2012 Miller 325 problems

  • So the only had this weather for a year and have hardly used it. I only used it for little projects... I took it out of my truck because i was going out of town for a few months.. Ran fine before i left now it it does this any help appreciated in the coments

    Try taking off the filter and there's a a adjusting screw so you can pick up the rpms a little them check the switch and the high idle solenoid connections and the switch mine was the reed sensor that have alot of wires going threw it it had to be moved it got stuck with lime scale from sitting out in the rain or something check them out hope it helps

      I got it taken care of after tearing the welder apart like 4 times
      It was a 10 amp fuse behind the switch panel
      Miller's replacement part $3
      It happened because I jumped started it with 12v battery

    Hi ..do you have any update on your machine ..i have the same problem .my is 2015 and shows .
    oil 100.and hours 0000 and runs like yours .

    Did u jumpstart this machine? If so the electronics got fried.

      Yes I did I believe that's what caused the issues.... if you take the front cover off there is a 10amp fuse behind the pannel that you can replace will fix the issue

    I.have a Miller 325 efi it turns on then after a while it turns off and it won't start up after a couple of hours later it will start up again can someone please help me out

      Ri Ve hi yes I did fix the problem there is a 10 amp overload fuse that needs to be replaced

      Thanks for your response.i will replace that one to see what happens..Its on the other side of the breaker. behind the pc board ...

      I have the exact problem with mine and it just keeps blowing the fuse. It's the f5 fuse . Any idea on why it would keep doing it? I called Miller tech support and they said it could be the brushes. Put new ones in and it didn't fix the problem it just keeps blowing the fuse shortly after starting it.
