2004 Hyundai Sonata SEL I have been driving Hyundai Sonata Limited's since 2009 and loved them. I just purchased a 2024 Sonata SEL (without the convenience package). I love the look and feel. It took a little getting used to with the gear paddle shifter and placement of some of the controls. It takes a while to learn all the programming options. The one issue I have is that you cannot see/read the cluster gauge between the speedometer and Tachometer in daylight, even when it is set to maximum brightness.. The cluster gauge has the odometer, daily and accumulated trip information, tire pressure warnings, and a bunch of other warnings. It displays speed limits and if you are approaching a Stop sign. It also displays if cruise control is engaged and which gear you are in. You can read the cluster gauge when it is very overcast and at night. I have contacted the dealer and Hyundai America and was told there is nothing they can, or will, do. I would like to know if anyone else has this model and has the same experience. If you buy the Convenience package for an additional $3000, you get a different display that doesn't have the problem. I don’t feel the upcharge is worth it. I don’t need a Sunroof or Navigation System and the few extras included. The new FOB is considerably bigger than the old one. It doesn’t house the mechanical key which is now supplied separately. I don’t like it. It is an extra thing to carry on my key chain If you are planning on buying the 2024 Sonata SEL, you should test drive the models with and without a convenience package when it is bright outside.
I think the SEL price tag is great but the convenience is too much of an upcharge for only like 3 new features. It looks great. The new fob is pretty cool.
I just got a 36 month lease with $0 down at $348 per month vs 299 per month without the convenience. I think both prices were pretty rock bottom. I did a lot of research and used ChatGpt, lol. If anyone has gotten better, lmk.
Hi. I already got the beautiful 2024 Sonata SEL without convenience package and I'm fascinated with all standard features this MARVELOUS car has. Also I'm impressed with front and rear changes; they made this car extremely beautiful, modern and elegant. Thanks, Hyundai, for improving the honorable Sonata. Thanks. 💚💚💚
Would this be a good car for a 21 year old to lease? I work full time and my commute is about 15 minutes, but I currently drive a 2014 Honda and need an upgrade.
Most likely a three month trial. At least that’s what my son got on his 24 ELANTRA. Good thing for 24 is that blue link now lasts for the life of the original owner rather than just three years.
Nice review and you really helped me out. I just bought a 2024 Sonata N Line and it doesn't have a spare tire. I see the jack has an oddly shaped crown to it so now I know what to look for. I don't think that 16" spare will clear my brakes though.
Its HUN-DAY not HUN-DIE. You're making me nuts constantly calling it Hun-die. There was so much more you could have mentiond other than saying what it was. I love my new Sonata but just looking to learn more.

Appreciate the knowledge! I believe this will be of help to others. Always good to have another perspective.

Been watching quite a few vehicle videos as of late, like the quality of your video. Raiti's Rides videos are the best. 👌
Thank you! Means a lot only being about 1.5years in. Thank you!

If you check the MSRP sticker in the video, it will state if it has it.
Ok thanks

Sorry 😅….
I’ll stick with my Lexus
I hear ya… Lexus is a very good car.
No rear A/C
Yea…
Garbage and not safe for rear passengers
Why?
Car is hideous and made of cheap materials.
Others like it. I guess it’s just preference
the exterior def makes up for it looks bad a$$
