The Broad Machete bug is pretty simple, actually. Master files (usually the base game and DLCs, but also can include certain mods) can't modify plugins, and the plugins themselves can't modify the base game since the engine by default overwrites conflicting mods with the lowest priority one. As in, the ENTIRE mod. For example, if I installed an unofficial patch that fixes THOUSANDS of issues, including changing the name of an item, and then put a mod below it that changed that same item's name, the lone mod would more than likely prevent the ENTIRETY of that patch from activating. That's why compatibility patches are so popular. So the Broad Machete didn't activate Super Slam because it wasn't included in the list of Super Slam weapons. They couldn't add it since any lower mods that affect Super Slam would overwrite the ENTIRETY of Courier's Stash. The Machete Gladius worked since it's included in the base game. You can't overwrite a Master file, after all. And this issue extends to some other weapons, most notably Cowboy not affecting the Police Pistol.
There is a lot of discussions about if Jason can teleport or not considering how he always seems to disappear and reaper out of nowhere. So fast traveling kinda works with the character.
I think the broad machete has the same issues as some of the other opening Courier's Stash items. Like the Sturdy Caravan shotgun's ability to not register as a shotgun.

Jason actually can and does run considering the Rob Zombie Friday the 13th movie. I know this build is not min maxed or optimized, but if we wanted to incorporate all if not most of the traits and the portrayals of Jason we need to understand that generally at times Jason does not harm animals and in some cases innocents, or who he deems is innocent. People who partake in premarital sex or adultery of some do not escape his wrath though. Jason does not harm children, and even goes out of his way to save a child's life at least on one instance. Despite what you think, Jason is a perceptive and intelligent guy, as intelligent as one can be who is an undead and undying killer can be anyways. My build for this character would be starting out 9 Strength, 5 perception, 9 Endurance, 1 charisma, 1 intelligence, 6 Agility, 9 luck. Focus on getting Melee and unarmed maxed out as soon as you can and see to it you get the implants for perception and agility as soon as possible. Someone can probably tweak this a bit better then I can, but that is what I would go with. People playing on TTW would also want to go and get the Ant Sight injection as fast as possible and if you find you have no perk you need on level up, go for intense training and go agility 7. Since you have low int, melee and unarmed should be your two tag skills and third tag skill could be medicine I guess for a little extra support from stimpacks
You forgot to have an old lady's head in a room where it won't despawn. Had it be his mother's head. This is still the best God damn series I've ever fucking seen. Godspeed, Nerbit.
Now that I think about it, a Voorhees run in fallout 4 would actually work a bit “better” because of the blitz perk which basically makes you teleport to people in VATS melee. But that would turn the vid into a VATS run, which probably won’t be fun.
Just imagine seeing a man with a hockey mask and a jumpsuit tearing through the large, explosives wielding robots with a machete. That image is both absolutely hilarious and terrifying at the same time
There's a mod I've always used for Tale of Two Wastelands called "Limitless Stats". It allows you to raise Skills beyond 100 and SPECIAL stats above 10, and uses custom Perks to make sure those higher values still have an effect on gameplay when the normal system doesn't know what to do. (For example, once Strength goes beyond the normal limit, a Perk increases damage roughly the same amount that your higher stat would, using the new higher number to calculate the amount) It also edits the Intense Training Perk to be able to be taken as many times as you want. Rather than using it to surpass the normal level and stat cap, it seems it could be used for some unique challenge runs, if you restrict yourself to only ever taking Intense Training and using it to boost a single SPECIAL stat, you could try things like "Can You Beat Fallout: New Vegas Only Boosting Strength?" See what happens when every other practical ability is as low as possible, and dumping every single boost into a single aspect of a character. I'd imagine it would lead to some rather ridiculous character builds, with a Strength-based character eventually slapping enemies over the horizon, or an Agility-based character able to clear all of Hoover Dam in a single extended VATS round while being near-useless outside of VATS.
I’ve been wanting to see you beat fallout as Doom Slayer, double barrel shotgun, minigun, ripper, and you have to kill everyone who isn’t human. Can anyone think of anything else

I’m currently doing a Patrick Bateman run of new Vegas but you just gave me an idea for my next melee focused run. Cheers
Not gonna lie, I wanna see a Michael Myers Fallout 4 run.
You forgot to have an old lady's head in a room where it won't despawn. Had it be his mother's head. This is still the best God damn series I've ever fucking seen. Godspeed, Nerbit.
Jason Voorhees is oddly fitting considering the fact that you are also immortal because *ahem* plot *ahem* armor *ahem*
I am just imagining people being surprised at the fact that Jason won’t be walking around as a diplomat
Fallout New Vegas as Freddy Krueger
-Deathclaw/Yao Guai gauntlet
-Kill all sleeping characters
And that's all I got unfortunately
That prospector really did just say “understandable have a nice day” when you whipped out that machete
This is the absolute best way to do a melee build in Fallout!
Fun fact when Jason is teleporting he is actually running
This has to be the coolest "can you beat" I have seen!
Jason getting implants is canon thanks to Jason X.
Fun fact in a few of the friday the 13th movies jason has used guns like revolvers and once a shotgun Although he is a terrible shot with them
Well now you got to do Freddy, so only the Sweater Vest, Hat, the Bladed Gauntlet, also the Sandman perk
"My good deeds have caught up with me" is the best way to respond to a legion assassin
That image is both absolutely hilarious and terrifying at the same time
I love how the cone was covering up the mine at 3:20 😂😂
@11:48 the dealer takes his job way to seriously cause aint no way 😂😂
Well you know what they always say, you can't make an Omertlette without breaking a few Omertas.
Legate: "A warrior.. Our battle will -"
Jason: *proceeds to kick one of his shins in as he stabs through his mask, killing him instantly*
Playing fallout 4 as agent 47 could be fun. Bald, suit, and the deliverer as your weapon. Emphasis on sneaking and assassinating people
There's a mod I've always used for Tale of Two Wastelands called "Limitless Stats".
Finally my boy Jason getting the respect he deserves.
Watching Nerbit's Metal Gear marathon has made me enjoy the channel alot more, and I already really enjoyed it before watching that lol
I’ve been wanting to see you beat fallout as Doom Slayer, double barrel shotgun, minigun, ripper, and you have to kill everyone who isn’t human.
Can anyone think of anything else
Jason is one of my favorite movie villains so I'm really happy you made this video
Has anyone ever told you that you have a very soothing voice? I mean, I truly love your content, as you're really funny and seeing you work out how to tackle each challenge is always fun, but between your accent and your somewhat monotone voice, it's very calming. Like, if I ever want to take a nap on the couch, I pull up a playlist of your videos and barring any sudden explosions, it lulls me to sleep pretty effectively.
I... am not sure where I'm going with this. Most likely, this may seem either insulting, creepy, or both. So... yeah! Stay awesome, my dude! ^_^
18:48 the ncr trooper has antlers for hands
I know that I'm a day late and a dollar short, but you should try to see if you can beat Vegas as Anton chigurh.
Jason does run, however it’s in the remake back in 2009 so technically this run is still somewhat true to character
12:22 jason addicted to jet 😮
Cut to "fixer has worn off"
Another great one, excited to see what the longer project brings us the week after next
I love the adorableness of someone who watches zero slasher films guessing what the character is like through cultural osmosis alone XD
For this run, it might have been a good idea to raid the Sunset Sasparilla factory and go to Big Mountain for the cybernetics perks you get from getting your organs back
that explosion scared the shit out of me.. thank you. Good video lol
"Howdy" *Jason menacingly, and slowly taking out his machete* "oh; okay. bye then" *Poof*
Peaked my curiosity for the next video. Very exciting for a video you've been exciting for!
the best part of every new vegas video is the part the Omertas go visit their great-grandparents
Jason with 1 Agility? Dude can keep up with someone who is in full sprint while just walking after them, and still get ahead of them.
In the ‘09 movie, Jason actually fuckin SPRINTS so him being able to casually jog isn’t too out of the ordinary!
I was today years old when I learned that you can hold down the interact button to continually drink water. Thanks, Nerbit.
