Were the velcro straps enough to hold them when fully loaded? Looks kinda sketchy

Velcro is super strong, I've loaded at least 60 pounds in the bags, and the straps seemed like they would hold more if needed.

I got some nelson rigg for my cbr650f I'm now seeing I can find the support rack for these. How secure do they mount? The nelson rigg look like they will go inwards since there's no bracket.

Now would you buy the 40 or 30 liter variant?

I think I would go smaller. The 40 does get in the way of the passenger pegs when 2 up. Most of the time, there is extra room not used. They have been packed full when not using a top case/ bag.
