This is absolutely ridiculous. Incredible playing by both. I think Nelson's solo here is one of the most special Jazz guitar solo's I have ever heard, and I have heard many thousands.
What the! I’ve been an avid listener and player since the 70s. This is the best I’ve heard. These guys have a plateau of landscapes under their fingers.
Nelson Veras scares me. So composed and relaxed as he improvises some of the most gorgeous guitar lines while following sheet music. It's like watching a colony of ants build a mound. This pairing is dynamically and stylistically a home run.
i keep comin back to this as one of the best musical opera of all time. It is so inspiring and makes you feel like there is still some good in this world. grazie mille campioni
Amazing performance . Best guitar duo I heard in years. Perfect marriage of Jazz and brazilian music. I am blown away. Greetings from Amsterdam. ( subscribed with a big 😊 🙏 😊 )
Awesome to hear another guitarist's ideas on a JK composition. Absolutely love what Veras did here, and the sonic synergy between both players. Really looking forward to hearing the record.
Such a beautiful composition and the performance is absolutely fantastic . I love jazz and brazilian music. I see the same concentration in Nelson Veras playing than I saw in Baden Powell's playing his prelude in A minor..... uauuuhhh ( subscribed)
Great tune! Love the "Vagabond" version and this latest version. I can't help to think of Lyle Mays' chorinho when i hear the rhythm guitar that Jonathan played :)
It's indescribable what you can achieve with just a simple classical guitar when you have such a superior technic like Veras trully has ...it made me instantly feel like picking up my Koa body Flamenca guitar N leave 4 a while all my crazy gears (FX units) N tube stack...
wow, love this so much. I have a question, does Kreisberg have "Fast Fret" spray or some other lubrication spray on his fingerboard. I seems to be on the body of his guitar, as well as on the frets he plays most, yet i don't see it on the EAD string 12-15 frets. The more i look, it seems like its just his guitar's old finish. Monster player
wow. that's interesting! where'd you hear that from? It makes sense... I always wash my hands before i play just in case there's food or some weird residue on my fingers. I've recently experimented with some hand soap that has olive oil in it, and had great results. It never leaves my hands sticky, overly dried out, or oily either. Just perfectly smooth. I can immediately play after washing them. It also never rubs onto my guitar, whereas his fret board looks generously oiled.
Brian Wondra I saw a bottle on a Masterclass vid and I believe it’s olive oil. And on “twenty one” vid with quintet from jazz Baltica you can notice him holding a plastic bag and then rubbing his hands, I think it’s oil too :)
Very interesting. Technically they both use legato a lot, but to me they are as similar as fire and water can be, however I agree that they are both some of the most original, creative and unique artists.
Great Song plaing by two great guitars

For sure.

This is great but...I saw them live and it is actually beyond awesome, it was like a dream, one of the best concerts of my life. Thank you
almost hold my breath throughout the Veras solo. Pure magic!
It's like two well spoken birds having a wonderful conversation.
I love come back to this track - it was a pleasure to listen to them in London :)
Great! Looking forward to the album! 🙂
Thanks
Brasil has so many incredible guitar players! Kreisberg and Veras are Masters.
These two are coming to Poland in February, awesome! Shame they are playing in a venue so small that the tickets are going to be out probably today...
This is really beautiful.
Bloody fabulous. Love your playing so much. 👌
Mr Veras is pretty good too. Lovely combo.
Keep coming back. Damn.
i keep comin back to this as one of the best musical opera of all time. It is so inspiring and makes you feel like there is still some good in this world. grazie mille campioni
Fantastic, well played, creative, very musical and poetic. This is as good as it gets. Two fantastic young musicians. Bravi!
Pure Poetry guys. Amazing.
Sounds like one guitar playing 4 different parts .. Amazing collaboration
Nelson’s solo is the perfection. Simple like the perfection.
A questão não é a quantidade ou a velocidade das notas, mas sim "As Notas", onde, quando e como elas são aplicadas..! Espetacular.!
Só faltou minha batera nesse vídeo! Deus abençoe tanto talento cada vez mais 🙏
You guys are beautiful and complimentary...so nice.
Amazing performance . Best guitar duo I heard in years. Perfect marriage of Jazz and brazilian music. I am blown away. Greetings from Amsterdam. ( subscribed with a big 😊 🙏 😊 )
So Incredible! So many quintuplets too!!!
This is a perfect marriage of creative minds. Can't wait gentlemen!
Wonderful music…… great playing thx so much guys 🙏🏻❤️❤️
favorite piece ever
Greatness and once in a lifetime. Musical synergy on 12 strings.
What if they got to the end of that take and the sound engineer was like "Oh sorry guys, didn't get that one."
"Wait does that mean we get to do it again for the first time? Heck yea!"
Hey maybe that happened to a different, even better take. We will never know
Classic
Sack / can him / her?

Killin Jon!! You two compliment each other so well. Rhythmically, harmonically, and melodically so good!!
hello guys It was very nice jam
Is the Gibson 175 was scallopped by natural playing?
Beast!
Wow !!👍👍
Que beleza!!
You beastly guys...
Woww!!!
Jonathan your guitar neck looks scalloped in the raking light!

I heard he uses olive (?) oil for fingerboard or fingers to play smoother :))
wow. that's interesting! where'd you hear that from?

What is on Jonathan's fretboard? It looks like surfboard wax?
I think it's olive oil.
Interestingly enough, Veras's phrases remind me of Allan holdsworth's.
Very interesting. Technically they both use legato a lot, but to me they are as similar as fire and water can be, however I agree that they are both some of the most original, creative and unique artists.
When Kreisberg was a young player he sounded like Holdsworth in style and sound. This is when he lived in Miami, FL
