This was wonderful! Awwwww ! The memories we haven’t been there in twenty years we used to go there every year in March when our boys were young! How things have changed! Thinking about visiting again ! Thank you for this !
Thanks Donna for the kind comments and so happy we could share. Much has changed around St. Augustine over time. But we still love the charm of the area and the family atmosphere. Joan and I too have been coming to St. Augustine for a long time, but just joined the RV ranks a few years ago. Ocean Grove is one of our favorites.
So ready to retire and come visit there Jerry!! Just watched this video from yall's trip last year. I could only imagine how much fun it would be to do the 2 week deal. As always blessings to you and Joan!!
Thanks much. There's been a number of improvements at Ocean Grove since last year. So many, I'm planning a video update of the campground. It's a great location and our favorite beach town For me, I'm still working. Just fortunate that my work is portable. Don't wait long. Life gets in the way. Jump in. The water's great!!! Jerry....
Thank you for all your campground reviews! You do a great job of showing the places you visit. We plan on full timing in a couple years once the kids are off to college and I’ve been saving some of your videos on my “places to visit” list. Happy travels! 🚐
Hi Erika. Thanks much for the kind comment. We're so glad we can share our travels. Ocean Grove is on of our special places. We're currently in the North Georgia mountains and will be sharing some fun things to do over the next several weeks. Jerry
Another awesome video! I'd love to visit that area, one of these days. I certainly look forward to visiting with my wife. I'd love to be able to show her the beautiful places once were retired. We're travelling here and there now but not RVing just yet. Our last big trip was in 2017. We drove our 2004 Honda Odyssey from IL to San Diego, CA and back. With our kids. We've 2. We took a couple of weeks vacation and loved it. We made many stops along the way and back. Of course, 1 more week would've been great. Thank you again for sharing your videos! Your perspective is very helpful, not just to me, but to others! Peace!
Just a lovely rv resort in St. Augustine. Will have to check it out very soon as we are purchasing a new rv very soon. Thanks for this in depth video and Happy New Year !
Thank you Lana for the kind comment. Such a nice campground. Minutes from the beach, fun places to visit this historic city and we so enjoy the beach food.
you really do a wonderful job with campground reviews, and that is exactly what I am looking for, having never done this before. Now retired, I am considering a Class C 24' motor home and NOT have a tow vehicle. What do you think of this concept? I have watched many of your videos (Especially loved the kitchen remodel - great idea!) Bless you both and thank you for sharing your time and expertise !!!
Thanks so much Bruce. The smaller Class Cs are a nice options. Depends on the type of travel you're planning. Moving often? Small motorized RVs are a good solutions. If you plan to stay in a spot a while, you need to think about transportation while you are stationary. How will you tour the area, go to the grocery store, etc.? You may not want to unhook and leave the campground for basic needs. A bike is an option if you're at the beach. Everything is near, flat, easy access, but not as handy in more rural surroundings.
St. John County had some strict regulations for use of golf carts on public streets. Can’t drive on sidewalks. Most of the beach is 4X4 with a middle section ok for 2 wheel if there’s been enough rain to firm up the sand.
St, Augustine is very nice, including this RV resort, but I can't help notice the heavily chemtrailed sky above. With that said, I wonder if St. Augustine has any permanent RV parks like we have here in Ga.
Thanks for your video. We like them all. When you pan or move the camera it goes into double vision. We noticed this in your other video on Charleston also. Makes me dizzy.
Hi Randy. We always make reservations. Just the comfort in knowing we’ll have a place to park. Plus for the more popular areas, the may book up certain times of the year.
Hello from East Texas. New subscriber here. Watching your videos all night catching up. Just started watching the RV videos. Hubby and i are interested in buying a motor home as he just retired.
Wish I could help. I’m not a good judge area and would be a wild guess. Here’s a link to their site map. Maybe this will help give some idea of the size. www.oceangroveresort.com/Park-Map.html
Hi Carrie. Glad you found our videos. I usually don't quote prices since videos age and prices change. It's the beach, so prices are higher than what we normally pay, but this is our "treat" location for the year. We're going back late spring of this year and it's $825 for the month plus electric. Daily and weekly rates are a good bit higher, but electricity is included.
That's about what my mortgage payment, tax and insurance, was on my 4 bedroom 5ac house in wi...., don't understand why so much to park a camper on a tiny lot.
This is across the street from the beach. One of the better values. There are others in the area that are a bit higher. Those closer to the interstate and some of the national parks are less, but again, beach is the big draw.
Camping is not cheap anymore. In 1950, NYS, it was $2 /night or $10/wk. In Ohio ,it was $15/night, and half that for Ohio Seniors, just 30 years ago. There are a lot of free rustic camp sights at dams in Kentucky. In FL, each campground has to be self-supporting, so the small ones are pricier. Sebastian Inlet has great fishing.
Joe, apologies for the camera shutter. I had two options, my baby camera or the big pro. I did not have my usual and the baby camera movement a little blurry. I'll fix in later updates. Appreciate to comments.
They are a bit close, but there’s plenty of room between RVs. This is for convenience to the Opry, Gaylord and downtown. Plenty of other campgrounds further out with the outdoor feel.
Thanks so much. Understand Jaz. Sometimes in the more populated areas, we aren't able to find the spacious wooded sites. But on the positive side, there's other amenities and the surrounding sites to see that makes the difference. We find there's always a little give and take no matter where we go.

We love St Augustine but have never camped here. Your video does a great job of showing the park in detail. Thanks!!!
Thanks a bunch. Fun place.
My sister moved to St. Augustine last year and Loves it! Although she lives 5 miles from the beach, she is close
St. Augustine is one of our favor places to escape.
Thank you so much for the lovely tour of this RV park it very nice.
Hi Anne, thanks much for the kind comments.
Crystal clear video for us. You should do this for a living!
Hi Kathy. Thanks much for the kind comment.

Thanx for the tour. You have given me an idea of where to go.
Glad to share Randy. One of our favorites.

I just made our reservation for the end of July. I appreciate the video. Did you see any Golf carts across the road at the beach?
St. John County had some strict regulations for use of golf carts on public streets. Can’t drive on sidewalks. Most of the beach is 4X4 with a middle section ok for 2 wheel if there’s been enough rain to firm up the sand.

By permanent meaning long term parking? There are a number from the mountains to the coast offering extended rates.
Thanks for your video. We like them all. When you pan or move the camera it goes into double vision. We noticed this in your other video on Charleston also. Makes me dizzy.
Thanks. Upgraded the cameras since these videos were created. Hope the newer videos give you a better visual experience.
What site are you on? Another great video Jerry!! Thank you so very much. You and Joan be safe! 💕

On all your trips. Do you make reservations first?
So glad you found the channel Debbie. Hope it works out for you all to start traveling soon.
Nice.. thank you for the share. Other than a few ppl @ pool - no one around??
Hi Kristine and thanks. It was the time of day. I didn't want to invade folk's privacy with the camera. Afternoons and weekends were quite busy.
Great review!
Thanks. We're heading back soon.
You made a awesome video me and my family have to check this RV park out.
Awesome! Thank you!
how many acres do you think the park covers?
Wish I could help. I’m not a good judge area and would be a wild guess. Here’s a link to their site map. Maybe this will help give some idea of the size. www.oceangroveresort.com/Park-Map.html
Very nice!
Thanks

We'll be there for 4 days over Thanksgiving $100 a night but it's only paper
Have fun. One of our favorites.
Pets allowed?
They are.
great video. Thank you.
Thanks Becky. Glad I could share one of our favorite places to camp.
how much a month.
The website is currently showing $825 plus electric.
That's about what my mortgage payment, tax and insurance, was on my 4 bedroom 5ac house in wi...., don't understand why so much to park a camper on a tiny lot.
Nice vid they should give you a free stay for that ✌🏻
Team alboe, if only. We love RV Life and want to share the places we enjoy. Ocean Grove is one of our yearly return fun spots.
and that we will :)
Most places in az mn, tx wi, are about 200 month... fla seems to be 300-400 mo...
This is across the street from the beach. One of the better values. There are others in the area that are a bit higher. Those closer to the interstate and some of the national parks are less, but again, beach is the big draw.
I live near the Space Center, a huge RV Resort here is $1400 per month.
Great vid but you kind lost yourself on the pool. Lol😂
Thanks, those angles in the sun get me every time.
Looks like an RV dealership.
👍👍👍
2 GRAND A MTH? That s pretty rich Huh?
Things changed since the video. Rates when we were there for 2 months were substantially less.
@@iLoveRVlife thank you for getting back to me very kind of you I've enjoyed your videos
Thanks for responding! -Kevin
Glad we can share Kevin.
Thanks a bunch.
$75 a night

Very nice but your videos are unwatchable, all blurry.Camera settings wrong I guess.
Joe, apologies for the camera shutter. I had two options, my baby camera or the big pro. I did not have my usual and the baby camera movement a little blurry. I'll fix in later updates. Appreciate to comments.
Too close to each other like many parks.
They are a bit close, but there’s plenty of room between RVs. This is for convenience to the Opry, Gaylord and downtown. Plenty of other campgrounds further out with the outdoor feel.
When you stay at a state campsite or fort Wilderness, these sites just aren't that appealing. But great video nonetheless.
Thanks so much. Understand Jaz. Sometimes in the more populated areas, we aren't able to find the spacious wooded sites. But on the positive side, there's other amenities and the surrounding sites to see that makes the difference. We find there's always a little give and take no matter where we go.
Just found your site.
Please stop " swing around"
Instead pause.
Thanks
Thanks for the comment. Some of our first. We’ve slowed down and updated the cameras too. Appreciate you watching.

I bet that marsh has huge mosquitoes
Not at all. It's brackish water plus there's a nice ocean breeze. We were there in May and June and had no problems.
way to rich for me
Jesus a Christ, long winded much?
