I know it's shown in the video, but the narrator should state to lower the handle and then press the lungo button. I didn't lower it, and got water all over the place! So don't forget to lower the handle during ALL cycles!

If the descaler is harmful for skin and surfaces, how is it safe to use in the machine?

Hello. This is the reason why there is a rinse cycle during the descaling process, to rid the machine of the descaling solution after using it.
