
I had to beat it up about once per month, then I just tossed it in the trash.
This worked and I tried all videos.
Usually the easiest solution works best
Hey man! It works!! Thank you
yay
You're a genius hahahaha. It worked like a charm for me!
Yay
My Mr.Cofee has this exact same issue. I’m going to try the shakedown and see if it works.
it will work, please let me know.
Yep. It worked. I was really surprised. Thank you so much.
@@denoftens9308 YAY!!!
This is hilarious! Glad it worked for you 😁
Me too!
Have to admit that worked. Thanks for the fix.😊
every time.
I’ve tried everything including squeezing the tube and turning over and shaking which made a lot of water come out but no dice still does not work. mine is 10 years old and I’ve always managed to trouble shoot. I can’t access screws to get to tubes. They look like screw bolts and just can’t get access to them to get-off. Can’t get over the price now is at least 4 times what I paid. Spent 3 days think it’s time to give up. Glad this worked for everyone. Oh I didn’t mention I only use it for hot water now and have changed refrig water filter and charcoal filter in coffee machine. Have very hard water!
Sorry. Try ONE more time Hail Mary attempt. Turn it upside down, shake it a lot and beat it all over the sides and the tops. If it doesn't work, then just toss it out. For my coffee maker, I only use filtered drinking water in jug-size bottles from the store. Gets expensive, though.
Thanks it was a different model but it worked !
Very cool. It will break again, and eventually after kicking and shaking for several cycles and months, you will just end up buying a different one. I ended up just buying a $40 no-frills version from WalMart.
Omg thank you this actually worked for me❤
Every time! Thanks for watching.
lol 😂 amazing great tip thank you 🙏🏼
You're so welcome!
The Keurig I have is only used when my daughter comes out. It’s been on my counter for 4 months without any use. I drained the water tank after she left. I’ve shaken the crap out of it, put my finger over the pressure relief dongle, used a scribe to make sure the hole is not clogged and it’s still running but not brewing.
I ended up just throwing my nice Keurig in the trash. I replaced it with a simple $35 unit here, which is also pretty cute and super easy to use with no gimmicks. in this video ua-cam.com/video/FB7eGDIq5AQ/v-deo.html
Amazed! It worked. Thank you so much!
Piece of cake.
It worked 😊 thank you for this video
Every time!
This actually worked for me! Haha 🤣
Yay, every time.
This cracks me up lol 😂 true coffee drinker there to figure this out. My type of guy lol
I think this is really the only real way to fix it. All the other cleaning videos and changing out parts and stuff just does not end up working.
Thanks it worked great
amazing!
😆 it works! Thank you
Hey!
Sometimes coffee grinds will build up causing the lid to not fully close, thus a slow brew or sputter to zero coffee. Shaking the Keurig helps, however, I recommend cleaning the interior area under the pod holder area is ideal.
Thanks. I tried all the cleaning and pumping and other stuff. It works sometimes, but just reverts back. For me, the beating was the easiest solution.
It work! Thank!
Yay!
Did anyone else think he was going to end the video with throwing it away and saying that was the fix? 😂
that was going to be my next step if it didn't work.
@@battlefoxx- I'm not going to lie that might be the fix I use with mine. 😂
LOL, good idea.
thanks, beat it first, then try the other methods which take more time.
It works ! Thanks thanks!!
Yay
Haha! I'm looking for a reasonably technical way to fix the Keurig, and this is what I find??? Turn it over and shake it??? Looks like I have to keep looking...
It's the only sure way to fix it....check out all the comments. Works all the time.
I tried compressed air and descaling and none of it worked! Mine currently does exactly what yours did. It would pump a little bit when you put your finger over the vent tube. I'm going to try yours tomorrow and let you know
Well....did beating the unit on the side and flinging it upside down work? (Also, try a couple of dry runs without the coffee inserted just to flush out any grit).
@@battlefoxx unfortunately it didn't. I even took the check valve out of the top and took that apart. It pumps but it pumps incredibly small amounts. On an extra large cup it will make about half a cup and it will take about 3 minutes to brew. I'm about ready to hit it almost the point of breaking it since it's a lost cause either way.
@@Richard-yk3cf try beating it again, make sure you hold it upside down and shake it a lot. last ditch effort anyway.
Worked for me as well. My husband had condensation in his tuba tubing (too much hot air!). Did the same thing - without the beating, of course!
cool
Worked. Thanks!
Thanks!
HEY! what a very nice surprise. Thanks!
It worked 🤟
Yay!
Yep... pressing the white button a few times fixed it!!!
That probably works, too. I think also running 'dry runs' without coffee helps keep it a bit cleaner of the grit buildup.
Good video... But nope.. even all the banging around didn't work with mine.
sorry, bang harder? Just toss it out and by the newer 'no frills' version.
what model of keurig is this please
Sorry, I ended up just throwing it away and buying a smaller no-frills version.
Oh shit …….it worked lol
how about that?
You could clean it ?
Yep, i did all the other stuff in the other videos, which don’t work. Just beat it
Smacking and duck tape always work
maybe a sledgehammer, too.
Mine made 1 cup then hours later tried brewing another and it heated up I pressed blue button then it shuts off 😢
try this. 1) take it outside and shake it upside down, and hit it on the side ,then 2) when you "poke" the hole with the needle, remove the cup and make the hole bigger, then 3) reinsert the cup to make an additional hole. (or skip Step 1 and just try steps 2 and 3 first). This will help flush out any clogs of coffee grounds that may have found their way upstream into the needle.
😂😂 uhm- it WORKED!! I guess sometimes a lil shake and a slap IS NEEDED
i guess just like children (sort of) :)
To everyone about to watch this video who is going to skip over it, STOP and watch this. This is the one that fixes it. Don't believe me? Read the other comments below.
thanks.
Fucking Legend! Cheers brother!
Amazing!
