Danielson comes across so well in these settings. He's smart, he's humble without being insincere, he gives well thought out answers. It's really enjoyable to listen to him in this environment.

And that is exaclty why the ratings are tanking. AEW is only focusing on its niche audience instead of trying to grow and expand. They got Mark Henry and Big Show there but rather hire Nick Gage and Warhorse in showcase matches lol. A company that has Orange Cassidy as one of its most dominant champions is one step away from Chikara.

Bryan Danielson is a consummate professional. Whether he is playing the role of a babyface or a heel he is always respected by the fans because of the way he carries himself not just in the ring but outside of it. He’s one of the few wrestlers I can say this statement about. If you have something bad to say about him then you’re the one with the problem but I have never heard anyone say anything bad about Danielson in or out of the ring.

My disappointment with these cards is in the title matches. They can be some of the greatest matches (Kenny -Osprey), but they’re kind of predictable. A NJPW person isn’t going to beat an AEW Champion. An AEW star that has a NJPW belt can change hands, and that makes things interesting, but it always seems to be Omega that’s holding said belt. I would love to have seen some AEW champs (or even ROH) lose their belts to NJPW wrestlers.

People cry about that on AEW yet who has had the belt the longest past few years 1 guy in another company. No one bats a eye. Th tag belts there changed 2 times past what year and half. Come on stop saying AEW is predictable when MOST matches are predictable in all companies. Then in same breath haters cry how the AEW Belt bounces around TOO MUCH. like wth Its to predictable to Changes to much.. Fickle fake fans are what hurt this biz.

It's a vanity affair for Tony. That's why he sits there with each wrestler.

First it helps AEW to build an understanding with the media without having to pay them to do it.
Second it helps the wrestlers to get over with the public. Gone are the days of kfab. We know its a show like actors on tv.
Third things brought up in these media scrums have actually led to future angles in the ring.
It might not be your cup of tea but it works for a lot of people. NJPW was the first I saw to do it. AEW uses them as soon as they started up. Now WWE is doing it more and more.

Sad that Bryan was injured during the fight cuz I'm sure the fight was supposed to last way longer and be much better. It just made Okada look bad, being defeated by an one-arm-Danielson in a hurry finish... I hope there'll be a rematch.
