@@sonospiacente3334 for sure aside from the night mode to be honest I’ve done a comparison and the telephoto on the XS takes some awesome pictures that I don’t miss the wide angle for, cars, buildings, trees etc almost any subject at a bit of a distance looks a lot better leaving the 11 with the better landscape view so I’m happy with the trade with how much better they look on this screen. I can’t believe how underrated this phone is! Performance aside for now because they perform identically under heavy games/apps as of today so to me the 11 is just an XR with a better camera whereas the XS is an 11Pro with one less lens!
I also downgraded from iPhone SE (2nd Gen) to the xs… I love my xs because the battery is a step above, the Face ID and clean gestures make life easier and also I love having the ability to have a clear 2x zoom.

I watched this video on my XS, it died on my charger the next morning... completely unresponsive. Apple said it's unrepairable and my XS functioned perfectly fine with no damage till then. Guess I gotta get a 13 mini now. I just feel like this couldn't have been a coincidence haha.
I got my iPhone XS refurbished 2 and a half years ago and battery health was at 96% but now it’s at 73% and I definitely notice my phone dies pretty fast. I got the iPhone 13 mini 128 GB one (new from the Apple website which is a first for me as I usually get refurbished phones from Amazon) so I’m excited for it to arrive Monday to replace my XS

I’ve had my 512 GB Gold iPhone XS for 3 years now, the Face ID has unfortunately stopped working but so far I’m able to navigate daily life without it, but I read somewhere that iOS support for the XS will stop in September 2025, that’s when I’ll get a 512 GB Red iPhone 13 Mini…unless they revive the Mini line with the iPhone 17 but I don’t see that happening
The 13 minis battery is honestly much better than my xs max and it was almost new I stay on 100% for almost half an hour and it charges in like 30 minutes with the new 20 watt charger it’s great and at the end of the day I still have 40-50 and I’m a moderate-heavy user on my phone
Switched from XS to 13 Mini. The form factor of the Mini is far superior. I do prefer having a telephoto lens over ultrawide, but zooming in seems to match or exceed the quality of the XS photos. Low light photos are a total blowout in favor of 13. I do somewhat miss force touch, which was discontinued in the 11. Double base storage is a big deal. iPhones slow down very badly when you get close to running out of storage. A battery that is three years newer is obviously going to provide more reliable battery life.
i went from an iphone x to a 13 mini, it really depends on the condition of the X, mine felt like i had 1gb of ram, the battery wouldn’t last 4/5 hours, and the camera started to feel outdated. imo the jump was worth it, i’ll be looking forward to the iphone 15 👀
True, I recently changes the battery of my XS and it feels better now. I also had the issue of 4/6 hr of battery life. I will stick to it a bit more until it not usable anymore. I used the XS for 2.5 yr now.
I have the xs and only had it for around 3 weeks I have not seen a battery issue while some people say they see a battery issue in less then a week I don’t my battery lasts me 4-7 hours depending what I do with it that’s enough to get me mostly through out the day
My xs is a perfect size for me and I’ve been enjoying it for about 2 years now, hell i it still looks brand new but I’m debating wether I should just go up to 13
Great comparison. I’m soo tempted by the 13mini but…. Money is an option & as you’ve just shown, there really isn’t THAT much difference. Guess I’ll be keeping my xs max for another year or two

@@bebily1it’s honestly a great switch. I have no regrets at all..the camera is a great upgrade as well and I like the feel of the squared edges.. honestly don’t miss the XS.. I also paired the mini with the iPad mini 6.. great combo!

My xs got water damage - I got a replacement from my insurance of the xs, but I ordered the iPhone 13 mini so I could have a backup phone. They’re out of stock here in London a lot of places, I have to wait a few weeks for it to show up so I wonder which one I’ll want to use daily. I love the curved edges of xs and it still feels like a great phone. I was thinking maybe I should wait for the 14 to come out but I heard they may not be launching a mini version and I like smaller iPhones.

Guys I have used 13 pro max for a year however moving from an XS to a pro max I really feel like going back to a smaller phone either 13 mini or 14. This 13 pro max is a great phone yet too heavy and not very lets say comfortable to use as a daily and as a main phone. Ive seen this deal its for 13 mini 512gb or 14 256gb at the same price plan yet I’m more inclined towards 13 mini, the easiness to use due to size factor and small lighter phone however 14 will have slightly better battery yet almost the same size as XS which is still comfortable enough to use, any suggestions?
iPhone xs will be supported just like iphone 13 that's how I think it will be like everything from iphone 10 to 13 and up will still be supported until apple makes some big differences
dont know if you edited the video in different days, but the xs battery kept on 100%, while the mini has fallen from 95 --> 92%. But i see the time went from 10.40 --> 10.5x, as the video duration. if that's the case, not a good thing for the 13, to drain the battery quicker than the old one.

I just ordered my 13mini and trading in my xs, my xs is all banged up anyway cracked screen and back and it’s refurbished. I like the XS, but it’s a little to big for my pocket I just want something smaller.

The camera outdated? On iphone the camera always do a good job the X is still great

For me the 100% battery lasts me for around 30 mins till it goes down to 99 which is actually pretty good

The 12 and 13 are the same except the battery life and the 13’s notch is smaller
11 is currently $500 and 13 mini is $700. For double storage and superior form factor it’s a no brainer IMO.
