thank you LT - i'm revisiting your older FM3 vids (since i've expanded my FAS arsenal to include the FM3 Turbo), and am needing all of the LAYOUT functions - btw, i'm fiddling with which layout to have as my default/start-up.... less options = MORE creativity! Awesome as always!
@@G66eu Um, not sure I was clear: for instance I want to have my flanger effect be momentary and all the other effects be latching. It sounds like you're talking control switches -- how do we make effects momentary?
Hello Leon, can you point me in the direction for some much-needed help? I just bought the FM three and the FC6. They are connected but I’m having trouble with understanding the layouts. For instance, I want the three switches on the FM3 to control three different scenes. Then on the FC six I would like to have the first two switches for separate FX then the third switch for a different scene and then on the top row of the FC six I would like seven and eight to control separate blocks or affects and finally the ninth switch to control the tuner. Every time I assign things in the layout section it reverts back to something different. I have read the manual and still don’t get it I have watched a lot of your videos and others and still don’t get it. Thanks for your time and continued rocking!
Also so lost like how do you switch presets in a single switch and not having to go into master layout every time ? Or can you use two different amps in a preset ? Clean amp and a dirty amp ? It only lets me select one amp per preset
so sometimes I am trying to access either scenes or presets, etc. by holding the buttons...but with a certain press and hold, I think it's the far right footswitch, suddenly all my scribble scripts are blank and no matter what I do I can't get back to where i want to be...just now it happened again, and as I was online trying to learn what happened, at some time I wasn't watching the fm3, it went back to the proper screens...and I can't make it do it again...scratching my head
Great Video with good explaination what the pedals are doing and how to set them up. My problem is, although my English is not bad, but as a german native my English seems to be not good enough to follow every explained detail from Leon as fast as nessesary. Leons English is very clean, perfect and very good and understandble. Its not up to him, its up to me.
all that doesn't look very practical for live usage to me... way too much button presses, guess it really needs to be midi controlled... also, that tiny stuff on the screen isn't helpful live, is there a way to see in big what preset/scene ist selected?
I am lost on 1:35 and feel that I'd rather spend money on mesa mark v 90 and spend time on writing and practicing music rather than sinking into this digital hell of obsolete devices.
Playing doesn’t explain how the virtual switches and layer changing works. He’s not demoing the FM3 sounds…just technical stuff, so I’m fine with all the talking :).
I must have watched this video three times at this point. I get pretty lost in the options of this and your explanation helps so much

Much appreciated as always mate!
Just got mine. Literally nothing this beautiful piece of art cannot do
I FINALLY understand the role and functionality of per-presets now. THANKS.
Very understandable explaination of the subject. Thank you ! Will take this Video as a reference when i get my FM3. I am waiting for it.
Thanks for this ! Thumbs Up² ! It's a pity that I can't like this video every time I watch it.
I'm so lost, but thanks for doing this tutorial. Hoping it will start to make sense soon as I familiarize myself with the FM3.
Perfect Leon, this explains so much. Thank you for all your hard work.
Just got mine today. I love it
Amazing video, so useful!!! Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks Todd, this should help.
great work~!!!! It helped me a lot. Thank you.
Hi Leon, nice video! Can you please explain, how I can implement the 4 additional switches to the FC 12 so I can use them for Tuner and Filter etc.?
I needed this videos. Wow, those strings looks huge! What gauge are those? 😊
awesome!!!
Awesome Leon! Do you know if you can choose between momentary/latching switch for a single effect?
You can assign your control switches to either latching or momentary - I usually leave 1-3 as latching and 4-6 momentary

in the effects layout can one button turn on multiple effects?

Leon what is your username. Wondering if there is any reason aside from preference to place delays/modulation after cab.
2112 on Axechange.
It makes stereo imaging easier to manage running fx like this.

I really admire you for working to assimilate that this in your non-native language.

Anyone here still lost 😮 like me?
