That's amazing! It's so much easier when they last a long time. And better since you can take a break from the heat. Awesome job 🙏

Do you start culring with the iron curler when the hair is completely dry, or it should still be a little wet?? I watched also the video of how to curl my hair, but i wonder if we should start curling when it is completly dry or a bit wet like when we do a blowout? Thank you:)

I love this product! But what I do differently is I roll the hair up then turn the heat on. I also use the drying attachment by combing up underneath my hair bottom to top. And it actually gives me a lot of fullness and body.

I bought this revlon blowout curling wand and I like it! Lol what I did was leave it turned off rolled the hair up then turned on the device so that the hair doesn’t blow! My hair is shoulder length and I dried my hair half way with the Revlon blow out brush first then used the curler! ❤

Woah him clocking this through the commercial is just…….. phenomenal. Btw I ordered the huge size of purology leave in conditioner. Purology has been around for a long time now as a brand and like a vegan original. I really love the results from this product he recommends and I notice instant results from it, softness and moisturize and lightweight. I love how he is honest with his product recommendations it really shows and means SO much!

I’ve shared your videos with my daughters, now they are subbed! We all love that you give it straight with a touch of hilarity. You in a wig makes my day!! The other Revlon dryer blew my hair all over as well. I gave it away. You can see in the model video straight away the blasted thing isn’t even turned on. How lovely of Revlon to insult our intelligence so bluntly! 😂

  • @aelisei

Just bought this and it's actually really good! What I do is curl the hair with it turned off and then turn it on and let it do it's thing. It comes out really nice and on the first setting I can even hold my hand on it and it doesn't burn. It's hot, but it doesn't burn. So I'm thinking that if it doesn't burn my hand, it doesn't burn my hair either. The curls hold very well for a good few days if you use some styling products like some gell or hairspray. So all in all, I'm really happy I bought this! 😊

Chris, I want to thank you for all your advice. I recently got the Redken volume injection shampoo and I use it with the Redken acidic bonding concentrate conditioner and I now have the very best hair of my life! I have body, bounce, fullness AND shine AND no frizz! Astounding results! I also use Moroccanoil smoothing lotion as my leave in conditioner and a hair oil on the ends like you recommended. Either Olaplex or another. Amazing ❤

I have naturally curly hair and I use tjis attachment to get beautiful long lasting loose waves. The trick is use on already blowdried hair. Take small sections, put a mousse or spray with water on the strand, roll it up with the device off, then once rolled , turn it on medium or low, switch to cool for the last few seconds and release when the hair us completely dry. My hair looks amazing for 2-3 days.

I actually bought this I have straight hair but yeah this works on it and it even holds the curl pretty well…I’m not in anyway affiliated to revlon or anything just saying that usually my hair needs a LOT of spray even hairdresser curls with iron or brush…I liked this little air-curl thingamajig for the price it’s good for lazy people like me that want some curls

Chris, it is Christmas Eve and we are headed out to visit family. I followed your perfect hair 3 step routine for the second time yesterday and followed up with the putting my hair on top of my head to sleep suggestion. I did this after blow drying having conditioned, Olaplex, & blow dry protection use. I twisted my hair around and wound the ends around the bun I formed. My hair was falling in wavy curls when I took it down. It looked so good and it smelled wonderful! The best part was that no type heat was necessary! I am sooooo happy and am crossing my fingers that this look lasts three to four days! Thank you so very much for your informational videos. You have made my holidays even more enjoyable. Blessings to you and yours and Merry Christmas! 🎄

For me, videos like this are more helpful when the pro makes their best effort at getting good results, even if it means departing from the instructions. I would have loved to see Chris try different approaches, like turning it on after rolling. That tells us how much of the result is the tool vs. the technique, teaches us how to get the best result we can from the tool, and also how a pro approaches the troubleshooting/learning process. That's why I LOVED seeing how Chris evaluated their video and pointed out where the shenanigans were.

@@BlowoutProfessor Yes, and I'm pretty careful. Ah, I should investigate the warranty. About the Conair, the black shiny finish on the Dr. Knot handle comes off in little flecks, getting all over your skin and hair. It's probably not good to breathe in, I'd imagine. Happened twice to two dryers but the third one is ok, finally. Too many tools for sure!

Check out Manes by Mell here on UA-cam. She is a hairstylist who specializes in curly hair. Like Chris, Mell tells the WHY behind her recommendations. She will not feed you the old sulfates and silicones are "evil" line that so many curly hair "specialist" do but explains how to use them, in a non damaging way, for long lasting healthy curls. She has a special technique for diffusing curls that doesn't disturb the curl pattern or cause a lot of frizz.

Curious about Lange’s- le volume eleve. I think it’s new. It has a new tear drop shape that’s apparently supposed to get more volume in your roots. Thinking of buying one, but the original le volume is cheaper. Wondering if this new shape even makes a difference. If not, then I’ll just go with the round one :)

I'd just suggest turning it off, wrapping the section around the barrel, then turning it on. That's probably what they were doing in their instructional video.
This is what I do with my diffuser. My hair is very fine and it'll blow around and frizz if I don't turn off the dryer when I move to the next section. My hair dryer is constantly being turned on and off while I diffuse. It's the only way I can dry my waves and curls without creating a frizz crisis.

Your videos have changed the game for me!!! Thank you!
I had a question… I do martial arts where I have to do a full shower every day after practice. Any recommendations for maintaining healthy hair without being able to wash every three days? I use professional shampoo, leave in conditioner, and hair oil.
Thank you for what you do!

I'd love to see what you think about infrared flat irons. Not too many people covering it :)

Hi! Love your channel (: if possible can you do a video on the heatless curls? You mentioned to keep your hair away from water, and the process says to spray hair with water before doing it. I’m trying to follow the “trio” to help grow my hair out so im trying to follow that to a tee. Thanks!

3:45 - Realistically, don't they just turn it off while rolling up the curls? Might seem like a lot of busywork but seems like the best way to avoid stray hairs.

I love your videos. Have you ever talked about Glaze hair products? My sister in law wants to help her red hair which is now strawberry blonde VS her vibrant red. Do you have any recommendations? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
