Hi Glenda I refer a lot of newbies to watch your channel n brag about you n how great of a teacher you are . You are an inspiration to many Crocheter’s xoxo thankyou sooo much
This is that stitch is what I’ve been working on and I’m making a baby blanket for my PL group. I’m doing it and six rows and then I switch colors and I do have a vera gated, a white blue and a yellow. I like the texture of it the way it looks and the way it feels I have used and I’ll hook but I was thinking about making it with a larger hook and I’ve used to DK weight four. I think all of my yarns are Red Heart yarns. I like yours with the peach or the coral, so there’s a incentive to make another .
I love this stitch I made a blanket with this stitch and it came out beautiful so now that I got a request to crochet another baby blanket this is the stitch I chose Thank You for sharing with us
You make it so easy. Going step by step. I have a hard time deciding which project to do. I am new to crocheting and I am left handed but you make it so easy. Keep the videos coming
Ooh I love super easy stitches that make projects look way mor difficult than they actually are! Beautiful and fancy-looking stitch that is perfect for delicate projects! Can’t wait to try it!!! Thanks for this SOTW!!!
This pattern or stitch is so easy but leaves such a beautiful pattern. Thanks for sharing this with us. I so like listening to you, you have such a calming voice and easy going way that you get the stitch out there for everyone to learn. Thanks for your time.
@@CeeceeWhip Hi Chris, I did not use worsted weight yarn. The yarn I used is between a sport weight and a DK weight...too heavy to be sport and too light to be DK. I used an H hook. So, yes, it is a dense stitch. But that's what I wanted because this is a winter scarf made with wool yarn. I think if you use a larger hook (by 2 sizes) than is recommended for your yarn, you will get a less dense stitch which is nice and drapey. I really like the edges of this scarf. It almost looks like a picot along the row-end sides. It's so pretty with lots of texture and it's very easy. Pay attention to the ends and beginnings of the rows because if you do it right, it's really lovely. I hope that helps.
@@ymanajohnson5330 Thank you so much for this feedback. I have plenty of both weight yarns to try this in a blanket. How big I’m not sure since you mentioned the edges look great as is. I can keep going without needing extra finishing. Thanks again👍🏼
Thank you for another wonderful tutorial. I like this stitch very much. I bought up some of that beautiful Premiere DK Batik that they are unfortunately discontinuing. I may try it with this stitch.
Thank you for explaining in your tutorials how to use different stitches to compliment yarns, and vise-versa. Great explanations, and the video is so clear it's hard to get it wrong!
Such a beautiful stitch. I definitely want to make a blanket with this stitch. Thank you for the basic size chart & your stitch of the week's as well, also for the advice of making a folder with them. You are my inspiration CG, cannot thank you enough ❤️ 😁
This is my all time fav stitch for baby blankets. Am working on one now... I’m using that gorgeous Lion Brand Ice Cream Cotton Blend. The texture is perfect...and there are no holes for tiny toes snd fingers to get tangled in... It’s so relaxing.
Thank you for this tutorial! I just used this stitch for a lovely mat for my keurig machine so it will slide easily on my counter. Finished with a SC border. I was impressed by how nicely the mat lays flat and is just the right thickness. (Either due to the stitch or the yarn or both) I used Lily sugar n cream 4 ply worsted 100%cotton in black, about 115 yards for a 7 1/2” x 16” mat.
Wonderful pattern Creative Grandma. Every time I see you release a video on both of your channels I watch them right away! I enjoy your wisdom! Love a whole lot of yarney goodness KEEP UP THE WONDERFUL CONTENT! LOVE YOU CREATIVE GRANDMA!

Can you please explain the difference between the Suzette stitch and the Blanket stitch?
Can I ask why at 6:11 the initial single crochet has a yarn over single crochet two times, while all the rest are one straight through?

Thanks for the charts!!
Hi glenda I love this pattern I would like to know could you tell me for a big blanket for a queen size bed thankyou very much have a nice day 😊
hi like your colours pattern is beautiful 😻💝💝💝💝🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
Hello Glenda
I do single crochet and half double crochet
I am currently making a baby blanket with that same stitch
easy stitch thank you. What is the multiple? and additional chains needed?
Thanks for sharing
Why doesn't mine lay flat? I'm using the recommended hook size for my yarn and I don't have a tight tension.
Beautiful from wales
how many do you chain for a full afghan ?
Thank you. Your tutorials are amazing and easy to follow. I am learning to crochet during lockdown and have no one to teach me so I am very appreciative to people like you who have made these great learning resources.
I was wondering how you change colours in this pattern.
Do you join the new colour in the last single crochet of each row then stitch the two colours tails into the next row?
one sample I changed colors every row with the pink, yellow, blue and white, the other sample was a self striping yarn
@@CreativeGrandma do you have a tutorial on changing colours at the end of a row? Do you crochet the ends in as you go or weave them in at the end?
What do edging do you recommend for this beautiful blanket
I was wondering you knot your yarn on your hook does that make the blanket more secured than a slip knot because I have noticed on a few things I have done where I began it pulled away if I didn't catch it I would of lost my whole afghan so im just asking do you do it for that extra security
Where did you purchase the yarn?
