      I wash them and use fabric softener. Rinse and put dry oil on it- bye shine and tangling. I love clips!

      I don’t wear wig caps, hate them. So I blend the lace in with powder and use silicone scar tape to the underside of the lace. It really makes a difference. I don’t mind T lace parts but I can’t work much with hard front wigs unless I wear a hat.
      And the wig you’re wearing in this video is beautiful!!

    The unnatural hairline is why I always buy wigs that have some type of bangs. It's easy to thin & cut them to get them exactly how you want & they look much more natural then wigs w/o bangs. You did a good job.

    ⭐️I also forgot to mention if you want to secure the front down so it doesn’t lift up at all when you wear her you can use a piece of wig tape. It works the best with these since they don’t have any lace for you to use Got2be products on it.

    I looove hard front wigs. I've had lace fronts that were somewhat costly, and even after fiddling with them they never looked quite as good as the less expensive hard front wigs (which oddly tend to be much thicker too.) Figuring out these techniques to make them more wearable made all the difference and now these are the only type I'm going to buy. I love watching these transformations of inexpensive wigs, thank you! Maybe for a light video you could find the cheapest wig you can and try to make it wearable lol, I sometimes do that if I find one on sale, just as a fun project :)

    If you have a seam ripper (I realize not everyone will) you could just seam rip the whole felt piece & it may feel less terrifying lol. I’m actually going to try this on a few of my wigs! I have a few I ordered last year from Lolitain that, when they arrived, were pretty disappointing lol. My best luck has been with Elf Wigs (back in 2018) and Amazon! Be careful with superglue. I once got the tiniest bit on my index finger, without realizing it and even a couple minutes later, when I touched one of my eyes, I glued my eyelids together. Maybe use some gloves if you have them, although superglue will eat through thin ones. I got my eyelid unstuck, by the way, by applying olive oil with a tissue and then rubbing at the glue with my (clean) fingers. If you glue your fingers together, get someone to dab nail polish remover on the area and that should allow you to pull your fingers apart, then wash with hot soapy water and dry really hard with a face cloth and toss that face cloth in the hamper.

    • @JesseMSimons

I actually learned how to do lace fronts by chopping up Amazon wigs without the Crazy Glue LOL but I finally got up my skills to actually purchase two three and $400 wigs and with ease install them without paying someone to do it! The hardest thing for me is the baby hair, black women are guests are expected to wear baby hair but I'm 50 I'm no baby but that was the only way to cover up the lace I found a hack for that. One day I might show the world what it is it's something so simple you would never think of doing, now I have to show my white step children how to do it no, you can't tell them they're not black comic girl wearing extensions with beads and lemonade braids and all these crazy colors LOL, if they don't want that pretty blonde hair I will scalp them and make my own human HD lace front wig LMAO

If you do figure it out I I know that video is going to be hot!!! So many people in the topper and wig groups can’t wear their mono topper because it’s not a lace front. The only advice the topper companies give is either use leave out hair, which some people don’t have. Plus it doesn’t look natural when you do. They also tell you to cut bangs in the topper. If I wanted bangs why would have spent thousands to buy one without bangs?!!!! Lol!! I am so excited for you to try this!!!!!!💕💕💕💕💕 Thank you for your help! I can’t wait!!

      So this is different for all of us. I can only speak from my personal experiences. When I first started wearing wigs I always would say something like “thanks it’s a wig” whenever someone should complement me on my hair and then after a while I just got used to saying thank you and moving on. Most people will never know, We are our own worst critics. It definitely takes some getting used to if your hair is usually thin (this was me for the first whole year of wearing wigs) but after you get used to it it really is just another part of your daily routine and you honestly will forget you have a wig on when people complement you on how amazing your hair looks!

      I personally don’t have any hair to pull out but that is definitely an option to make it look even better. I did find that taking a small piece of wig tape and putting it right at that lift area made a huge difference as well if how flat I could get it to lay down. I did a separate video on how I did that. It will obviously never look as natural as a lace front or even your own hair but for a nice beach wig or something like that where you don’t want to wear one of your nicer pieces this is definitely a decent option with a little tweaking to fit you.

    • @JesseMSimons
      @JesseMSimons  2 роки тому +7

      It’s not going to come anywhere close to a lace front wig but it’s works for the beach or with a headband or hat if you don’t feel comfortable wearing it alone. This just helps make it less noticeable and flatter on your hairline. Another thing you can do if you get one that matches your bio hair you can pull out some of your own hair at the hairline as well to help blend it together. It’s definitely not a perfect solve but sometimes people are either just starting out with wigs and trying things out before they spend a lot or they may not have the budget for the lace front wigs and this is a good alternative.
