Johnychan uncle, Leelu aunty and family are our family friends and mentors in our life. A very devout Nazrani family from Pala. They have preserved the family home for future generations to see and cherish. Hope these videos are useful to shed light on early Nazrani traditions of families from Pala. They are a very down to earth and humble family. Anyone is always welcome there. It would be an amazing experience. Highly recommend destination if you are visiting Kottayam.
As for our family, we visited them on weekends at least twice every month. It was joy spending time and talking to them about a variety of topics. I still cherish those moments. I got a lot of insight and understanding about various matters from my discussions with Johnychan uncle and Leelu aunty. ❤

Many Olden homes had all these items. As our home is only built 8o back we didn't have Ara. But we a lot of old items which were stolen after we children left home. . My uncle's home there was a Bible which was supposed to be printed in a stone printer, also lost . We had a bronze vessel used for peeing used for elders. Now I see only see aama petti where my grand mother used to keep gold and her purse woven using very fine leaves, my mom's and my grand mother's cloth boxes . But in puthengadi my brother's daughter in law's home 300 yrs old . Ancheril. Even thazthangadi many old homes are there. Our maternal grand father's home there was a sword snd shield given by travancore king which was taken away to US by one cousin. But many people demolishing old houses and made new homes, now crying for lost glory. These houses used to be very cool
