PS: Before recording this video I spent about 30 minutes learning the flight deck on my own and experimenting to see how things functioned. I did not watch any videos related to the 787 so this is pretty much my first time flying it. I may not go fully in depth with my explanations but it will be sufficient to get you guys up and running :)

Your flaps are down.. that's why you have an overspeed warning.
From now on I will refer the PFD as the ginormous heading indicator! :)
I wish the game could show you every button that is operative. It took me a while to find the instrument brightness settings (It was a night flight and you know everything's different at night😂)

I know the flight plan is simply from airport to airport, then how can you add the name of fixes to that
So you say to speed control doesn't work because the airspeed warning comes on it's because you still have your flaps set!!!!!
Thanks for the clear video. However, autopilot heading does not work!! I've tried everything, but the plane keeps flying straight ahead. Does anyone recognize this problem? I fly with the FS2020 on the Xbox seriesX, Turtlebeach Velocityone yoke.
How do you get out of heading mode to LNAV?
I never had a problem with this but every time after I takeoff with this now it stalls and the speed slows down and the plane just crashes, is this a bug? Thanks a lot I never had any problems before but now all of a sudden its been doing that very frustrating

@@Decivye What setting will I need to start the flight in plane off mode and then do the checks and stuff like you did in your video? I play on custom and turn off checklist assistance, but still pre-take off checks are already done..
@@mrgrx40 Well I just start out at any gate and it normally starts the aircraft in dark mode not really too sure if there is a specific setting however, I play on true to life
@@Decivye Thanks mate, I didnt know you could start out at a gate. Will look into that, for my it just starts out on the runway!
@@mrgrx40 No worries mate! Yeah you can zoom in on the map and you can see the different gate options as well. Happy flying!

when i open auto pilot the airplane goes down and to the left
Flap should be set to 0 probably which will solve this overspead issue.
hello me altitude does not go above 10.000 and goes from 10.000 to 0, is there a solution to this ??
That might be a bug. It has not happened to me before as im able to climb much higher than 10,000

I guess Lnav and Vnav aren’t autopilot. Everyone overlooks them!
I did not overlook them. This video is meant for new flight simulator players some of which dont know how to make flight plans yet and just want to learn the basics of a flying. I chose not to include it in this tutorial.
