Bond exposed himself talking about Dying Light. Dying Light is not a shooter, and it is not designed to be a shooter. It is okay to be quiet when you don't know anything about a topic rather than be ignorant.

Employee retentions are literally common practice in most acquisitions; this is not a new unique thing that Sony is doing. You just don't hear about it because they are included in the price tag. Part of that $8 billion MS spent for Zenimax probably also went to that.

Anybody saying SIFU is just 5 levels is dumb. 5 levels does mot make it a quick game because your age Carry over to each level. I was 34 starting at level 2 and realized i couldn’t beat the game being that old it’s just impossible. Also this game has a high learning curve. This game could easily be 15 hours

It’s fear from both sides really. The PlayStation guys are worried these live service games will become successful and put a damper on the single player games. While the Bots and Nintendo fanboys are scared of losing the one advantage they have over PlayStation which is multiplayer.

The 2042 issues that BG talked about were fixed. The guns shoot fine. The spread is good. The recoil is manageable. It’s not exactly the same as the older BF games, but it is still pretty fun. I’ve been in s rank for the past month or so and have well over 100 hours. I personally didn’t have half of the issues that everyone else had, but I won’t lie and say they didn’t exist. It’s worth coming back to in order to get your “shooter-fix”.
What about Rocket League, For Honor and Siege BG? You like those non Gaas BR games?

No offense BG, but I think You were told to "shut up" (and that is rude) about shoehorned multiplayer in large scale, high quality single player games because development time and resources are finite, and that there was - and still is - more than enough multiplayer garbage flooding the market. And the truth is that multiplayer thoroughly restricts design. No slow motion, contextual animations have to be severely toned down, "balancing", level design constraints, etcetera.

People have been warning that PlayStation would get into this live service nonsense, and now there's a very real chance that they will utterly consume and vandalize perfectly good single player studios and regress their pedigree. It's happened every single time. Rockstar, Crystal Dynamics and Bioware wasted a whole generation making bs, and those are just 3 examples.

Their is nothing wrong with Games As A Service! If the core gameplay is great and it's enjoyable, why wouldn't you want them to keep pumping out content out for it, for yrs and yrs.
As long as they aren't free to play, when I think of free to play I think of incomplete game. They want us to pay money to even progress and even then when you pay lets say 70 dollars in microstransactions the content still doesn't equate to a full price game.
