Have been doing your mobility and flexibility routines for about 2 years and man my life has changed! Thank you lots!!! I would love to see a follow along full body warm up.
It's so refreshing to do stretching and mobility without the associated yoga bullshit, "mercury is in retrograde so you might feel some tension in your upper thighs this week". Fk right off with that lol I'm tight cos I sit down all day and don't stretch. This guy is legit
@@michaelegan5123 lol sooo Mercury’s retrograde has nothing to do with yoga as a practice. You’re generously generalizing with your ignorance. Why not educate yourself? Yoga is a practice that verifies the philosophy of Samkhya. The stretching part of yoga is to make you limber enough to sit in meditation for long periods.
my flight chief (MSgt in the AF) recommended me to you when i told him i was having back problems with work and additionally taking my health and working out seriously. I watch the first beginner flexibility video and i moved to this one and I havent missed a day of my daily stretch routine. thank you so much for providing this content it helps out ppl like me alot.
Loved this. I'm pretty stiff after a workout and this routine had me snap crackle and pop like a bowl of rice krispies. I feel so much looser and better now! Thank you!
I'm a runner, and your videos help a ton with pain and tightness from running. Could you please do a video with stretches/exercises for shin splints? That would be much appreciated 💜 keep up the good work!
I suffered a lot with shin splints. One exercise which helped was drawing circles (or figure 8’s) with your big toe. But by far the biggest help was getting the correct running shoes for my pronation. Since I did that I have zero issues with shin splints. Like, absolutely none!! You can get advice (and tests) on this in any good running store.
Omg the best comment I’m a runner and have only just found this video! What else of Toms can you recommend? I’m super inflexible so anything to help ? Xx
@@Francisgamesupply hi, dear! Of course, here are my recommendations: I started with 20 Minutes Full Body Flexibility Routine (almost 3 million views). It stretches every muscle and I found it to be the most well-rounded. Also, after running, you can try his 15 Minute Runners Flexibility Routine, this one is specifically made for runners. Hope this helps 🤗
I have been following you and using your follow alongs for over a year This is my favorite Thank you for allowing us to be our better selves through your knowledge and help!!!
Thanks for the new vid! As much as I love the other ones, I'll admit I was ready to change it up. 🤣 NEW video request (possibly a series): stretching and strength training for those with joint problems. Personally, I'm in the first year and a half of a rheumatoid arthritis/fibromyalgia testing and diagnosis. It's WAY DIFFERENT from making modifications for injuries and I'm ***REALLY*** struggling (and from my research, I'm joining the ranks of many others and there is a content vacuum on this). These autoimmune and other inflammatory diseases are poorly understood and under-treated. Here are what I believe to be the two biggest obstacles that need addressed: (1) Throttling to not go 100%. I've long played sports and trained and have usually worked out to exhaustion. These issues are like an injury in that I'm finding if I do as much as I *can* today, it actually sets me back and I pay for it for days (and beyond). This is why I like your beginner flexibility videos because I can make them harder for myself without going too far. But any of the more advanced videos are too much. So something in the middle would be ideal :) (2) RA affects hand, finger and wrist joints the worst (generally speaking and definitely in my case). You might be shocked to find how much you use your wrists in exercises all over the body!! For some stretches, I have found modifications, but for most, I just have to skip them because they hurt my wrists too much. Eventually, you wind up skipping 80% of an exercise and then, what's even the point? The second point is why I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to have videos from you, specifically, with medium stretches and exercises, modified for wrists and hands. I love your videos because I want the calisthenic angle, not the spiritual/yogi one. And I think your background and education are best suited to create content that would actually benefit, stretch and even workout people like me. I want to be the good sore the next day from stretches and workouts, but for all the content I can find, I'm either just in residual pain for a week or I didn't get any benefit. Please, please, please! 🙏🙏🙏 I'd be happy to go into more detail, but don't want to leave you a novel here. You'd be my, and I'm sure many other sufferers', hero. 👼💕
My body proportions are not the same as Tom’s (obvs), as during the first neck stretch my fingertips are quite a way from the mat. Short arms or long body, who knows? ? Great follow along, and peace...
Been doing the full body felixibility v3 for the past 3 weeks every morning, it's melted so much fat right off, it's been amazing to fit into clothes again. Going to give this one a go tomorrow! Edit: gave it a go, love it! Spoilt for choice now on what to do each day!
Thank you Tom, I've followed along to this routine a fair few times and at 47yeras old, I find it very beneficial after visiting the gym or after a run... Your content is much appreciated 👍
I absolutely love these videos. Prior to quarantine i used to alwaysss utilize your mobility routines and flexibility post workout. I made it a goal to stay consistent daily since quarantine started and I’m honestly proud I’ve gained SOO much flexibility thanks to all the amazing knowledge you share bro, I was diagnosed with external tibial torsion which causes join inflammation, blocking etc.. while I wait for the dr’s to figure everything out and give me a surgery date these AMAZING routines keep my body feeling absolutely amazing!
Tom, buddy. As much as I appreciate the absolutely stellar content, because it truly has been helping me work out the kinks and basically locked joints from 20 years of sitting on my bum, we really need to have a chat about the term "beginner".
Thank you so much for more follow along. These are definitely then most played vids in my YT history. I started with front splits in late summer. And have done flexibility follow along every day. In December I added added the body weight follow alongs to my daily habit. I hope there is more V3 coming in the future. I might be in better shape now that when I was going to the gym.
It was a nice routine, I really struggled with the hamstring stretches maybe didn't quite get what was going on there and my lower back sort of hurt a bit but I feel much looser now. It's nice to have these little sessions after a walk on off days.
new to the channel, happy i found it after searching for beginners yoga, been doing your routines for a few weeks now. thanks for the help Tom, I really think theyve been making a difference for me physically
Awesome! I've been doing the exercises that are in the follow along for swimmers since the pandemic started. Now there's another one that I can watch to alternate it with the other video. I'm glad to say doing that follow along has helped me increased my performance in my swim practice. Keep up the great job Tom and thank you for sharing! Regards from the Dominican Republic🇩🇴.
We Love you Tom, my family and I have a video chat every morning where we then do exercises together. We love your videos as they are easy to follow and we can really feel the stretches helping us.
Absolutely love this stretching feels so rejuvenated after it - thanks for the follow alongs, I do the desk stretch follow along most days at work too!
Awesome routine!! Ever thought of making one specifically for ball hockey & hockey players? I play both pretty frequently and they both use different major muscles, I could use the help on making an awesome mobility routine. Keep up the good work, I’m praying for you!
Could you maybe show a rutine for being better at holding the bar while doing front squats.. I would like to be able to hold the bar like weightlifters do, but I can't get my elbows up, so I have to settle for crossing my arms. I can't lift as much this way because I can't control the bar.
This is the first one in the series of beginner vids where I encountered an exercise I just straight-up couldn't do even the beginning of (the pike hug) so that was kinda discouraging. Maybe I was just doing it wrong but I followed what you said and felt a lot of strain in my back and had to stop, I just can't get my chest to my thighs and I certainly can't slide my feet out while I'm there. Hopefully one day, but not today.
Thank you Tom for making these videos , I’ve been following the V2 Beginner Routine for 2 weeks now and notice a tremendous difference . When do you recommend incorporating more stretches along with this such as front splits ?
Great video! Really loved the upper body focus in this one - had me feeling great after a day of spending sitting at the desk. I was unable to feel / follow the hamstring stretches... Can you please add some more cues for those?
Have been doing your mobility and flexibility routines for about 2 years and man my life has changed! Thank you lots!!! I would love to see a follow along full body warm up.
Nice and easy to follow along. Suggest maybe a 30 day challenge for beginners. :)
Please! Im juggling between all your videos all the time, a 30 day - or even 7 day course would be helpful!
It would be great
This is one of the very few dudes doing fitness content on youtube who's not full of BS. Respect.

Excellant stretch and mobility workout Tom , clearer instruction on move changes less focus on screen , thank you
By far the most relaxing version of this routine.
Just recently followed you and I have improved my flexibility. Thanks Tom
pumped to try this one out for first time. best thing about tom...he talks just the right amount.
