Halloween on a Budget?? How to make CHEAP Wigs look more natural! - Ri Nicole

Both wigs are from Spirit Halloween, but you could easily do this with an even cheaper wig from Walmart! Just be prepared to do 3x's the work!

Girl you are a life saver I got a grey long wig from spirit and I hated how it looked! On the packaging it says to not use heated tools so I didn’t know if I could straighten or curl it or not !

I bought a black men's wig (Spirit Halloween store) for my Superman costume. I need to style it, parted on the side and add the super curl. What type of gel or hair spray works for this type of wig? I tried aqua net and it doesn't stay. it's too synthetically dull.

Got2B glued hair gel and hair spray are the absolute best for wigs! You can find it at most drugs stores. You can also try soaking the wig in fabric softener for a few days and then rinsing and letting it dry to take away the shininess! I've never personally tried that method as i use dry shampoo but i know that it works well for alot of cosplayers!

I've never worn wigs before so I don't know much about them. What are wig caps for? I have a buzz-cut so would I be able to get away with not wearing one or are they for like keeping it in place idk?

Use the concealer trick to make a "part" and create a scalp for it! If you wanna go extra you can cut some baby hairs around the hairline and gel them down! There's a ton of tutorials on how to do that for lace fronts but it would be essentially the same thing
