US-129/Tail of the Dragon Full 11 Mile Ride On a 2023 Harley Davidson Pan America

Tail of the Dragon is a stretch of US-129 that traverses Deals Gap and connects Tennessee and North Carolina. It has become a famous stretch of road for motorcyclists and auto enthusiast because of its 318 curves in that 11 mile stretch. It can be a fun ride, but can also be dangerous because other riders and drivers do not always use the best judgement and crashes are very common. the best times to go are usually early mornings during the week as traffic flow is diminished. This video was from a recent road trip that I took to Agusta Georgia, and rode through the Smoky Mountains on my return trip home.

Nice video. It doesn't look all that fun. 30 mph speed limit makes it dangerous to go fast due to slow vehicles and not many places to pass.
