The only negative criticism of Jonathan's music might come from the bar owner and the waiting staff. The music is so wonderful almost nobody is making a sound (ordering food or drink) while he plays. I wish he would make a tour of U.S. and stop by Ann Arbor. He is the whole package, chops and melodic taste. It's so obvious he works hard at his craft. Time for Gibson to make a model in his name.
@@peterj.andros3996 best is a matter of personal taste for sure but i dont think he takes a backseat to anyone in that conversation. how many jazz guitarists are currently better than kreisberg in the US?
Jonathan, so wonderful beatyful music!!! I have played with many great guitarists but your touch, rhythm and harmony is above anthing! I enjoyed your playing with Dr.Lonnie Smith here in Gothenburg, Sweden some 8 or 10 years ago (I think). Warm hugs from Raymond, drummer who played with Europe’s best guitarist Ulf Wakenius between 1983-1997.
Jim Hall, Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, Grant Green, Charlie Christain, and Django Reinhardt i think would be a great intro. Welcome to the world of Jazz guitar! I wish you all the joy and fufilment!

Hi Bryan, I have studied with Jonathan. I think Ibanez is making one. All the best to you.
@@MrSyjdub That is terrible news for my bank account.
@@MrSyjdub Really? Any news on that? His 175 it’s iconic
Possibly the world's best modern straight ahead guitar tone. Full-bodied, balanced, sumptuous, earthy - totally gorgeous.
Not only technically masterful but equally outstanding as a musician (technique serves the music )
so beautiful that it hurts
the intro is so tasteful... he is one of the best...
I found out about Jonathan just a few weeks back. Yes...he definitely IS a monster!!!
Extremely talented with a very wide vocabulary.
+KenGLaP look up his other group's 2008 performance of Twenty-One. one of the best live jazz videos ive ever seen lol
This guy is amazing. His tone, phrasing and vocab are on point!
@@raas96 Yeah... at the same concert, Autumn in New York is also a masterpiece.
The Monster!!
Best Jazz guitarist it the Country as far as I'm concerned.
Not quite.

That guitar opening is like "EVH/Eruption" but by a master jazz man. Incredible tone and dynamics within. I came here because of some Dr Lonnie stuff
MAGIC
Stunning camera work.
Lol
I like the sound of the waitress clanging cups too ;)
Kreisberg has something with the "camera work"
Un grandissimo poeta!!!
Uno de los mejores guitarra de nuestros tiempos,(si no es el mejor del mundo para mi)

Kreisberg is a monster! Period!
i concur that kreisberg is most definitely a monster
+rodite I also agree. definitely a monster. Different level of musicianship
Monstruosity confirmed.

Excellent Jonathan!
Hyper beau ! On se régale totalement 🙏👍🫶

I love it !!!!
The intro reminds me of holdsworth’s above and below
Beautiful!
So Badass~~~ love it
Lindo.
Bravo👍👏👏👏👏👏
Simply Amazing...
Fantastic playing!
Fabulous, top !!!
>Time for Gibson to make a model in his name.
oh, definitely! A master, no doubt about this: with lots of style and personality.
Never seen him use any other guitar than his 70s Gibson. Would be surprised if he would go for a model made in his name.
He's getting a beautiful sound out of that guitar
e lydian in the intro beautiful
4:50
From 1:30 is that the love supreme motif?
Watching JK play at BND is like catching The Beatles at The Cavern.
Anybody know what he's playing @ 2:54?
Anybody any idea what is he playing at 1:50???
+bloodyfrets Gmaj7 arpeggio, F#7 arpeggio, Eminor7 arpeggio, Ebmaj7 arpeggio, D7 arpeggio, Dbmaj7 and Cmaj7
Thanks a lot. Any idea of the shape and picking?
@@bloodyfrets it's hammer ons from the root to 3rd on the 2nd string, then a cross picking down the other strings. makes for a great exercise!
7:00
What's that clicking around 2:00
I think it's his pick touching the neck pickup
What's the name of the tune?
bro that guitar is fineeee as shit
im lissening to this with 5%
if someone knows some real good jazz musicians please let me know
cuz Im just starting here

Pasqal grasso.. monster chord melody
the Drum is good apart the snare drum side knocks...
a little dish noise for ambiance
When the rhythm gets going I find the drumming too ahead or in front of the groove. Am I wrong?
robotic. compare with george benson or wes montgomery. no finesse. all technicality.
you're opinion, I don't agree. wes montgomery and george benson are true masters for sure. but this music is simply put something else.
