Thank you so much for sharing this pattern! I was trying another basket weave pattern, but found it so cumbersome and slow to work up, and didn't look all that great. Then stumbled across this! So much easier and more beautiful! I'm working it in the round for a cup cozy. Thanks again.
I love love that pattern I will be doing that. I just love your. Explaining. And showing how to do the pattern you make it look so easy I've been crocheting for. 45 yrs it relaxes me
This pattern is very pretty how it is worked up. It would make a pretty Christmas one, with Red, White and Green. Thank you Glenda for always sharing with us. 💜🤗🙏🧶
What a beautiful and versatile pattern! I love that you can use solid, variegated, or planed pooling yarn, and they all come out beautiful. Another great pattern from my favorite UA-cam crochet teacher. You're the only one who does 3 samples for every tutorial, which gives us great possibilities. Thanks, Glenda!
I made one of these many years ago in Christmas colors and put real long fringe It was given to a Sister-in-law and she brings it out for over a rocking chair every year. But a Late Auntie had started it for me so I could never recreate it Thank you Glenda for a wonderful memory Try hunter green main color with red & white alternating 🙏🏻💕🌹Stay safe
This is a great pattern to use with baby items. There are no holes in the pattern so nothing for little fingers to get tangled in. Will definitely make this.
I love all of the samples that you made. It's got my mind running through my yarn stock to see what I can put together! Thank you for another great tutorial!
What a beautiful pattern! It kinda reminds me of Mosaic Crochet. I'm gonna put this on my to do list. Thanks Glenda, for such nice pattern stitches. Stay Safe, Blessings Always 💕
First instructional video I’ve watched of yours. I’ve watch many of your other videos, just not any tutorial videos. You explained this very well. I believe it will be easy to follow. I’m just finishing a king size Bavarian crochet blanket. I think this will be my next project. Not sure if I’ll make an afghan or scarf with this pattern, but I love. Thanks for being a good teacher. I’ll let you know how it turns out.😁
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial! It's a lovely blanket, and I definitely plan to make a few! All the variations you showed are so attractive that I can't choose just one.
Glenda, This is an awesome pattern! Especially used with the variegated. Gonna definitely make this. I have a variegated yarn that I couldn't figure out a pattern for. Thanks so much for this one ❤️❤️
Howdy Glenda! I loving this stitch pattern! I just don’t understand the solid green row. I’ll watch it again. Thank you so much for sharing the tutorial! Have a blessed day. 💕💕
I liked the first with pastel colors. I could see the one done in black with the bright/ neon colors maybe for a young boy that would love an exciting looking blanket/ afghan !
I was wondering if you could crochet baby hat and scarf crochet waffle Stitch beanie and scarf set so I can learn how to do it so I can make myself a hat
If I wanted to make a baby blanket using this pattern how many stiches would I need chain and also how much yarn would I need of each color if I make it as your sample with all those colors?
Instead of cutting the white yarn at the end of each row, is there a way to just crochet over it on the next row to cover it and carry it up to the row after that?
I really like that pattern. That you may. It looks so much fun but I was wondering can I just do it with four colors and Stellar five or six I guess I can huh? Keep up the good work Debra
I really like this stitch. So pretty. I noticed when you do the dc 2 rows below, you're going thru the single bar from the bottom up. Can you get the same effect if you do thru the single bar from the top to bottom? Will you clarify this for me?
@@CreativeGrandma Thanks for your input - also, how do you deal with all the tails on each end? If you use a border, what stitch. I really like this pattern.
new to crocheting, so sorry if this is a dumb question but how are the edges finished? It seems like it's not straight or something? I think I could do this pattern but I'm unsure how to make edges look finished. Thanks
You can email me the photos of the afghan i would need to see several photos up close and then a larger photo not sure if I can help but can try. email me at designr22@aol.com
Robin, the afghan I am showing I purchased at thrift store, I am only showing the stitch pattern and the colors of yarn that match the yarn. The amount of yarn needed to make an afghan depends on the size afghan you would want to make.
Wow this is beautiful thank you for sharing Glenda, I am relatively new to crocheting can I ask what you do with all those ends? And do you put a border all the way round? best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
Are these double crochets or extended double crochets? I just want to be sure that I’m not doing my stitches wrong, but don’t think it’ll make a huge difference
I want to order from premier, but shipping to canada is the highest shipping I've seen from the USA. A small order of 8 bags of the cotton on sale was going to charge me $74. Perhaps you could point this out when you speak to them. I would love to order.
I have a question about the double stitch. I was taught to wrap my yarn, pull up through two chains on my hook, and repeat. You wrap, pull up through one chain, then wrap again and pull up through two chains and repeat. Looks like a triple chain. Are both styles correct? Or is one more correct? I think in your real life you must’ve been a teacher cause you have that aura about you.
Like it very much thank you so much grandma 💓 God bless you and your family always 💕💕😍
Love that white blue and gray shades!
I love the way u play with yarn colors n experimenting with them. Great work
Thank you so much for sharing this pattern! I was trying another basket weave pattern, but found it so cumbersome and slow to work up, and didn't look all that great. Then stumbled across this! So much easier and more beautiful! I'm working it in the round for a cup cozy. Thanks again.
Hello Glenda very nice samples their all beautiful ❤️❤️ blessings to you and your family
Wow! The one with the black background really pops!
This Afghan is adorable. Will add it to the list of ones I want to create. Thanks so much for the clear instructions and videos.
I love love that pattern I will be doing that. I just love your. Explaining. And showing how to do the pattern you make it look so easy I've been crocheting for. 45 yrs it relaxes me
Gosh! These are all gorgeous colors. I love pastels.
What a beautiful stitch..❤️🌼
I like that! Thank you for doing the samples. I liked them all😍

Beautiful Glenda!
This pattern is very pretty how it is worked up. It would make a pretty Christmas one, with Red, White and Green. Thank you Glenda for always sharing with us. 💜🤗🙏🧶
I'm in love with your voice and clear instructions! Best crochet channel on YT.
Thank-you so very much!
Thank you very much for giving this pattern at no cost!
I’m loving the third sample! It gives the Afghan a country plaid work. It reminds me of The buffalo plaid that is in red and black! Awesome!
The black is beautiful.

I liked the third one the best
This is a great pattern to use with baby items. There are no holes in the pattern so nothing for little fingers to get tangled in. Will definitely make this.

Creative Grandma you are the bomb 😂 Will be making this for sure 🍁🍂👍💗
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial! It's a lovely blanket, and I definitely plan to make a few! All the variations you showed are so attractive that I can't choose just one.
Thankyou for sharing, it’s lovely I’m definitely going to try this , 😊
Really pretty samples
Thank you
This is beautiful! Wow! I will definitely try this 👍
I love this! I saved it in my Creative Grandma play list.
The green row you are working a sc in the front lp of each st across
Love the second sample 👌
It's beautiful! How did you finish off the sides?
I really like the.
Splash pattern
This looks so AMAZING... 😃 Unfortunately I have to save it for later 😥
Love this stitch pattern this will definitely be my next blanket, I’m doing your Xmas wave blanket right now.
You always have the best stitches with the best colors! I couldn’t pick a fav, they all look fabulous. 😻😻😻
I totally agree with you 😊
So cool, I think the first and third ones were my favorites.I’m to old to use black even though it looked pretty
I liked the first with pastel colors. I could see the one done in black with the bright/ neon colors maybe for a young boy that would love an exciting looking blanket/ afghan !
Hi I love your channel... can you please make a video of loopy love blanket ... it’s done by moogly ... I would appreciated...
I was wondering if you could crochet baby hat and scarf crochet waffle Stitch beanie and scarf set so I can learn how to do it so I can make myself a hat
Thank you for being you. This stitch is so adaptable. Would you be able to use a lighter weight yarn? for a Summer weight baby blanket?
I love this Glenda. I also love the samples you provide in the different colors. Would it work with one solid color? It’s beautiful!
Can you do this pattern just using two solid colors
If you were to use a variegated yarn, do you still need to fasten off at the end of each row or can you carry the yarn at the end of those rows?
Would love to know how this one was finished off. Is there a boarder?
If I wanted to make a baby blanket using this pattern how many stiches would I need chain and also how much yarn would I need of each color if I make it as your sample with all those colors?
What did you do to all those ends on the sides? Weave them in, or make an edging?
I want to make this for a queen sized bed. How much yarn would I need. I’m thinking of using red heart
Instead of cutting the white yarn at the end of each row, is there a way to just crochet over it on the next row to cover it and carry it up to the row after that?
Linda it is on the wrong side of the afghan you would have to use two different skeins of white one for every other row then you could carry it up.
Love it! Can't wait to buy and start this beautiful Stitch.! Thank you
I really like that pattern. That you may. It looks so much fun but I was wondering can I just do it with four colors and Stellar five or six I guess I can huh? Keep up the good work Debra

Susan I am not sure I have never worked from the top down always from the bottom up, I would suggest making a sample and see if it looks the same.
@@CreativeGrandma Thanks for your input - also, how do you deal with all the tails on each end? If you use a border, what stitch. I really like this pattern.
Love this one. Thanks. What do u do with the yarn on the ends?
new to crocheting, so sorry if this is a dumb question but how are the edges finished? It seems like it's not straight or something? I think I could do this pattern but I'm unsure how to make edges look finished. Thanks
Very similar to mosaic crochet.
❤
I found a blanket at the thrift store and I'm wondering if you could help me with finding the pattern?? I would really appreciate the help!
You can email me the photos of the afghan i would need to see several photos up close and then a larger photo not sure if I can help but can try. email me at designr22@aol.com
How many skeins of each color did Y ou use?

Kerry, I am so sorry their shipping is so high, not sure how they figure their shipping
I'm not sure. I just thought that with your relationship with them perhaps you could pass along for all us canadians. I love your work.
Couldn't instead of tying off each row Couldn't you carry up the sides and put a border around for a few rows??
Where do you get Premier yarn in person?
Shannon I am not sure which stores sell Premier yarns, I can not find it in my area and order on line
This also how you do mosaic crochet 😺
I have a question about the double stitch. I was taught to wrap my yarn, pull up through two chains on my hook, and repeat. You wrap, pull up through one chain, then wrap again and pull up through two chains and repeat. Looks like a triple chain.
