I love how your Concept of "Jazz" is all inclusive... And though I have been playing much longer than you.. A true Inspiration for all Guitarists. Beautiful musical use of great technique and Harmonic Ability. I recently heard of Jonathan.. Great Musician..Great Guitarist.
So inspiring. I love being able to hear your reflections, both about the record and the guitar as a solo instrument. Thank you for your art and the inspiration!
It is nice to discover this kind of artist, great work !

Definitivamente tu música marcó antes y un después en mi formación y mi concepción del instrumento y la música. Tienes toda mi admiración como músico, compositor y guitarrista.
Great Jonathan! I just got your "One" cd in the mail and listened to it last night.....fluid, creative, diverse, and solo with no loops....that's the direction I'd like to go! Congratulations! C.G.T. Ukiah, CA
Congratulations, Jonathan, on this creative and beautifully presented video, and on the solo project! I'm really excited to hear the CD! Plus, I'm in agreement with the idea that we are really at the beginning of what is possible in the solo guitar format...:) Thanks for sharing!
That chord with the flat 6 at 5:44 that's definitely a flamenco chord! Sabicas and Paco de Lucia blow me away in particular, I know John Williams thinks highly of Sabicas and Tommy Emmanuel of Paco, all superb players.
Solo guitar I remember was very difficult for me. I wouldn't know anymore considering I smashed my 1959 ES 330 TN. There were only 160 of the guitars made. There are only 159 left in existence today. If you have one, I just made yours more valuable.
Hi there Jonathan, fantastic playing as always. I noticed your pole pieces are adjusted to a pretty extreme level, E and A and B strings dropped pretty heavily into the p/u? plus the actual pick up height is fairly close to the strings. I have a sweet older 335 and i tried raising my pole pieces but dropping the pick up away...do you find that height/distance combo to be sweeter? more balanced? constant pursuit of tone!!
Great project and great playing. I am travelling in the opposite direction, from Bach to Sabicas to Django. If you want to hear some nylon string playing then check out Hail Bossa on my channel, not much jazz in it but I do own a lovely guitar and Recado Bossa nova (or Cesar Swing) seems to like it when you are playing with guts.
I have noticed that there are some pieces of videos in which mr. Kreisberg performances his tunes.. Are the full videos of this performances aviable somewhere?
This album is really fantastic.. One of the most beautiful I have ever heard, that' s simply unbelivible.. Mr kreisberg is unbelivible..

Baden Powell, Brasil!
I totally agree with Kreisberg: I think jazz guitar still has a lot of possibilities.
Definitely! The only limitation is the person playing the instrument.

Whats the first song called in the very beginning?
It's probably "Canto de Ossanha" ;)
🌾🌱🙄💙
which song is the one playing in the beginning?
canto de ossanha... track 1
song at 2:36??????
Without shadow
the good thing: if maybe one day you will lose your right hand, you at least could fight the evil dead ;)
