at first the tuneless singing and listless beat turned me off right away but i can't stop returning to Black Queen's songs. something subtle and mesmerizing there.

Between this and the new Converge live boxed set coming to me sometime soon, I'm not going to be lacking in ways to temper my various emotions. Very cool!
I would like to hear a remixed version with louder vocals, like a Dave Gahan approach. It would work with a bit of a heavier beat, although it's not their intention to sound like Depeche Mode era Violator, I believe Greg could totally pull that off. But aside from that I love this album.
I feel like Secret Scream is their most Violator-esque sounding song

yup. I love Josh to the ends of the earth. It's because he was in NIN that I originally looked up what he was doing and found TBQ and because of the video of TDEP playing with NIN in Perth that I discovered Dillinger.
