@ 1:12 seconds the man needs no introduction. The late great Dick Trickle #99 with one of the prettiest race cars ever. @ 0:15 is the great Bob Senneker in the #84 racing with Terry Senneker, probably at Winchester.
@0.09 - Can someone identify this speedway ? The 101 car on the pole is Dorus Wisecarver, and the blue 144 in 5th. place is Ron Dolen. Dorus was from Zanesville Ohio, and Ron was from somewhere in that same area, so maybe this is a local track to that area. Never made it to this one........
@@richardrice8076 OK, Thanks. That would be one of the tracks I never made it to in all my years living in Ohio. Don't know why - maybe just never heard much about it in racing news, etc. Thanks again.
@suestruve1786 you've never been to the Dirt Track World Championship? Kinda surprised but understandable. Not everybody was a nutty as my friend and I were, making the trek from Suburban Chicago to W. Va. for 6 or 7 straight years. Merry Christmas! Best wishes for 2025.
@jamiecrawford8133 it was narrow and the turns were tight. Parking was an adventure, seating was sketchy at best. But we kept going out there 'cuz it was Oct. and it was the only game in town. My friend and I talked about going to the dome next year. But........ with age comes wisdom, uh, sometimes. We just couldn't see the sense in going. It's a demo derby with a little WWE thrown in. Why drivers go there just to tear up equipment and why fans go there is beyond me. I know it's Dec., it's the only game in town. But I'm not so desperate for a late model race that I would ride down I 55 to the dome.
So cool Max. Merry Christmas. Ron

@@richardrice8076 Did Pennsboro suck as bad as everyone has said it did? Did you go to the St Louis dome race this year?
