I will briefly go over each one and then check out my upcoming videos where I go deeper into each suburb so you can get to know them better. Hunters Creek is a wonderful area! Beautiful walking/bike trails, lots of restaurants and shopping at The Loop.

So fun to watch!! I grew up near these, touring Rollins College, driving through Winter Park and loving the brick roads, I WENT to Maitland Middle school - LOL. THEN, we moved to Winter Springs and I'm an OHS alum :) All great places you spoke of here.

Brick streets are NOT great for your car or suspension. It gets annoying after a bit.... 😖

@@KathyWilliamsOrlandoRealEstate my plan is to rent first only cause I am not familiar with the neighborhoods yet. I'm just trying to limit how many towns I wish to look at, because I have 10 towns in mind. Yeah, I know a lot, which is why I'm trying to reduce the number so that when I go to visit, I am only visiting a few towns. The ones I am considering are Winter Park, Winter Garden, Oviedo, Maitland, Lake Mary, Altamonte Springs, St. Cloud, Lake Nona, Narcoossee, and Windermere.

It's quite small but growing town and lots of things to do within a 20 min radius, a beach that is an hour away and a spring 30 mins away. Avoid the heathrow area as that is where most of the company CEOs and billionaires live hence sky high housing costs. Winter park is a nice shopping district but can get expensive in a hurry. Sanford is ok if you live by SSC. I suggest Altamonte Springs as it’s quiet, affordable, traffic is bad only in the mornings, three magnet high schools, and you can easily get places quickly, half an hour to Daytona, two and half hours to the university of Florida, three to Miami, fifteen minutes to downtown Orlando, maybe twenty to Disney and universal. Of course depending on events. But that’s average times on the road.

Chickasaw Trails is, a good neighborhood to live in, I grew up in this neighborhood it's about five minutes from vista lakes and has pretty good schools

Hello, I have a question. Is there anywhere in Orlando or FL I can live off the grid? where it's legal to use solar and grow your own food?
I’m not sure about off the grid, but solar is legal and growing your own food is legal in most neighborhoods without HOA. How about some land outside of orlando? You can find more rural opportunities in Seminole and Lake counties.

Hello kathy was wondering what a good area in orlando would be for two 23 year old that are looking to establish residency in florida before starting school. as a mom would like to see them in a safe area . looking for nice rentals
There are lots of safe areas. If they are starting school maybe renting in the Lake Nona area or Oviedo could be good options.

Oviedo, very safe, A+ schools. Ucf is in Oviedo.

What's wrong with Sanford? Great riverfront, walking trails, Central Florida Zoo, international airport... What's wrong with Heathrow? Scenic with beautiful homes and upscale apartments, nice roads...
Hi Henry! I personally like parts of Sanford. Especially the historic area! I tried to put the top suburbs with the top schools as well because I do have that question come up a lot. I tend to lump Heathrow in with Lake Mary and your right it is a beautiful area! Thanks for watching!

Hi Easy Feeling!! Thanks for the comment! I've always understood that Isleworth was a community in Windermere, FL. Anyway, that is how the locals look at it. Its on the Butler chain of lakes which is in Windermere but who knows! News to me!! haha!

I am not aware of that going on.

Orange county has a bloated out of control Government, I've since moved to an adjacent county .
Orange tried to overtake Windermere FL a few years ago. The wealthy residents said: NO! 🚫. Mayor Jerry Demings is a dolt. How he stays in office is amazing.
