a CCG game is ripping off the Chinese? First of all, that's a very general statement. Secondly, not sure what evidence you have to back up that claim.
Shadowverse is way more fun and balanced, saying shadowverse is a ripoff of HS is waaaaay less valid than saying HS is a ripoff of MTG

Rage of Bahamut was made by the same people so it is only natural they would use similar art styles.
***** Under that argument you can say that almost any first person shooter is a rip-off of counter strike, battlefield or cod. Or that any moba is a rip-off of LoL or Dota, just because they're more popular.....
And im not saying that the game will get killed, but another game becoming more popular is a possibility if they keep doing these dumb design choices..... Nobody wants another shaman tier class, or more cards that win games with a good rng outcome like barnes, ragnaros against full boards, yogg, etc...
And it seems like we're going to get a new shaman tier class in the next expansion, wich will be priest this time.... Each expansion we get like 30 to 40 usefull cards, while the rest of it is either garbage, meme cards for shit archetypes or filler material......
The only Kripp content I care about anymore.

Every card game is better than Hearthstone, which is literally bottom of the barrel for absolute braindead morons, but Legends isn't as well-designed. It's not bad, though.

At least in streams im actually happy that most of his viewers keep watching when he switches to this. Normally he is between 20k and 25, when he switches to shadowverse he maintains from 18k to 15k

Something doesn't have to be illegal to be disgusting,
I don't mind the artwork itself. But I do have a problem with the inconsistent art styles. Ancient Elf looks like something drawn by someone who worked on The Elder Scrolls Legends while the Fairy looks like a 14 year old boy's fan art. And then you have something like Elf Child May which looks like something from a B-rated doujin

It doesn't matter in a collectible card game... these kinda games normally have many artists behind the arts of each card... you cant expect them all to have similar kinda style and you shouldn't even want that..

The Great Cornholio Hearthstone seems to be mostly consistent. The art never takes me out of the immersion of the game like these cards do

If you folks thought Freeze Mage or Patron Warrior were tricky decks to use, you ain't seen nothin yet. This might actually be one of the most complex decks I've ever seen, and it's pretty dang cool.
Mathmachine complex my ass. Fill your hand. defend and altered fate. play ptp
Sure it sounds easy when you break it down to its core. "Freeze Mage: Fill your hand with burst, survive to late game, play it all at once". It's a lot trickier in execution.
Everything in constructed Magic > Draft Magic decks > Shadowverse > banging a stick with a rock > Hearthstone.
....its not complex at all...which I take to mean that you've never actually played path to purgatory yourself. or your definition of "complex" is really REALLY low.
Mathmachine well with freeze mage, you need to know how much burn you have for killing minions and how much is going face. freeze mage has a counter( warrior and rapid heals decks). countering ptp require you to play aggro or amulet tech. no one wants to run execution and Odin against sword and heal( the two other popular classes)

I started playing Shadowverse last month thanks to Kripp. I have really been enjoying it so far, I actually enjoy playing aggro decks in this game compared to the ones in Hearthstone.

Techno Lion You guys are way too closed-minded. I dont like anime or Japanese games either generally, but this game is great. after a while the art has actually grown on me. The mythical beasts actually look pretty badass compated to hearthstone

I think shadowverse is a way better game than hearthstone. I feel like every match I play is not up for chance but is entirely on skill. Also I found out about this game though his videos and appreciate krip doing other games. Also I found that the rewards are a lot better in shadowverse.
hearthstone becoming more and more a game of chance. I don't know how many times I was playing a game and suddenly random effect card screwed me. I am not saying there no luck in the draw but definitely less random stuff going on where you lose because of it in shadowverse
though i do agree that shadowverse is more skill intensive its not as big a difference as people think. I've been playing storm haven since i pulled every card for it from packs and its as easywin as any curve deck. I would go as far as to argue that midrange shaman is a harder deck to play

I love the mechanic side, but this game is in dire need of a *dramatic* visual redesign.
I really don't see any problems on the games' visual side of things.
Like what is supposed to be the problem? I think I've seen some people complaining about the attack, summon etc. effects being too grand and bright, but I have no idea what else could be that bad in the game as to require a visual redesign.
Semyon Galtsev stop whining about the visual just because of your western standard. The game is designed for Japanese players who like a different art style, it is introduced to the west but its design works best in Japanese language. That's why all the voice over, visual, and description don't make much of a sense because of translation issues.
Karsh First thing that really stood out in a bad way were the battlefields. Bad, angular 3D is a no-no. Shapes of cards, player portraits, and some elements of the UI are overly complex. Porportions and mutual placement of things on the screen are all over the place. Look at the opponent's mana counter: it covers part of their hand, even though there's free room for it at the top of the screen. Overall, the design is very amateurish.
Flashiness is a bit over the top, but only a little bit. I don't mind it.

I love this deck! I think that purposely having bad cards in your deck as your win condition is really flavorful for a deck type. Path to Purgatory is an amazing deck. Unlike hearthstone, which is reliant on minion combat and pure stats, Shadowverse, I feel, has a deeper dimension of gameplay. The Path to Purgatory deck type shows how important it is for a card game to have more archetypes that stray away from mindless minion trading.
Lee Joshua this isn't a new deck you can find it on one of the net deck websites. It is actually funny how kripp complains about games becoming about net decks and he picks one of the most commonly used ones.

he complans about curvestone being the only way (most Op way) to actually play hearthstone which he has a really valid point for, decks in sahdowverse don't exactly rely on who plays 1 drop 2 drop 3 drop 4 drop, thing from hell, like Hearthstone does and you could see that with this deck and with his dimensionshift deck from psevious videos
Remember that Hearthstone is a card game designed for children, not adults/teens. While it's audience might consist mainly of 12 year olds and up it's designed so that children from 8 or up (a random guess, they could play it from a younger age) are able to play it properly.
It's why sure, shadowverse might be more mechanically advanced, but hearthstone's casual audience is bigger than it's competitive audience, and not everyone wants to invest time into learning complicated game mechanics, i.e. magick the gathering.
Not trying to say hearthstone shouldn't be more complicated mechanically, just giving a counterpoint to why it isn't right now and might not be in the future.
Even though there's a bunch of Hearthstone dummies that downvote these video's i hope he will make more of them. Much more interesting than curve/rng-stone...
Also Kripp seems to enjoy playing this much more than HS when he stream.
He certainly enjoys it more since he's paid to do it and given all cards for free so he can stomp other players with OP pay-to-win decks.
As soon as the new expansion hits Hearthstone this game is going to die. And Kripp is gonna get back on the Blizzard hype train like he's always done, since streaming Hearthstone is what pays his bills and (inexplicably expensive) vegan food.

This deck with it's multiple routes to victory reminds me of Legacy elves in mtg, where you can combo with glimpse, win through natural order, or beat down with your creatures.

Dididnt kripp say like few months ago that he only does payed promotions for games that he truly enjoys and that is why he has so few payed promos, i think it was in that alien vs soldiers strategy/moba/fps game forgot name, so why so much bitching the game is actually good.

Maybe, Maybe not - PTP Forest (not Tempo forest) is one of the HARDEST decks in SV and as difficult to pilot as any of the hard decks in HS.
Jack Huo PTP forest is the hardest deck to play. And kripp, while decent at HS is definitely not good at SV. He's in way over his head with this deck.

Um... so I was really interested in the deck but the facecam covered a fourth of the deck so I didn't see what else was in it. and as far as I have seen there is no deck list. could someone help me out

One thing i think they need to add to shadowverse is in the playback on the left that shows you what cards have been played to my knowledge it doesnt show if you milled a card from your deck. and often the animation happens so fast you cant tell what the card 100% is esspeically if it looks similar to another card

Hey Kripp, are you going to talk about some of the cards that's coming out on the newest expantion that's coming out soon in Shadowverse? i'm curious what you think about the new Enhance Mechenic and some of the other cards they've revealed so far.
If you plan on playing this deck, turn off as many animations as you can and use the highest fps setting you can, the clock is your greatest weakness with the amount of math you need to find hidden lethals

When i started playing this game (2 months ago) i just got like 12 free packs (6 from standard and 6 from darkness evolved) like just for joining the game, and now i got another 12 free packs, so thats 24 free packs, i just got my first 4 legendaries on my first day playing this game... i cant wait to xmas, maybe ill get more free packs - legendaries. HS kiddies triggered. Listen kiddies, I have been playing card games for over a decade and while SV is not the best one out there, its a lot closer to a great CG than HS will ever be. A game where the "pro decks" include 10 cards with the word RANDOM in it is not serious or competitive, you are literally playing dice roll. So go play Chutes and ladders instead, its more age appropiate and more fun than garbagestone

i think your deck is ok but my version of PtP that i made only has cards with 3 CMC or lower. This way i can move through my deck faster and usually win by turn 8 or 9. Its a little harder to deal with big creatures but usually you can just use stuff to stop them from attacking or use a rhinoceroach as removal
Wait... I thought only Shadowcraft could interact with shadows. Can any faction do it if they have cards with shadow effects? Good to know if that's the case.

As someone who neveer played this and doesn't know the rules or cards, the fast animations and play realy give me headaches :D
Play it, and you will see what a great game it is, I personally like it better than Hearthstone (almost inexistent RNG), so try it a bit and I'm sure you will like it! :)
The one and only bad thing there is that, if you are actually playing this game on a tablet, it can just crash. And there is no rc at this point.

You should make more videos about this game, including unpromoted ones. Really seems like you're enjoying this game more than Hurtstone, just that you stick with HS because it is infinitely more popular.
Warning : you need at least 6 gold card to have a chance wining with this deck and they are the hand cycle and the 6 dmg aoe

Shadowverse is pretty fun, but Haven craft has some crazy tempo/combos. Otherwise I can deal with the other classes pretty fairly. I play Dragoncraft Aggro at the moment, as coming back from combos like pugatory are highly unlikely lol.

best thing about this game is the deck styles for sure its also nice not to get RNGED to death (besides being fucked by bad draws) still gonna probably go back to hearthstone often becuz im invested at this point and have hope for a more interesting future for rogue...not that much more interesting after p[laying this tho .-.
First opponent screwed up, he missed 2 damage on turn 3 by not attacking by the faeries before playing the ancient elf... if he had done that, kripp would have lost on turn 6 where he can just evolve one of the faeries to finish him off
The gripe I have with combo decks is that Shadowverse's meta is what you get when they become dominant. That meta is either the Combo decks themselves, or the face decks that do nothing but kill the Combo decks before they get their combo. Almost nothing in between. Midrange and control are tier 2 at the very best, and the few that are that good use the same baselines as the Combo and Face decks. You actually can't get to turn 10 in this game, unless that's the very turn you get comboed down. I like the game's arena more than HS, but the constructed experience I find worse than HS. In HS, you can make a meme deck and maybe get some wins and laughs, you can still hit legend with Priest.

I Believe it was immunity to spell/battlecry damage until their next turn (cards move by fast so that's from what I managed to read)

I like this game, it has very good mechanics but thanks to the graphic of the effects my eyes are bleeding, so much stuff happens on the screen with too many colors, I can't even watch this for 2 minutes without pausing the video!
