Sorry about the audio which starts clicking for some reason. Not sure if there's a problem with the Rodecaster Pro or with Adobe Audition

Shukriya.
Bro, I came here for the mic stand review but I stayed because of the overall lighting setup and grading of the video, it's amazing! . Great job on the review though! :D
Thanks! This one did turn out well 😅 (they don't always...)
I agree. It looks really good!
right?!
This video was really helpful. Bro I’m beyond pissed UA-cam needs to push your content. This is A1 content. Wishing you the best of luck in 2022. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! Just gotta keep putting stuff out there until I figure what works
A video I did not think I needed to see, turns out to be exactly what I needed to see, Thanks so much!
this is a lovely video. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise.
Subscribed :)
would love a video on your lighting setup too!
Thanks for the sub!
You are fun to watch, besides informative; and I loved at the end, when you shook your head about the fascinating topics coming up, hahahhaa
That akg 214 sounds so good and clear
Thank you for the video. I appreciate the great quality, lighting, sound and set. I will be getting the articulating mic boom arm thingamajig...
Thank you! Good luck with your thingamajig. I hope you like it
Great call out on cable length. Thank you for the heads up.
Thank you this was so helpful, now I know what I'm going to get :)
it's really sad to see that great efforts you are putting in your channel and only 1.46k subscribers, comon guys share that channel. the guy needs our support.

table clamp + goosearm → can be low price, sturdy and versatile and not taking up much space...
Very helpful, thanks for the video!
No problem. Glad it was helpful
Very useful. Thank you!
Great video!
Great info and great video dude! Love the setup too!!
Hey thank you. I like the vibe of your podcast and the setup as well
Great video, thank you!
very good video... you should have had more subscribers.
Maybe one day!
Thanks this was really helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
You really just dropped "or cats, which are like furry kids" that nonchalantly. Subscribed.
Exellent, best video on youtube for mic stands, informative, clear and helpful. Thank you. I just got a question about the articulating mic boom arm, does typing on a computer on a disk interfere with audio too?
Thank you! The boom arm should do a pretty good job of damping any sound and vibrations from the desk getting into the mic. In my experience, it's never been an issue
Thanks!
THANKS A LOT
Did you notice that your shotgun microphone is having pops and clicks ? There's a problem with audio after you changed to it and to the Shure SM7B. Kind of noises like pops. 😮😮😮
Yeah, I can’t remember what the issue was, something with the interface. Just hoping no one would listen in a professional audio studio with amazing headphones 😅
Bro. How do you edit your audio. So clear and soft
I think that's just my voice because I definitely didn't (don't) know what I'm doing when it comes to audio processing... But thank you!
Do you have a recommendation for a floor microphone tripod stand that would work with a heavy mic like the SM7B/podmic?
Awesome video btw, exactly what I wanted to see.
The only such stand that I have used is the Pyle stand I talked about in the video. It will work, but it's struggling a bit. I wish I could point toward a more robust stand but I don't really know a specific model to recommend. Check out the Audio Hotline channel. He's used floor stand for a lot of his stuff
Hey quick question do you think it is better to to use the shure mic and gator are when doing UA-cam videos like pc builds or product reviews?? Or do you think Lavalier Rhode mics or shotgun mics on out of Frame boom arms or shotgun microphones on a a73 Sony camera is better or a more professional look is better?? Or do you think you would need both of two different styles for different scenarios like product reviews videos vs podcast or gaming and streaming and maybe tutorial videos or even educational videos oh yeah and pc building videos I ask because I plan on building one this upcoming week and I need to fine this information out ASAP any suggestions please and thank you ???
I thought you said this is a quick question 😬
If you can only get one, I’d say either a boom mic/shotgun (out of frame) or a lav would be the most flexible. They let you be more mobile, especially the lav obviously. And if you want to stream or record some VOs at your desk, you can move the shotgun in closer and still get a wonderful sound
I was struggling to clamp my boom arm as well because my desk is too thick, however my table and desk real estate is too limited ,so rode wireless go then
Lol. I use the Wireless Go sometimes, too. It’s just convenient
Something I've been wondering are the lengths of the Proline desktop boom arm when it's boomed out max vs overall length. Many sites that sell similar brands of desktop boom stands (Gator, Auray, On-Stage), have the arm measurements varying from 19.5", 18.5", to 16". I never know if they're referring to the overall length, or the maximum length the arm can get boomed out to (like if 19.5" is overall and 16" is max boomed). Also not sure if perhaps different brands make their arms at varying lengths to begin with.
The length of the arm itself on the Proline is 16". If you measure from the center post, the arm will boom out about 11". But keep in mind, you'll want the boom arm to be oriented over the long end of the base so that it is stable and the boom only extends about 6" past the end of the base.
I hope that helps!
Thanks for the video. I noticed you have used a Blue Yeti mic. I'm liking the Rode Podmic or Shure SM7B .. do you think it's worth switching to either one of these over the Blue Yeti .... I use the mic for streaming and recording gameplay
I'd say if you're happy with the sound and your viewers/listeners are happy with your streams then there's no reason to switch. I think the Yeti sounds great and if I didn't make microphone comparison videos, I'd still be rocking the Yeti, too
@@PhillipRPeck Sometimes you need another opinion to avoid spending money on unnecessary upgrades. Thanks Man
What’s the name of the second stand your reviewed. I’m fusing to find it??
I think it's just Proline. I got it at a Guitar Center and it might be a brand that they sell. Gator Frameworks makes somthing very similar called the Gator Frameworks GFW-MIC-0821
I don’t have a gaming desk & instead of a wooden desk but that doesn’t have a lip to connect my boom arm properly so I’m thinking of a stand
Yeah, I have that same issue. I'm just using a folding table in this video but I built a monitor riser to go on my actual desk that I can attach the boom arm to
What is the tape on your forehead?
Love the part where the cat strolls near the microphone
So what’s the link for the floor stand
amzn.to/3X7Uu0M
I just buy the kind of stand you have on your right ! Hope you are not recommanding the other one style at the end of this video ! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣.
No! Just keep the one that you have. They're all special in their own way
I have a question
I’m a beginner at youtube
I also play piano and rap
It’s all on a beginner level
So is the blue yeti
A usb mic you’ve made made many videos on good enough?
Currently i shoot and use the mic of the iPhone 12 pro
And sometimes a simple lav mic
Is the blue yeti good enough?
Or should i get the yeti pro or yeti x or yeti nano or yeti snowball
Orrrr the at 2020????
Hello. IMO, the Blue Yeti is good enough. But there are a lot of choices out now if you're looking for a USB microphone that could suit your needs as well. The Samson Q2U, the Samson Q9U, the Rode NT-USB, the Yeti Nano, etc. Some different price points in there as well. Some cheaper than the Yeti, some more expensive. With the AT 2020, you're going to need an audio interface (unless you get the USB version...but it's hard to find and I've heard mixed reviews).
I'm sure I probably didn't help all that much. Bottom line is, all those mic are really good. Just check some more reviews and see which one suits you best
@@PhillipRPeck thank you brother
Helped me out
I also saw your stand review
So imma get the blue yeti with an arm stand and pop filter
Have a lovely day!
Hi, my gator frameworks arm is kind of creaky, how creaky is yours? I'm thinking this is just part of the design with the plastics and stuff.
I guess it is a bit creaky, but I don't move it around a lot when I'm recording so I haven't noticed much
what camera is record video?
I think I was using the Panasonic GH5s at the time
Do you use a cloud lifter or anything similar with your Shure SM7B?
Yes, I use the cloudlifter. I have a video comparing it with the Klark Teknik CM1 on the SM7b
Hey can you put a shotgun mic out of frame on a gator arm frame work?
Yes
@@PhillipRPeck thx
pogchamp
⚠️ This microphone AKG C214 looks like C414, is really the top of the Galaxy. The difference from it's quality on your voice to the others, looks like the other mics are a plastic garbage. I'm listening on a professional recording studio, with a pair of Alesis premium monitors, and also with professional headphones. 🎉🎉❤
Lol. Yes, that's a lot of mics + stands. 0:04
I’d call it the base.
Is that a condenser mic?
I switched throughout the video. Dynamic mics were the Shure SM7b and the Rode Podmic. Condenser mics were the AKG C214 and the Aputure Deity Shotgun mic. Sorry I didn't make that clear in the video
@@PhillipRPeck Thanks, I don't know which is which... the one on the left (your right) is a dynamic mic?
There is text on the bottom right side that shows which mic I'm currently using
@@PhillipRPeck It's hard to see the name, next time use the upper corner where the UA-cam controls aren't.
@@MarinaUganda Yep, sorry. Rookie mistake
💯
mic stand base
Guys someone please suggest me a mic stand for desk, but my desk is 5cm thick, and i cant find any mic holders. But don't suggest a mic stand that has to be on desk, i want one to be clipped to the desk
I have the same issue-desk too thicc for boom arm. I got a monitor stand and clamped the boom arm to that
can I have one, please? 😅
Lol you are disgusted in with the amount of microphones cracked me up more than it should have tbh
