@@njstan8188 I do it before bed, for me it is not an issue to sleep like that. I have done it with dry hair and slightly damped hair. If it is still really damped it won't dry.
I adore you but I think you have preconceived notions about cheaper products like this. Your hair looked easily as good as the Dyson on your left side - particularly at the end of the day! You should try styling from wet… it’s not a true test otherwise. I think you’d surprise yourself! Use the lower setting if the heat is too much 😘
She wouldn't use the tool straight from wet hair. That's not how to use heat tools to begin with. Always let your hair "dry" up in a towel before styling with heat or you'll be styling for a long time.
I’m a hairstylist, if she used this on damp hair the clamp would be even more of a hassle! The smaller the section the tighter the curl but w/this one smaller sections easily slipped out of the clamp, forcing her to use large sections. That’s too restrictive for most users having to only use large sections. The Shark & Dyson sucks the hair TO the tool, no clamp needed nor leaving a clamp ‘line’.
@@jackjohnson3538 Fair enough. The clamp was all they had when this style of curlers first came out though (just saying) plus you can leave it open easy enough 🤷🏽♀️
I have been using one of these round brush types for well over 15 years. It has no clamp. I made sure to buy another one about three years ago because they quit making them for a while. It has always done my hair beautifully and was priced around 25$. And I always use it with damp hair.
I just really love how real you are. I'm in a humid area with semi-curly drier natural hair and all my curls really fall so quickly regardless of tool, metal, or heat. So these check-ins are always so helpful!
I REALLY like this as a more affordable option from a Dyson. I think I'm going to go for it. If you didn't do this video, I would not have known about it. Also, I'm sure they will sell only the attachments soon. We didn't know they were going to come out with something else when the new brush styler came out being detachable. It takes me a good 45 min to curl my sort of short hair with a flat iron already. So the time doesn't bother me. I only do my hair 2 times a week anyways lol
I can't use a brush and hair dryer. So the one step brush dryer is a life save. I have curly hair, but sometimes I want wave hair and this one step is almost perfect (it is noise). Since I am not spending $500 in the Dyson unless Henry Cavill comes as an attachment, this is my thing. I absolutely hate overpriced stuff no matter what they do. Something will do the same for cheaper after a while.
I have the new one step one so seems pointless to have the spend money on another base. If they just sold the curl and root dryer attachment then I would get it! X
I use a wand and get the same curls without all the twisting and rolling back up over and over. I never understood why these are called one step when you have to dry your hair almost totally dry to get them to work properly. I have very think, very wavy hair anyway that I would have to dry straight and then curl with this. It's soooooo loud! Going to stick with my hot tool wands when I want curls. They last a long time and so much quicker and easier
Your hair is hot because there isn’t any moisture for it to dry. There’s a difference between the air it’s blowing as hot and your hair getting hot. If your hair is getting to hot you are damaging it.
Do you dry it at night or sleep on it wet? I'm just curious as I never do it like that but it sounds like it could be a good time saver in the morning. I just get terrible bed head.
I don’t know if this happened fairly recently like post you doing this video or if you didn’t realise when doing this video that you can get a curler attachment for the Revlon brush - at least that’s what I’ve noticed on Amazon when I purchased the newer Revlon l brush recently

What would you say is your favourite curling iron? I'm seeing reviews but no preference, are you allowed to say having being a UA-camr? Tia milana, hey from uk 🇬🇧 x
I find something like this no different than just using a curling iron. The heat is right up against your hair strands and that's what causes damage. Also, Not sure about anyone else but curling my hair is usually a "treat", not something I do daily. I do enough damage straightening my part Italian and part Ethiopian curly hair with a round brush w/ boar bristles. Then running it through a flat iron QUICK in certain stubborn spots to smooth it out. Then, I don't wash it for 4+ days, always taking my hair as long as I can go with dry shampoo at the roots. I’m pretty sure that if the heat wasn’t so hot ( even on MEDIUM!) that this product would rank VERY high on your list. One con that is a concern of mine is that if a young child was using it, they could possibly get burned. I think Revlon really needs to address this so they won’t be in a lawsuit. A Pro for this is that it would be great for travel!! Not to many things to pack and the hair still looks great!!! I really like your reviews because they are honest and true.
