The difference betwen 6700xt vs 7700xt or 7800xt and 6800xt is small and that's the truth. Even 7900gre is as fast as 6950xt in most games. 7900xt starts standing out but it is already the second best amd gpu in the current line up.
Here 6750XT's $350 and the 7700XT's $550. Apparently, recently a few manufacturers announced a price drop, but that's not going to happen any time soon for us here.

hardwareluxx has benchmarks it's a pretty small drop and they had to use 720P to see up to an 8% drop in performance but at higher resolutions hardly any change.

In my country 7700xt is 480$, and 6750xt is 445$ - which more or less mirrors the performance. If you're upgrading from something old, the 7700xt is OK, but absolutely no reason to replace a rx6000/rtx3000 gen card. I really like AMD, and will keep buying their cards on principle (competition is good), but let's be honest - 7700xt is not what you'd call a thrilling proposition. Also, AMD's power consumption is a bit out of whack - but then at least the 7700xt is 10 degrees cooler by nature, and undervolts really nicely.
@@519achilles That 10-20fps increase with Rx 7700xt in titles that run typically between 30-60fps on 6700xt is a good upgrade. People would have been pleased with 1080p performance for the generational leap that's for sure.

@@Mrdn36 It depends on some criteria. Like if you game on 1440p then this cpu is enough to pair with Rtx 5070/5080. For 1080p, you need to upgrade your cpu.

Well, while 6000 series energy readings are false, the 7700 xt DOES use a lot of power! Fortunately it undervolts very nicely, so you can at least drop it into 190-200 W range.
I have run into a problem. Fortnite, PUBG, Forza was working all fine, Suddenly Adrenalin got upgraded and then now these games dont work. I tried to downgrade to older versions but same issue. I am not sure if the problem is with my graphics card or something else. Please advise.

What I did was get the 6750 XT and used the money saved to buy a 1440p monitor to upgrade from my 1080p one. Would be pretty overkill to get a 6800 or 7700 XT to play on my 1080p 165hz display. 6750 XT is amazing and offers exceptional value.
I bought the 6750xt, imo I dont see 10FPS more as worth 100€ as I dont play the games on max settings. I only want to achieve them 60 on good graphics thats it.
I was debating on getting the 6800 as the performance is practically the same but the 16GB of vram was appealing but spending a extra £40 then from there it was like i could get the 7800 XT for another 30-40 and yeah then suddenly im at the 7900 xtx 😂 just stuck with my 7700 XT plus the nitro+ looks gorgeous in my case with the lighting and stays below 50C

Generally a small drop, like maximum 8% less in one or two titles, on average 4-5% less, you wont notice any real difference while actually playing
