Jesus Christ died for your sins on the cross. Repent and believe in him or you will be separated from God The Father for all eternity and face hell forever, never ending.
Nobody is going to see this, but I saw Cody's first "Cody Trains" video in January and it inspired me to sign myself up for a 10k. I have never ran over 1.5 miles in my life and I just ran 3.75 miles yesterday in under 35 minutes. I run my race April 1st and, to be honest, I would have never ran this ran if I never saw this channel. Last year Cody inspired my to start working on my UA-cam channel and take it seriously. In 2023 I will be monetized on UA-cam and run my first race ever thanks to Cody. Didn't mean to suck you off, but just wanted to show some appreciation. You've inspired me in more ways than you know. Thanks man ✊
Congrats on the wedding Cody! From watching you as a frat bro on Vine, to a community commentator on UA-cam, and now a middle aged man trying to run far I guess still on UA-cam but now hitched, we have seen you grow! *edit* also in regards to knee pains look to doing some light resistance work for your glutes and quads to make sure they are activating properly. Icing is largely agreed upon to be an outdated way of treatment as your body is inflamed for a reason, trying to heal. Best of luck!

Natural peanut butter tip: after you stir the oil in, store the peanut butter upside down in the fridge! It won’t separate again and isn’t ridiculously runny. Also, congrats to Kelsey and her husband on the wedding 🫶
Also, put only one thingy on your hand mixer, and use that to mix the peanut butter, then store in fridge. I've never had to store it upside down if I've mixed and fridged it after.

Jesus Christ died for your sins on the cross. Repent and believe in him or you will be separated from God The Father for all eternity and face hell forever, never ending.
Hey Cody! Ex swimmer here, the point of your coach changing your stroke is to make it more efficient and allow you to properly rotate and reach out as far as you can before preforming your next stroke. If you’re feeling pain you may be under or over rotating or putting your elbow in a compromised position
Congratulations to Kelsey on her marriage! She looked absolutely stunning in the pics you shared. And thanks for the motivation, I had cancer at 31 in 2021, been trying to focus on my health and fitness since then. Just heard back today on another biopsy, and I’m still cancer free so I’m back to training again! #energyiseverything
"If I listened to my body all the time I'd never train." Yup that's exactly how I feel. While I think it's great that we've moved away from the "No Pain, no Gain" mindset of yesteryear, it feels like we're going too far in the other direction. Seems like everyone is hammering down "REST!!!" far too often now, as if everyone is on the brink of overtraining. The body is incredibly adaptive. Obviously, rest is important. But if you want to see your fitness improve above a snails pace, you DO have to push yourself when you can. There has been countless times where I've woken up achy and a little sore, but working out/running on that day made me feel way better. You just gotta have self awareness. Rest hard, train hard.
Rotate your hips out of the way when you pull through on your swim stroke and keep a consistent kick. Your rhythm change is okay but it’ll really hurt your shoulders if your body stays flat on the surface of the water. It’ll also help to keep your finger tips down and elbow high especially at the start of your pull.🏊🏼♀️
As a swimmer - the point of keeping your hand up front is to keep you streamlined for longer and help you glide more - so yea, more efficient! You'll get the hang of it.
Cody, I’ve been in denial and depression since being diagnosed with two chronic illnesses, pair this with an abusive relationship (I’m now out of 🙏) happening at the same time, and I really let myself go. I can’t even keep up with you for 15 mins when it comes to your working out and training, but you’ve inspired me to get off my butt, stop feeling sorry for myself and allowing myself to invest in myself once again. Just wanted to thank you so much for bringing us those quality vlogs we all love, but having it based around working out. You’re truly an inspiration.
Swimmer here! The point of that style of swimming is for your momentum and it is proper technique for freestyle. Once you get the hang of it you'll definitely drop time and you'll cover more ground during your laps. Your muscles will adjust too!
^^^well said here, as someone who struggled to make sure my legs were the "motor" of my freestyle and relied too much on my upper body for a long time, let the timing come more naturally as you continue to get used to it. Use your arms to match the pace your legs are setting with your kicks is a good way to think about it, and instead of worrying about getting your arm back around from a timing standpoint, use it as more of a glide and follow through to accentuate your strokes and get maximum distance for your movements
Swim head here, your coach is trying to teach you catch-up freestyle. Although I wouldn't recommend that style of swimming in an open water setting (especially not an Iron Man race) it's a great drill in the pool for lengthening your stroke and working on having a glide. Hips sinking is always a sign of either not enough kicking or head position. Your hips naturally drop when you lift your head up so maybe experiment with head position.
Swimmer here! been swimming for 12 years+ and about to go to college in the fall. But the point of the change in stroke I believe is to focus on your distance per stroke (dps). This type of stroke is popular among the longer distance events where as the other stroke is better better for shorter and faster pace swims. I think the new stoke will help save you energy in the long run and will get you into a better groove throughout your race. It'll take some time to get used to but you can get through it! GOOD LUCK CODY CHOO CHOOO!

Cody, thanks for being so inspiring! I have never really ran any further than 5k and never consistently, but you have encouraged me to enter my cities half marathon and I'm currently deep into my training. The race is in 8 weeks and I'm already seeing them beginner gains, and your videos are really helping me stay motivated! This series always gets me back in that gym. Thank you man and congrats on how much you have accomplished with your training! 🙏🏼
Congrats Cody and Kelsey!!! Cody, this new channel has been a huge motivation for me! I'm not a runner, but I've decided to start training. A half marathon is the goal! Thank you for making training funny & relatable. You're the best!
I listened to your last video’s “monologue” to start my day before my first job interview this morning 😊 Your other videos are inspiring, but the last one especially “resignated” with me. Now I’m gonna run 🏃♀️ thank you! Congratulations Cody & Kelsey! - love a circler & a choochie

You’re channel is a huge inspiration for me being only 16. I would like to do an Ironman when I’m 18!
I am a swimmer and a yoga girl, I have ALWAYS hated running. But honestly, these videos make me wanna try it! I feel like it's scary, but I probably could do it, since I am already doing a lot of sport. Thank you, out of all your projects, I love this channel the most!

The catch up drill helps to make sure your strokes are complete.
Make sure that your kick is hard to keep your legs from sinking.
This commenter is correct and I’ll add, I’m not sure if your coach intended you to always swim with that tempo because it’s typically only used as a drill. The typical tempo is starting your catch AS the opposite arm/hand passes your armpit.
