Dam awesome, i normally listen to you through my sound bar on my tv, which is awesome, man just had this track coming through my studio monitors, what a sound and tone, blown away thank you, have a blessed day
Hey john, thanks just got the FM3 before Christmas,,your tips really help getting into the fractal. Cool stuff,,,,learning curve,,,all is well,,,.Thanks- RJ.
Awesome video! Just a suggestion, it might be better to do this in the Per-Preset Layout instead of Scenes Layout. Doing it in SL will change it for all presets in the FM3, not just this one. So, if there are presets where you don’t want this function while using scenes, it’ll still happen because you changed it in the SL. Not sure if this is helpful or not, just wanted to throw it out there!
You can kind of do the toggling between different snapshots on the helix. You can do it in Command Centre, with the Press/Hold function when setting up snapshots on Stomp mode
Hi John, great work. Still a bit confused with 1 thing. Let's say you have Scene 1 (primary) and Scene 2 (alt) on the first footswitch and Scene 3 (primary) and 4 (alt) in the 2nd. If you use the 2nd or 3rd footswitches and then press footswitch 1 would it always change to Scene 1? Are these 3 core tones and the 3 alternatives are only selectable if you click twice in the same footswitch or is it possible to go from let's say Scene 1 to the alt from footswitch 2 (Scene 4) with one foot press?
3 buttons are enough for 99% of gigs. But we live in a time of excess so everyone needs a dedicated switch for when you kick in the arpegiator with 3 delays and synth at the epic ending of your live solo at Carnegie Hall....
That intro was a lot of fun. A pleasant little change up from the usual jam.
Simply the.....best

Cheers! I’ve been playing with my FM3 for about two months now and I didn’t realize I could do this

Thanks for showing how to do all this on the Unit itself.

Great video, I just got one of these for Christmas for gigging
I really enjoyed the intro and helpful tutorial in almost equal amounts!
awesome playing as always
Yay, FM3 practicalities! Cheers, D
That was informative and as always I enjoyed the playing as well.
Awesome BT 👏👏👏
I agree!
Who doesn't love a bit of Tina
Sounds so good! Question what kind of stand is that you have the FM3 on looking for something just like that! :)

Yeh kind of - there isn't any real visual cue as to where you're going to be heading though which is a bit tricky. In theory this could change!

I wonder about the same thing ? Does it recall the last thing you switched on any given footswitch like on a JVM footswitch for instance.
very useful clip! thanks man

Very cool, I will give it a go. Nice 👍
Now i get it!
This is why I bought a Quad Cortex. Programming my FM3 gave me a headache..lol
would hit like twice if I could for that 80s jam at the end. ;)
Very helpful....thank you.
Simply the "Beast" jejeje.
amazing
Thnx Very useful God bless you
Johnnathan, u use 10-46 strings on 25,5" guitar?
doesnt that mean youll have to press stuff twice if you want to go say rhythm to clean delay?
*tap dances*
does the out come from fm3 fx send to interface?
Sounds awesome. What scales are you playing?
Must be imperial, not metric, what with Brexit. Pounds and ounces, rather than kilograms and grams
G major!
Well hell, I bought you three cups of coffee, then tried to download your FM3 preset to no avail. Could you email them to me? Much appreciated!
Hey Markham! I believe I've emailed these to you now?
