He Never was it a Full season Long, apart from 2001 were it was close but in a few races he was for sure a rival🤨☝🏼
@TheWeeaboo
Yeah, McLaren had 2 modes back then: extremely good (potentially championship winning) or a complete mess. Oh, and those Mercedes engines that just loved to explode every second race in some seasons. Sigh, Raikkonen deserved 2003 and 2005. If only McLaren Mercedes West managed to produce something along the lines of their 98 or 99 challengers...
@@wwemasterchief 2001 schumacher won the championship in budapest with 4 race to go that means that he had more than 40 points lead after little bit more than season halftime thats not close to me
What a savage move to print the picture!
Coulthard wasn't really MSC's rival tho...
Well, not for the title but both had very polemic battles, look at France 2000, they hated each other
DC got 2nd in 2001 behind Michael.
I had a chance to meet David Coulthard in Brazil at the airport this past year after the Brazil GP
Alonso must be doing one
That incident at mangy cours - I remember one of the commentators (was it Murray or Martin?) claiming something along the lines of "he's just checking the wind direction!" As David held his middle finger up out of his cockpit!
