York electronics has my board right now. $225 to repair the pc board whether its one component or all components that are bad. Miller/hobart sent me to that guy. I know its an old video but hopefully this helps someone else
I had a 2005 Lincoln Ranger Three Phase engine drive. I took the covers off at ten hours just to inspect the build quality. A main output cable was too short and as a result was cutting into a sharp edge of the " reactot " . Not long for this world. Repaired and reviewed the overall marginal build quality. When on a job site we ( my husband and I ) cannot afford equipment problems. The customers will just call someone else. Can't blame them. They need results not excuses.
Could be many things but check simple first: change oil with proper weight; if it's too light or heavy, a sensor will shut the engine down. Same with the cooling system; make sure it's full and not overheating. Beyond that, find a welding machine repair facility. Internet search or ask a welding supply distributor. As you can see, they are pretty complex and there are people who are trained to repair them.
@@SunriseCrawlers I don't really use the idle down on mine much cause I run a wire feeder and it won't idle down unless you turn the feeder off. I thought they all had it though cause I have a 99 300d with the Kubota engine and it has it. Not sure what would be involved in adding it to a machine that doesn't have it.
@@LifeWithChase I would need the idle kick down solenoid. I would need the 6 wire plug thing in your white box and a couple wire is what it would take. My user manual showes me what I'm missing on a wire diagram. I called them and asked them about it and they said my model would shake across the garage floor if it had it bullllllll shhhhh#### I need to make a trailer for mine as well

Nice video I have same machine mine does same but sometimes I get voltes on my meter then I lose it . So might check my wires and leads .

i have a 09 big blue air pack and i don’t have any voltage control on cv setting. any ideas.?
Either the selector switch or the computer is what I would guess. If you call miller they might can give you some pointers.

I figured that but I called a few places and no one was willing to help me, or bother to call me back so I bought a new one.
