I'm hoping Hyundai will soon launch the Sonata in India in instead of the Elantra. Yes, this is pretty much the same as Verna, but Sonata looks way better.
Really helpful video for my current car search! I'm totally new to Hyundai so I appreciate the detailed reviews you guys give. Do you happen to know if all of the trims have the wireless charging for your phone and the android auto-connect?
Sonata SEL Convenience OTD $33.2k vs Elantra Limited $31.6k . What's your thought between these two options for someone who really likes tech and bells and whistles and likes a comfortable ride? Thank you!
The Elantra Hybrid Limited gets to that price but the standard Elantra Limited is around $28k. If you are still comparing the Elantra Hybrid Limited to this one, I would probably pick the Elantra. I don't think you can go wrong with either though.
@@CarsMadeSimple That was factoring in all taxes and fees and the $500 add-ons like cargo net etc on the sticker price. So the non hybrid Elantra Limited OTD ends up at that price for me
i would pick elantra hybrid limited for ambient light and other limited only features unless you are absolutely love with sonata new look. I am in same boat, and I am still thinking about it too. I want like elantra interior with sonata exterior haha
@@justgaming6245 well because you say SEL. Sel doesn't have features that only available in limited cars. I would take Sonata hybrid limited but it is not in my budget.
A seal trip, the 2024 inline. Does not have rear AC ports very disappointing. That's okay. You can get the Vin number off a limited model then order the oem limited parts and put them on the N line, and they work.!!!
@CarsMadeSimple well I don't have the 2025 N Line but I do have the 24. So I'm gonna order parts from a Limited so I to will have it on my 24. It's not hard to do, a very easy install just have to switch out back of console.
Why did some of their cars not have the chipped key immobilizer so all the kids from the hood can steal them? Also what was the cause of some Hyundai cars catching fire whilst being driven? A main bearing issue? How is that possible? Was it the main crank bearing in the engine or was it caused by a broken fuel line or fuel distributor under the hood?
You should have spent more time on the transmission being on the wheel. I haven't seen that in decades and I think you should have made a bigger deal about that. Plus, the "new" mileage/gas screen is just stupid. Did Hyundai really need to reinvent the wheel? Dumb. AND, I am a Hyundai owner.
F'in love my 24' Sonata! Feels like a new 7 series on a budget!

what does the left screen cluster look like if you dont get the convenience package and you go for the AWD instead?
I have the same 2021 SEL with Convenience which comes with homelink and rear ac vents. I'm disappointed that the 2024 does not have these.
Yeah it is a bummer. The Limited Hybrid still has them but that is also much more expensive.
Love my 2024 sonata convenience coming from the 2022 that I got in 2021. More bang for your buck
Cool video man. You should connect the bluetooth or play some audio so we can hear the info-tainment system
I don’t think we should have to pay destination charges. They should take that off the price.

Wireless Android Auto on all but wireless charging is on SEL Convenience or higher.
@@CarsMadeSimple gotcha, thank you!
I just leased this and love it.

They are full cloth

Hyundai sent an OTA software update to fix that
@user-bq5cs5oe5x was faulty fuel rack that caused the fires in hyundai. They were not secured with proper bolts and became loose thus creating havoc

This version of Sonata will be the slowest selling Sonata in Hyundai history. It has way too many dumbass features and design flaws
I test drove one yesterday, I found it to be boring.
leather should be std on this trim. very disappointing.
also i think all the tech is a distraction from the actual driving.
This convenience package really is disappointing.
It is a decent chunk of money for the features but I think the biggest disappointment is the lack of AWD for this trim.
I own this car and the convenience package is fine 🤦🏽
does it have ambient lighting ?
@@theg0att8 Ambient lighting is found on N-Line and Limited Hybrid.
Doesn’t convenience package include led interior lights. Is it different from ambient lights?
