What an amazing experience! Very high tech museum, this is on my bucket list as OHMSS is my favorite Bond film. Glad they are keeping the memory of the film alive and sharing the passion with future generations
I just love the scenery, dedication to preserving the memory of the filming of OHMSS, the gadgets, resto, technological adventures: everything! Brilliant! Thanks so much for sharing, David!
I remember as a kid freeze framing the VHS video to read the signs in the background to find where in Switzerland this was. Took me ages to find Murren and Grindelwald
One of my favorite Bond movie, great job! when you go in real environments its a Bond experience its self. P.S. Catch that fart on 22:15 is hilarious. David sneaky bastard, allways on point. like a truly Bond!)))
This was just amazing!!! Such a change of mindset because I watched it on my way back from Jamaica. All your recent videos were Jamaica themed and I was totally immersed, then off to Switzerland!!! LoL. David, after going to a location I now understand the effort that is made to get us these videos. Thank you for doing these, and all the flights, standing in airport lines and security, etc. One more thing, my spouse hates James Bond, yet her favorite part of Jamaica...... Dunn's River Falls! There's always that negotiation with the spouse for sure!
Amazing timing for this. I yearly watch the movies in order beginning in mid-August. Just watched You Only Live Twice and this week cocktails with Bond night is On Her Majesty's Secret Service. This looked like an amazing experience, need to put this on the bucket list! Well done!
Don't they sell the orange jackets anymore that the baddies wore? yes it was £240 pound but it was unique, and one thing you never mentioned about the shop unless it's changed, there is NO on-line presence, you have to go to that shop to buy that Bond stuff. And these t-shirts are the same they had in 2017. I done the same with the toilets, did you sit on the loo, and look up as Blofield's voice spoke to you and the lights changed as if you was in one of the rooms as he spoke to the girls at night ? One thing yes it's a Brilliant place to visit for Bond fans, But it's crazy money to get up there, 3 cable cars 1 train had to get and i stayed in the little town just below Murren, had to be over £100 in travel to get their and back. And it's still the most money I have ever spent in one day on holiday and yes that restaurant is superb but boy its top dollar prices, Switzerland is a crazy expensive country so just beware, also if you can 10 miles away is the village of Grindelwald and the 1st Mountain with the cliff walk and the amazing frozen river which you have to see to believe it I took 3D Video it's stunning also a lot cheaper to reach then Piz Gloria. If you are going to spend the money to go to Piz Gloria then you must visit the The Bachalpsee Lake, you will be open mouthed it's stunning. And one bit of infro if you work for a Government Department in the UK you are told not to wear any clothes which has the badge on outside
I was in Bern last year on tour and of course wanted to visit Piz Gloria, but unfortunately it was closed for renovations. I did take the train to Lauterbrunnen, like Lazenby does in OHMSS, but I really hope to get back to Switzerland again soon so I can visit this amazing place. Thanks for this great video!
Amazing place. It's going on my bucket list for sure. Now Danielle has mastered the helicopter she can play Naomi in The Spy Who Loved Me. Thanks David next best thing to being there.
I’ve watched OHMSS many times over the last 30+years on ITV in 🏴🏴 and it’s ‘grown’ on me. If my home was big enough I would ❤️❤️❤️all those framed posters especially original ones - in my dreams A great ‘bond experience’ if you are able to visit 🏴🏴🏴🏴🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👍 👍 ❤️❤️😀😀
Fantastic! Thanks for this insight into the spectacular location for what has, over the decades, evolved to be my 2nd fave James Bond movie (FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE is my #1 and GOLDFINGER and CASINO ROYALE are tied for #3). One little logistical question: What time did you arrive. Looks quiet upon your arrival. Did you arrange special entry? Or just arrive right at opening time (and what time is that)? Thanks for any details.
OHMSS is my favorite film to. Who can forget the Aston going over the sand dune. Not only that it was the 1st Bond film I ever saw. Wasn't into this one 2:30 before I had to hit like.
Fantastic video David ; I've always wanted to go and visit, its on my bucket list ,will definetly have to go now , till then this video is the next best thing ; should be an extra on the bluray of the film its that good

Couldn't agree more!

Definitely going to visit Piz Gloria when I get back to Switzerland!
This days OHMSC is my favorite Bond movie. In the last week I wached it twice... What a delicious disaster of a movie it is!...
It's grown on me for sure.
I feel a slight stiffness coming on....due to the video, no doubt.
😂 Perfectly quoted.
@@TheBondExperience The actresses in this film made it so.
Is this a homosexual reference? It’s totally acceptable now.

Kinda disappointed David, when you said you'd change into something more appropriate for OHMSS, I expected a kilt!
Ah, next time for sure!
One of the greatest locations Boond visited imo.
Can't argue there!
Great video David. I was there the day after you. Can't wait to go back.
It’s amazing isn’t it?
I also found the barn, all the locations in Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen and drove the Furka Pass the day before.@@TheBondExperience
22:15 I think somebody was dropping a Thunderball in there
😂
🍸001st , This certainly has to be on any Bond fans Bucket list of places to visit.
It’s a must!
I would absolutely love to visit St Cyril's from FYEO
Great video - made me purchase some SIS gear. Well done David
It's a fun piece of kit!
@@TheBondExperience Did you attend the live orchestra screening of Skyfall in Toronto in Feb 2020?
Amazing to see Piz Gloria again in such detail...it has changed a lot since I was there in 2000
...and the changes keep coming!
I remember as a kid freeze framing the VHS video to read the signs in the background to find where in Switzerland this was. Took me ages to find Murren and Grindelwald
But what a find!
Fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing the experience with us!

Great place! Great vid! Hope to get there some day.

Was it really 5 years since you were last there? Seems like yesterday.

Fantastic! I’ve been to Switzerland quite a few times but haven’t done this. Will add to my next visit for sure

Now why didn't I think of that!
Ah David! Living vicariously through you...
There is still a Bond girl in residence! …The most beautiful waitress.
Why don't you rock the Bond Girl tshirt Dave? Its 2023 baby!
Where did you get the anorak from david? I want to buy one, But can't find it online
At the beginning of this you tube you say you are in the hotel?
This Video makes me want to go
Put it on your bucket list!
You have a health aura despite the alcohol intake, what supplements do you take?
Zero vitamins and supplements.
Fantastic, David. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing. What a great location!
A View to a Kill.
Sorry I could not resist.
Do diners get motion sick at all from the restaurant rotating, please?

The posters were a wonderful welcome.
Boooo!!! I was expecting the frilly lace cravat and a kilt! Only that would have been appropriate dress. 🤣
LOL...maybe next time! Its drafty!
I remember seeing Piz Gloria from the summit of the Mettelhorn ... Highly recommend a trip to Zermatt next time you are in the region!
Been to Zermatt a few times. We love it.
What size jacket was it David. Love it.
Sign me up for some debris bitte.
As a bucket list destination for us - we're at least happy one of our jackets could make it to Piz Gloria!!
The jacket ruled the day!
Mystery tour, eh? OO7 🙌🏻

Very cool. I'd love to visit there. I'm curious.....does Lazenby get any royalties from the Bond stuff sold there?

Is anything the matter Sir David? 😂
Looking forward to your next debate with Calvin
Awesome content. Thank you. Still the best opening scene from any Bond film - love the Tridents and Ms. Peel

Skied the Swiss Alpes back in the day. Cran-Montana
I must watch the movie again but was the clip on the interactive table actually used in the movie?
Your video was miles better than the actual film. That place kicks arse.

Great video Davd!
Great video!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🎬🏔⛷
Aim like James + 'What are you doing', very funny. Joanna Lumney would have made a smart bond girl.
Agreed!
