What kind of bat system do you use?

I have several systems but this is just a regular old falling apart masonite bat!

Let me know if you want to know more about the different bats I use. It’s kind of a long answer so I’m not gonna say it if you’re not even listening lol
But I will tell you that my absolutely amazing partner recently made me some MDF bats, and I am thrilled with them! 😍😍😍

Would you please share name and cone for the clay your using. Thanks

The clay is called Klamath Yellow, from Seattle pottery supply. The yellow color is from yellow iron oxide. After the bisque, it’s a gorgeous orangey rose 😍😍😍. The body turns a rich reddish brown at cone 6. (Copy/pasted because I get this question so often!)
But I don’t recommend it anymore for functional work because it doesn’t vitrify at cone six. I will be transitioning to a new clay body soon-ish.
