  • Gloria, who lives in a sheltered housing flat, felt frightened when asked about how she felt about technology. However, when she discovered the potential for technology to enhance her well-being and extend her quality of life, she became interested in trying it out. Gloria now enjoys the convenience of automatic lights that respond to movement in the dark and cherishes her tablet, which enables her to participate in church services remotely.
    These animations are meant to be used by staff and relatives and shown to tenants to try and ease their fears and help them make choices about technology.
    TAPPI Phase 2 is funded by The Dunhill Medical Trust (DMT) and supported by the Housing LIN and the TSA.
    The TAPPI project partners were delighted to be joined by Co-Production Works (Co-Production and Engagement partner) and the Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research (CCHPR) at the University of Cambridge (Evaluation and Shared Learning partner) in delivering TAPPI Phase 2.
