Great video as always jeff, very detailed build. This video will help many heli pilots I'm sure. Can't wait for the next video. Happy and safe flying buddy 👌 ❤️
Great video Jeff, you are definitely helping people who are new to the hobby whether it be a small heli or a 700 ,I love watching your assembly videos and i have built more helis than i care to remember lol, great job and looking forward to the rest of the build and the maiden flight 👍👍👍
Thank you! I greatly appreciate that! I’m glad you enjoy the videos. You are a seasoned builder. Hopefully you can learn a finger two. I know I always try to learn something new or different technique from other guys who build maybe a different way or something better. I do these build so that way, everybody can have a step-by-step guide to build their model.
I was wondering, as I built mine recently, if you'd cover the "extras"bag, with the 37mm head arms. Also, when you get to that point, the skid tubes: mine are white, and the paint has scratched if, just handing it through assembly.. Very disappointed in this. Also, I was wondering about your take on the linkages, more specifically, getting the ball links on and off. They're pretty tough, even with the OMP 5.5-6.5mm Ball link pliers.. Lol forward to part 2.. Also, maybe with another machine (I'm using my m7), have you thought about covering low headspeed setups.. I'm just running mine on 6s or 8s with hobbywing 150 amp speed controller..
I’ve got an M2 evo, and just bought a 450L dominator off a buddy of mine, looking at 700 next, and this is definitely on my list but I’m a year out before buying one
Hello, Do you have a video of you doing a float down autorotation with a 580 raw Heli. From 60 feet. Anything you can do would be appreciated. Thank you
I don’t have a video on it but. Do plan on doing an auto video soon ish. 580s can definitely auto but best to learn on a bigger Heli. But I always recommend starting at 10 feet let it fall and control it. Then go higher and higher as you feel more comfortable.
It’s actually been pretty good! Last night was the first snowfall we had gotten of the season and it was a very light dusting. Been in the 40s or so almost every day
@@kajuta240 I can’t speak on flight performance on the M7 but SAB all day. You can’t beat SAB for build quality, simplicity, quick build and flight performance.
@@westhobbiesrc8051 I didn't want to put words in your mouth lol, already knew most of the answer. And agree :) Shout out to OMP though, I really do approve of the head center bearing and body frame. I think they are an excellent engineering choice. I am pretty sure I'm going to end up a SAB snob myself after this Genesis Mini. I still have the M7 as a contender for a 700 class along with Strike 7.1. But for sure my intent is a Tri-blade Genesis KSE 100% happening first.
Thanks a lot Jeff for putting this machine together for me. Looking amazing already!
@@smaze1782 of course! I’m glad to be building it! Can’t wait to fly it!

This is one of my contenders for a 700 class! Awesome, going to be carefully watching this one. Thanks!
So far, it is a very nice kit and goes together very well. There is a lot to build, but it is pretty straightforward.
Best helis out ther 💪👌

I’ve got two of them! Personally think they are the best 700s on the market
That’s awesome! I’m excited to fly it and see what everyone loved about it!
Nice! Winter entertainment rite there! but you know what im waiting for....LOL
Thanks buddy! I appreciate it. You and me both! I can’t wait to get started! I actually got an anther one as a parts Heli!
Been waiting for this one!
Hope it helps you!

Whats the weather like out your way?
Flying seasons been out since it hit the 20s last month here in new england

Now that you've done M7 and Il-Goblin...who wins in the 700 class? Quality, assembly, instructions, engineering and flight?

Are you going to do a Nitron 90 build?
That is in the plans! Waiting on a kit!
no more VBar? 😆 now you just install spectrum🤔👍🤟
This boy my helicopter. I still love Vbar and run them on all my models.
oh boy!! that means another "how to setup ikon/brain" video is coming soon!!😂😂😂
There sure will be!
