Palestine isn’t just HAMAS, only about 51% of Palestinians wanted HAMAS to run, and it was because Israel has been doing awful things to Palestine for years, like bombing their airports, and colonizing their land. We know we have other parties its just not feasible in a winner takes all election system

In the UK, smaller parties have a bigger role. As they command more influence, the big parties change their agenda to appeal to their voters. Additionally, they've had big roles before. The Lib Dems formed a coalition with the Tories from 2010-2015, and UKIP's influence made the Tories decide on the Brexit referendum.

english people only eat baked beans, (unless its spanish food) Its not 'beans' the generic ingredient brits love its specially canned BAKED beans in tomato sauce and the main purpose of it really is to have a tasty tomato sauce that mixes well with your buttery bread (real butter not american shite) kinda like a bread roll in tomato soup situation, the beans just give you a little bit of protein which was much needed back in the post ww2 days. The beans themselves arent that important.

The only thing I'll pull up: Tories are not for a stronger national defense. They say the words, but do nothing. They talk of patriotism, but fail at every turn to better the military defense. More homeless vets than ever; lowest recruitment ever; faltering investment in military tech. And so on. The military has told them time and again what they needed, but the Tories ignored them and instead said: "What you meant was...we need National Service"?

This election, it seemed that Labour was the one with ex-military among their ranks and the one party promising (means nigh nothing) to address the lackluster investment into the British Military.

During this time the usa sat back and siphoned off any money they could from lend lease and other programs from the british empire unti they entered the war later in 1941. Even india joined the war of their own choice and raised an army of 1.5 million volunteers before the USA ever entered the war. The british rolled tanks through nearly 2000 miles of german bombing, battles and africa desert before the USA ever entered the war, etc In the war only 1/10 'british' people were from the british isles but 7/10 deaths were people from the british isles. Even american warships had british commanders on board, 3/5 pilots in the whole war on the allies side were british etc etc Falling off isnt the same as giving life and limb for glory and freedom.

The 'bringing things up you did 20 years ago' is my experence with British politics.
I had a small friendgroup that was- a bit snobby about politics. Occasionally laughing at things in films then turning and going 'Oh, it's probably not funny to you because you're not into politics but- there's a subtle joke in the way they ate that sandwich that points towards a politician that ate a sandwich in a weird way' (Which... I had seen, the joke just wasn't laugh out loud funny)
At one point, I got fed up- the joke had started up that I was uneducated and dumb because I didn't watch debates or follow anything political. I sighed, went 'Fine, I'll actually try it'
I sat down and watched the whole house of commons debate. I liked the setup, cool frikin mace in the center, a referee dude and like- a ton of people in the stands. I was like 'Oh shit, ok- so there's two speakers that discuss issues, there's a guy that makes sure they stay on topic and the people behind them are there to fact check, bring up new information, maybe some experts on certain sectors. Honestly, I kinda like the setup.
One guy brought up a pretty decent point, something about cost of living rising and peoples wellfare might not cut it so they should increase aid. I was like 'Hm- fair, there's definitely some issues with funding that though- does the other side agree to this or are they arguing it? I wonder if the people in the back are going to be looking into financial budgets and such'
They... changed the subject, suddenly bringing up something totally unrelated, like a low kick. Something like 'You're concerned for the cost of living? What about your own part in that issue? I recall you were the ones that did such and such'
Guy stood there with a smug look as the people behind him all cheered and yelled stuff until the judge guy told them to shutup. Then the other side was almost like 'Maybe we made that decision because you did this that the other' they hollered- rustled papers and someone put a piece of paper on their head and started talking.

Learnt the people behind them were not passing anything forward, they were just there cheering and booing things. The entire thing was the most childish thing I'd ever seen in my life. I tried it a few times, someone once stoll the royal mace and tried to run away- there were weird traditions where you slammed the door in someone's face, nothing seemed to progress because they were so busy trying to win rather then discuss.
I turned it off, rubbed my eyes, and decided I wasn't dumb for not following politics- I was just saving my braincells and avoiding feeling dread for the countries leadership. It just- was not what I expected. I like debate, but you're all running the country together- actually think about eachothers points rather then argue constantly.

You say the UK politics are cooked, but every last one of them sounds more coherent than the acting president of the US.. Not to mention they're probably more trustworthy too, because US politicians are like glorified brand ambassadors that work for corporations...
Don't forget that one of them is pushing for project 2025, a policy that would make the US situation so insane, that pyro would not dare talk about it.
